    Repair various electrical issues

    I called Steve from CLI Electric to come by and have a look at fixing some switches and outlets that weren't working and also have a look at some "mystery" wiring in the basement. Everything was fixed and working within a few hours and he did a quick inspection and let me know of some other serious issues I had with the wiring in the basement. He took care to make sure everything was safe until I have the extra funds to do the extra work in the future. His friendly and easy going nature took the stress out of what could have been a huge ordeal. I will be calling CLI Electric to come back very soon.

    Emergency service call

    The power went out in half of the house over the weekend . I found CLI Electric and gave them a call. Steve came out within a few hours of our initial call. Upon arrival he immediately found the problem and put in a new main breaker. I am very impressed with this company, the service was top notch. I will definitely call them back for any future electrical work.

    House Rewire

    A co-worker recommended CLI Electric to me. After the initial meeting with Steve, my wife and I felt that we were in good hands going with him. We were expecting to end up with huge amounts of damage to the walls but they were able to do the wiring with little damage which was a huge sigh of relief. We also opted to upgrade the service and panel to 200 amps. We feel comforted in knowing that our home wiring is now safe and that it was done by experts. We will definitely be calling CLI Electric again.

    Install Pot Lights

    I contacted CLI Electric for a quote on installing pot lights in my living and dining room. Steve came out a few days later and was very helpful with providing me with the information I needed in order to decide which kind of lights I wanted (LED or LV). I decided to go with the LED lights, they are a bit more expensive put will save me $ in the long run. The installation was done by Adam and Junior, they were very respectful of my home by putting down drop sheets and furniture covers so that the dust from drilling didn’t end up all over the place. They cleaned up thoroughly once they were done and left my home spotless. I am extremely happy with the work done and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great electrical contractor.

    knob and tube rewire

    For insurance purposes we upgraded the wiring in our 1920’s home. We came across CLI Electric here on Homestars decided to give them a call. All I can say is that it was the best call we ever made. Steve came out the following day to examine our house and found many electrical issues in the house that could have resulted in a fire. Steve provided us with a competitive quote and we moved forward with the rewire of our home asap. The guys were punctual, clean and very professional in their dealings with us. We thought a job of this magnitude was going to be a huge hassle but they made it seem easy. They did an excellent job at patching up the holes as well, and made everything paint ready. CLI Electric is definitely experts at what they do.

    Aluminum Wire Rejuvination

    Our house had aluminum wiring. When we had an electrical problem, we found CLI Electric here on Homestars and noticed they had quite a bit of experience with aluminum wiring. Steve came out and solved our issue, and we discussed further action, which ended up being rejuvenation. All pricing was made clear up front so there were no surprises, and the work was done to our complete satisfaction. We had the pleasure of dealing with Steve directly, and his team consisted of Adam and Frank who were always clean and courteous. CLI Electric will be our first choice for all our electrical needs in the future.

    new wiring and renovations

    I'm moving up to Toronto from the US (Charlotte,NC) for work. We bought a house and needed some updates, and renovations. I'm still going back and forth (it sucks) every few weeks, but they did a great job. Can't wait to be up there full time to really enjoy the new house!

    Panel rewire

    We renovated our entire home and of course needed a complete panel rewiring which CLI did a fantastic job on. I'm super pleased with the quality and service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent results customer care. I've never seen such a beautifully done wiring job! Their estimate was also right on the mark and they were on time as well, which is much appreciated these days as my wife and I both work full time. They also did a number of other things including installing dimmer switches, putting in track lighting and running wires to a number of new electrical installations. Again, if you need anything electrical done in your home CLI Electric is fantastic.

    Dimmer switched install

    With 28 pot lights on the first floor of our new open concept home it was like a lighthouse in here. We tried to install a few dimmer switches on our own, but the confusing wiring turned what we thought would be an easy project into a veritable nightmare. Steve was able to swing by our house within 24 hours of us contacting him - and in a 1/2 hour he was able to get all the dimmer switches installed and operational. Friendly, prompt, and perfect service!

    Light installation + more

    Bought my first place at 23 years old and my father was very sick so I had no one to turn too for free help so that meant I had to pay. The CLI guy showed up (can't remember his name, this was a year ago and a rough patch of my life), and did some "simple stuff" like install the light currently over my head right now. He was in and out in about an hour. It was stuff that I might have been able to do myself, but considering everything else going on in my life and the inexperience of just buying my first place I was happy for the friendly help. They answered all of my questions along the way as I tried to learn for next time. Thanks + keep up the good work!
