Hardwood on 2nd Floor
We decided to replace the 2nd floor carpet with 3/4" oak so I checked Homestars to see which companies were top rated and asked the top 2 for quotes. Both companies supplied comparable quotes but, when I had questions about the quotes, Patricia at Floorwood absolutely blew away the competition! The other highly rated company was too busy to worry about answering my questions but Patricia always responded to my emails quickly and was extremely helpful. Given the amount of money being spent, I felt a lot more comfortable giving my business to Floorwood considering her high level of customer service. A nice thing I discovered about Floorwood is how they manage their business. In my experience, the guy that comes to your house is the same guy that handles all the inquiries so his phone is ringing non-stop while he's trying to focus on doing your work. At Floorwood, Patricia handles all the office issues so Robert and Darek are able to focus on doing your job w/o constant distractions. When it was time for the carpet removal and hardwood install, Robert and Darek were terrific. I was home that week so I got to witness first hand how hard they worked to get everything just right. They arrived on time every day and were really nice guys that you could tell took a lot of pride in their work. The end result is a beautiful floor that looks like it was there all along and made us ask ourselves why we didn't we do this a long time ago. Overall, Floorwood is a great run small business that cares about their quality of workmanship, keeps in constant communication with you every step of the way and does a great job. What more could you ask for? Needless to say, I highly recommend them!

Addition and Renovation to my home.
I would like to comment on an installation that Floorwood Solutions did duirng an additon/renovation on my house. Robert and Derek are very knowledgeable and made themselves available to solve my problems and answer any questions i had concerning the installation, the product i was choosing etc. They went out of their way to address my concerns about a problem with the levelling of the floor and were more than considerate when the project was running behind and accomodated my changing the installation date. When they were installing the floor, they corrected problems that were not related to the floor area, and made sure that thresholds, baseboard areas were corrected to my satisfaction. They did a simply spectactular installation and then advised me on how to keep the floor safe until the construction was completely finished. Thanks to Rob and Derek, i have a masterpiece home. I couldn't be happier with my beautiful floors, not only the floor i chose, but the installers i chose. Thanks again to Rob and Derek.

Hardwood Installation
I had hardwood flooring installed in my master bedroom. I had received estimates from 4 different firms and although Floorwood was not the cheapest, it was not the most expensive either. What swayed me to choose them was their outstanding rating on Homestars. I was not disappointed. The guys arrived promptly and were very professional. The work lasted most of the day but it was painless (for me anyways). The installers were very neat and courteous. When they had finished the job, they cleaned up all the mess. I had selected a Brazilian cherry wood and after a couple of months, it still looks gorgeous. I would highly recoomend them.

Hardwood Floors Throughout House
Where do I begin? Patricia, Robert and Darek are an amazing team! I contacted Patricia on Homestars after reading some great reviews and I am so happy that I did. She promptly responded and sent me samples of colours to choose from. After some communication via email arrangements where made to meet Robert to do measurements and to make a final decision on the colour I wanted. I was working with a tight schedule as I purchased a townhouse that was carpeted throughout and I wanted the floors done prior to moving in. Patricia, Robert and Darek were absolutely amazing!!! They made the entire process painless for me and did an amazing job on my floors. I can not begin to explain how happy I am about the floors and the way they do business! They went above and beyond for me and I would recommend them to anyone. Everyone has complemented the floors and want to know who did them. There is so much more I would say but I don't want to write a novel. So let me say this, Floorwood Soultions Inc is an excellent company. They are professional, punctual, hardworking, caring, and take great pride in there work and I am happy I choose them.

Hardwood floor
Very knowlegable and friendly people at Floorwood Solutions Inc. Wiil give you free proffesional advice. Great service, good communication. Hardwood delivered as promised and in time. Will use this company again for my future projects. Thank you Rob and Tereza.

Hardwood flooring installation
Excellent service, craftsmanship. They were wr very professional and tidy. You can tell they take pride in their work and we had no issues. I'll recommend them to anyone. We're already getting tons of compliments on our floors.

Family Room Installation
We received a recommendation from my wife's cousin. At the beginning it was quite difficult to get a hold of them, as most of the communication occurs over email. Wise precaution to have everything in writing, however you best check your junk filter to see if they have written back to you. After the dialogue gets started, they answer all your questions via email. After Robert does his visits your somewhat convinced that he may be the right person for the job. However what really convinced was the fact we were getting a good Vintage made product and the numerous negotiations and the pricing points they gave us to meet our budget. They were also a pretty stickler about knowing what their skills are worth. Willing to walk away from a job if the relationship is not mutually beneficial. There were sometimes when I had to remind certain conversations that took place, but once reminded they were willing to own up to what was discussed and take the necessary action. This proves the good customer service skills. We will be definitely continue with rest of the house with hardwood, just taking it one year at a time on different sections of the house.

Fast and friendly service all around
We found Patricia on another forum (thank you RFD!) and she was very helpful with our decision to pick the type of wood and the brand. From the ordering to installation, everything was done professionally, quickly on a very timely manner and within our budget. We were pressed for time and Robert and his partner were able to accommodate our need very last minute and worked to get the project done. We also changed our mind while the project was underway about installing hardwood on the 1/2 moons along the stairway. They were able to quickly order wood and install within in the time. We had oak stairs but installed hickory natural wood (lots of variation in colour) Robert did an excellent job installing it so much so that everything flows together and can't tell a difference in the wood. We are very happy with wood choice and installation. Thank you Patricia for your efficient and quick responses to all our inquiries.

Vintage Baroque 5"
Patricia and Robert were able to get me my flooring at a great price and quickly too (on short notice). I really appreciate their effort and communication. I will not hesistate to contact them for my hardwood flooring needs (which will be in the near future). Thanks!

Robert and Patricia are the best in business.
Patricia and Robert make a terrific combination and provide the best quality consultation, product and workmanship. After having my floors done with them, I am convinced my floor couldn't have been done better. They know the business inside out and love what they do. If you are not hiring them, you are missing out on the best service in GTA. Oh and their prices are the most reasonable. Patricia made every effort to provide the best product in my budget and Robert is fun to work with. We went with Vintage White Oak Cambridge Select V.
