CLI was called in to give a quote for the office renovation in a large retail store. We had a few electrical contractors submit quotes and although CLI Electric was not the cheapest, their quote was in the mid range and within our budget. Also we found Steve to have the most experience and knowledge when it came to electrical work, and he came very highly recommended by other professionals. The crew arrived on time everyday and worked with great professionalism and dedication, thus making the job go very smoothly and without any problems. They finished on time and stayed right on budget. I will definitely use CLI Electric again for any future projects that may come up.

After much deliberation I decided to move ahead on upgrading the lighting and pot lights throughout our home. I had seen a few sites that CLI Electric had worked on in our neighborhood and would highly recommend their expert knowledge and experienced team to do any electrical project from custom homes to service calls. Their quote was detailed and fair. The job went smoothly and everything looks incredible. Will call them again without any hesitation because I know I’m calling the best!

Outstanding, the quality of work and the customer service are all 10+++ and super nice people to as well! Steve and his team are without a doubt the best crew that has worked on my home (and we've had many). When we decided to tackle the remaining knob & tube of our century old home and all its wacky electrical issues, we brought in the 7 highest-reviewed electrical companies on Homestars. We chose CLI Electric not only because the pricing was fair and all reviews were excellent, Steve was also extremely thorough when inspecting the house for the quote - in fact (and surprisingly) he was the only electrician who cared enough to open up my electrical panels and sub-panels! We had a very tight schedule to follow, and although the job took longer than expected, we were more than happy that Steve took the time to DO IT RIGHT. The ESA inspector came through and we passed without issue. I can rest easy knowing that CLI Electric has made my house safer… and it looks so much better as well. The piece de resistance is that Steve and his team are MASTERS at wire-fishing. They only made the smallest and absolutely necessary holes through my old plaster walls, which made it easier to patch. Steve is a consummate professional and true to his word, his team is excellent, hardworking guys that went above and beyond. It is so rare to find such an upstanding crew and I would not even think of hiring any other electrician from here on.

Great company. They came quickly and put up a new service mast after the storm had knocked it down. The work they did is clean, precise and top quality and the quote was competitive. Very impressed with CLI Electric, I will be calling them again for future work to be done.

We were on holidays down south when the ice storm hit Toronto. Family members in the area went by our home to check to see if there was any damage and sure enough, the power line was down and the stack pipe and meter base was demolished by fallen branches. My brother and sister in-law had used CLI Electric before and highly recommend them to us. I called and spoke with Steve the following day. He was working on the very same street as our house, which was completely serendipitous. Steve was able to give me a quote after going over to our house to have a look at the damage. I didn’t hesitate and scheduled him to go ahead and do the work. We were able to co-ordinate everything over the phone and by email. The quote was great, very fair, he could have taken advantage of the circumstances but that’s not the type of person he is. We arrived back in Toronto yesterday and we had power!! We also received the Certificate of Inspection today via email. No wonder CLI Electric is so highly rated. Excellent customer service. I will be singing their praises to everyone.

CLI ELECTRIC IS THE BEST ELECTRICAL COMPANY EVER!!!! I was in the same boat as many Torontonians during the recent power outage following the ice storm. Everyone was calling around to find an ESA Licensed Electrical company that had some availability to get them fixed up so that Hydro could come in and do the permanent connection. I called over a dozen companies, some from here on Homestars and others from the Yellow Pages (big mistake there). Laura returned my call promptly and asked me to send her pictures which I guess helped them facilitate the quoting process since their crews were busy and really didn’t have time to run around giving estimates all over the city, which is completely understandable in a case like this. The estimate I got was a breath of fresh air, it was fair and honest, seriously I heard the angels singing. I had some other exorbitant quotes from other contractors that were obviously taking advantage of the ice storm providing them with a flood of damaged service stacks and meter bases. CLI’s estimate was 1,500 which was less than half of what some of these other companies were quoting. Steve, Adam and Frank arrived early in the morning and worked hard in the cold weather to make sure I was a satisfied and happy customer. In addition to completing the job Steve arranged for the permit and to have the ESA inspector out to inspect and certify the work they did. That old wise saying that “people show their true colours in times of crisis” holds so very true, especially for Steve and CLI Electric. They demonstrated the most noble of qualities, honorability, honesty, and true integrity.

CLI Electric proved why they are hands down the best electrical company. We gutted our kitchen and Steve found many code violations and hazardous do it yourself wiring from previous owners. We had him complete all new wiring for the kitchen appliances, hood fan, GFCI, outlets, switches, pot lights and under cabinet lighting. Everything looks amazing. Once again it was a pleasure having Steve and his team in our home. They treat their customers with great respect and take real pride in their work and it shows. Next on my list is the master bathroom, maybe next year. Looking forward to hiring them again.

I found CLI through a friend and was told that they provided great service at a fair and reasonable price. I contacted them installing pot lights and outdoor lights for my garden and landscaping. They gave me a reasonable estimate and I hired them for the work. I must say, I've had bad experiences in the past with contractors but CLI Electric was an entirely different experience. They were professional, reliable and did the work beautifully. I am very satisfied and would use them again and again and I highly recommend them to family and friends who need any sort of electrical work done.

Steve was able to accommodate our crazy schedule and his quote was within our budget. What made us decide to hire CLI Electric was Steve’s expert knowledge, professionalism and easy going friendly personality. They arrived when they said they would and completed everything right on schedule. No doubt we made the right choice. I will be calling CLI Electric back again for some future interior work we would like done.

Steve came out and gave us a quote and we hired him on the spot, we booked the time for the following week and we couldn’t be happier. It was Steve and his 2 electricians that did the installation and they completed everything on the same day. They were very mindful of our home and put down drop sheets and coverings to protect our floors and furniture. Excellent service from start to finish. We will be recommending CLI Electric to everyone.
