My wife and I bought our new home in the spring and we knew we had some work to do. We were referred to CLI by a friend of ours and we called Steve to come by to give us a quote. Upon meeting Steve I was impressed by his expertise and professionalism. The work completed was a knob and tube rewire and a service upgrade to 200amps. The workmanship is first class, everything past inspection with no problems. They arrived on time and completed everything on time on on budget, not one cent over the quote. Plus the house was left spotless, now that's service!! I have found my electrician for life and wouldn't even think of hiring anyone else. Recommend these guys in a New York minute.

CLI did an excellent job at replacing all knob and tube wiring in our house. Steve and his team were courteous, polite and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. They made minimal damage to our walls and even patched the holes they had to make. They were very pleasant to deal with and made our experience very stress free. We highly recommend Steve to everyone and we are planning to have him come back and install pot lights throughout our house. Great customer service and high quality workmanship.

CLI Electric did an amazing job installing our exterior pot lights. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. Steve was great with getting back with us, once the job started it didn't take very long for them to finish. The finished result is amazing will definitely be using them in the future.

I had CLI Electric come out last summer on the hottest day of the year to fix our A/C. Steve and Jack came by and got things going in short order. I am very happy with the results and would recommend CLI Electric to anyone who enjoys friendly, knowledgeable top notch service.

We recently bought an 90 year old house, so as you can imagine, there was a lot of electrical work to be done. The main job was removal of knob and tube wiring which spanned most of the house. I got quotes from about seven electricians which I found here on Homestars and through recommendations from our realtor, online, etc. Right from the beginning, CLI Electric was by far the best we encountered. They returned my call promptly and set up an appointment for a quote. Steve came by the house, on time, and provided a very thorough inspection of the situation and a detailed explanation of what had to be done and why. His quote was very fair and competitive. After our first meeting with Steve, there was absolutely no question about who to hire, and we called Steve to set a date to start the work. In the end, we ended up commissioning CLI Electric to do quite a bit of electrical work, including: Full removal of knob and tube wiring throughout the house, Service and panel upgrade, installation of pot lights and installation of two new outdoor GFCI receptacles. The work done by Steve and his crew was absolutely impeccable. On top of that, they patched up the holes they had to make for a reasonable cost. This is a huge bonus! Lastly, they are extremely clean, polite and professional. They put down drop cloths everywhere they were working and thoroughly clean up all the work areas on a daily basis. I am not exaggerating when I say my house was cleaner each day after they left. On top of everything else, Steve and Adam are just genuinely nice guys – the type of guys you don’t mind having in your house. Very, highly recommend!

This review is long overdue. I hired CLI Electric last year to remove old knob and tube wiring and rewire our house with new up to code wiring. They did a superb job and if I could give them a gold medal I would for the following: Excellent Customer Service, High Quality Workmanship, Fair Pricing, Reliability , Professionalism and dedication towards achieving excellent results! Needless to say I am very pleased with the way these guys were always on time, clean and very respectful with our home. Definitely recommend. 

I contacted CLI a few months ago and had them to our panel and service work. I knew from their ratings on homestars that the quality of work would be excellent. Their estimate was much better than the other companies. Steve and Adam arrived early and answered my questions with ease. I had some last minute additions to the scope of work which they accommodated no problem. I have already recommend CLI Electric to my family and friends and will be using them again in the future.

I was referred to CLI Electric by a close friend that used them before and said I couldn’t go wrong using them. Now I’m not one to do reviews but I feel that this is very well deserved, I am delighted to assist in the efforts of letting others know true high quality workmanship and trade pride still exists out there. Without going into too much details my house is over 5000 sqft and needed many upgrades. Steve and his team made it much brighter and better by installing instep lights and landscape lighting, chandelier hanging and 150 new pot lights and the list goes on. They were SIMPLY PHENOMENAL!! The detail and quality of their work is second to none. Could I have gotten everything done much cheaper? Probably, but this is my home, my family’s home and this is my pride and joy (next to my children) and I believe that you get what you pay for and I wouldn’t have it any other way now that I see the finished product. Thank you to the great team at CLI Electric and I hope this review helps others make an educated decision. 

I contacted CLI Electric because we were having some electrical issues in our home, the dimmer switches had been installed incorrectly by the previous owner and were sparking. Upon investigation by Steve, he found that the switches were wired incorrectly. Steve was able to quickly correct the problems without any issue. Overall I am extremely pleased with CLI Electric’s service and expertise. I will be using them again in the near future for some renovation plans I have.

Steve from CLI Electric arrived on time and was very courteous. He assembled and installed 2 ceiling fans we bought and a new bathroom fan. He even fixed a switch that was not working free of charge. I highly recommend CLI Electric to everyone that is looking for a honest and reliable electrical company. 10 STAR SERVICE!! Keep up the good work.
