Valentin was very professional looking when he showed up. He was courteous and had me go through the issues we had. Valentin was diligent and conducted the repairs in a very cleanly and professional manner. He finished the faucet and pipe and then had me test them with him to make sure they were to my liking. He then went and fixed the pipe in the basement, He again had me test the pipe with him to make sure I was happy with the job he did. I would not hesitate to contact Valentin again should I need a plumber in the future. I cannot recommend him enough. I was very impressed.

My new dishwasher wouldn’t fit due to some odd plumbing. Val responded quickly, fixed the plumbing and installed the dishwasher. Super courteous and professional.

Valentin did an excellent job for me today. He surpassed my expectations. I was nervous finding a plumber online. I asked around and couldn’t find one through word of mouth. I was both relieved and pleased to find a capable and caring plumber. He answered questions about another plumbing need I had as well. He respected my wishes to communicate by email when others flooded my phone with calls I couldn’t take. He made sure my questions were asked and provided a free quote when I gave photos. He even matched a competitor’s offer and explained that his products were better quality. Valentin replaced my old leaking laundry tub faucet with a beautiful washerless faucet, both my washing machine shutoff knobs with better ball valve shut offs. He replaced my shutoff handle to the outside that would no longer work with a modern lever shutoff with a drain. He also quickly did an outside tap that I had forgotten about. And his work comes with a one year warranty. Can’t ask for more. Thank you very much Valentin.

Out of nowhere my shower handle just began dripping slowly. I turned it, thinking it was just partially open, and water started gushing from the handle. After determining this was not normal, I got on Homestars and put out a service request. Valentin of Strong Plumbing was first to the post and was able to diagnose the problem simply from the description. Valentin gave me his next available date, kept me updated on his whereabouts, and arrived on time. Within five minutes he was able to determine that the handle had been installed with a part missing, which caused the water pressure to slowly push out a component of the handle. He quickly replaced the part and repaired the issue. In addition to being extremely competent, Valentin was also an incredibly nice guy who took the time to pet my (overenthusiastic) pooch who also wanted to supervise the proceedings. He also took the time to inform me of a City program which would provide a significant rebate if I cared to install a backup sump pump. As a final note, Valentin's estimated cost was "on the money" - which is always nice when faced with the prospect of work by skilled trades. Please note that the "approximate cost" noted below was inclusive of HST. 10/10 would hire again.

My kitchen faucet had been leaking for some time so I called Valentin to replace it with a new one that he would supply. The countertop was getting rotten so he installed a metal support plate to secure it. New valves and supply lines were also installed as the old ones were in bad condition. Valentin was right on time and did the job quickly and efficiently. This is the second time I have called Strong Plumbing to do work at my house and would highly recommend them.

My shower was malfunctioning. The issue was with temperature fluctuation. The first company I used - Interglobal management- took a month to figure out what was wrong, told me they couldn’t replicate the issue - like I was imagining the problem, was rude and condescending and then stalled on actually doing the repair. Strong Plumbing figure out what was wrong over the initial phone call and the repair was done immediately. Valentin was very friendly and professional. The work was very neat and I am happy with the results. I would recommend Valentin and Strong Plumbing!

Valentin provided prompt replies to emails prior to hiring Strong to install a backup battery sump pump system. He was able to get the job scheduled promptly, was on time, and completed the work in the time period estimated. Also replaced a faulty pipe valve at no extra charge. Liberty 441 pump was installed, but would have been interested in hearing about the 442 pump also mentioned on their website.
