We decided to make some kitchen updates which began with the removal of a structural wall. After a few meetings, we decided to move forward with CCR Renovations to tackle this project, and we're very happy with this decision! Matt came to see us and to discuss our options. Matt helped us navigate the necessary steps required to make this possible - engineering drawings, town permit, and inspection. Matt also coordinated the trades necessary to assist with plumbing, H-VAC and electrical. Once the job started, Greg was our on-site contact and was fantastic. Nothing really can prepare you for the disruption a large scale renovation has on your family and day-to-day life, but Greg made it as painless as possible. He explained each step, kept the job moving and worked through many unexpected roadblocks we encountered once we actually opened the wall up. Greg also lead by example with his work ethic, positivity and leadership, keeping the job on time and on budget, right up until our inspection passed. Moving a structural wall is very stressful and it's important to do it properly for many reasons. I can say with confidence that CCR is the only company I would ever call for any future structural projects.

Earlier this year we worked with CCR to complete a renovation on our main floor and bathroom. After walking them through our thoughts on the work we wanted done, we were immediately impressed by the design they presented, which went above and beyond our expectations. The team was presented with a number of challenges through COVID, which they responded to with thoughtfulness and professionalism. We have lived in the new space for several months now and continue to be blown away by the quality of work done by this team. They executed that initial design, that we were so impressed by, beautifully. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a top notch renovator to remodel their home. Work included: Gutting and remodelling the bathroom and kitchen, vaulting the ceiling in the kitchen to match the living room, removing asbestos in the stucco ceiling, replacing the floors, rebuilding the staircase, installing exhaust fans in the kitchen and bathroom, insulating the walls and ceiling, painting and finishing.

We entrusted CCR renovations with our home renovation. Our renovation included our entire mainfloor, powder room, guest bath and ensuite. From the very beginning, the quote was well laid out and clear. Any questions we had regarding the quote were answered quickly and thoroughly. CCR helped us through the process of selecting finishes for each room which was very helpful, especially given the large scope of our project. Greg, the lead hand was excellent with educating us throughout the process and showing us what work was being done each day. He was very professional and took the time to thoroughly describe everything to us and always assured us that we could make changes along the way. The crew members were all kind and courteous and I felt very comfortable having them in our home to complete the work as they worked their magic! The spaces were always swept clean at the end of the day. CCR has excellent relationships with their sub trades which we found very important as this helped to ensure smooth transitions between work. It also helped to keep our project constantly moving forward despite being in a global pandemic. We truly valued this because we felt that they were always working without lulls. I was also working from home during parts of the renovation and they were courteous and respectful. They truly are a company who cares and take pride in the beauty of their jobs. Thank you CCR for a spectacular job! Our space feels brand new and we would use the company again in a heart beat!

My husband and I renovated our Port Perry bungalow in June of 2020 and while it may seem like this review is long overdue, we wanted to see how satisfied we remained at the end result of our renovation and with the after care that we received after our last invoice was paid before submitting a review. I can honestly say that we remain fully satisfied with the calibre of professionalism and the quality of workmanship that the team at CCR Renovations and the trades that they use provide. The scope of our renovation was to remove an interior non load bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room to create an open floor plan. A full kitchen remodel, gutting an existing finished basement to create a basement master suite with a four piece bathroom, exercise room, living room and storage area. Gutting and revamping the ensuite of the main-floor master bedroom, and updating the main-floor bathroom. We also changed the layout of the laundry room, removed our popcorn ceilings, added new pot lights and light fixtures throughout, replaced all existing 1flooring and updated our staircase and railings. Additionally we chose to upgrade all of our windows and our front door as the renovation progressed. CCR handled everything including the window and door install. We dealt throughout the project mainly with Matt, Sam, Stuart, Connor and Derek, meeting with the trades only when decisions were required. Throughout the renovation we loved the fact that we were kept informed, even to the point that our kitchen layout was mapped out on the floor prior to cementing our final layout as was our basement bedroom prior to the walls being studded. This helped us to see the flow and layout and led to a couple of minor modifications that gave us the end result we wanted. Our phone calls and emails were always answered promptly and after our renovation was complete have remained attentive the minor touch ups that we have needed as our renovation settled. Renovating during a pandemic comes with its own set of unique challenges and CCR managed to handled every one of them. We have recommended CCR renovations to people who have mentioned renovation projects and would not hesitate to use them for any future renovations that we undertake.

We had a major renovation on our house - structural walls removed, beams put in, total kitchen overhaul, re-do stairs, full railing system, and remove all popcorn ceilings. I reached out to a few companies when starting to plan our renovation and ended up choosing CCR for a few reasons; their online testimonies on sites such as this, how Matthew handled answering our initial questions, and the fact that they had been involved with TV shows. I'm so glad I ended up choosing them, as our renovation is more than I could have hoped for. Greg was the lead person on the day-to-day job and was so pleasant to work with; friendly, well-spoken, very knowledgeable and was quick to get back to me whenever I had a question. He also helped with some really important decisions like the size of the island, placement of the skylight, and how far to extend our kitchen. He was always in a good mood which made everything seem to go smoothly. We ended up changing our kitchen supplier after the initial consult, which pushed back our date, but CCR was able to work around it so that we wouldn't be extending the time we would have to go without a kitchen. One of the things that we really appreciated was how clean the place was after every workday. They swept and moved tools etc. so that the space didn't get too chaotic, which we really appreciated. They were able to work with our budget and give many options so that we could have the style we were looking for at the price that would be appropriate. Communication was excellent - texting and emailing always proved to have quick responses and Sam, Matthew and Greg were awesome at getting back to me. If you're looking for a fair price, excellent quality, friendly workers, and a good timeline, I'd recommend CCR for any project. They have the know-how, sub-trades, and business end of things down!

We utilized the CCR team in 2018 to finish our basement. Some of the features that were included were adding a theater area, a dry bar, 3 piece bathroom and moving our laundry room into the basement. In addition, they converted our old laundry room into a mudroom which included adding a beautiful large washing station. Two years later and the work that was completed in both the basement and the mudroom still looks like the first day it was completed. The workmanship is outstanding; everything they do is done to perfection and completed to a very high standard. CCR truly takes pride in their work and it definitely shows. Working with the entire CCR team was a great experience from start to finish. They were respectful of our budget and helped come up with various suggestions for design and finishes to help us stay on track. The entire team is professional and very easy to talk to and work with. They were always open to any modifications we requested along the way and always ensured we were happy with everything that was being done throughout the entire process. In addition, they were very respectful of our home and always tidied up the best they could at the end of every work day. I would definitely use CCR again for any future projects and would highly recommend them to anyone that is wishing to have high quality work done on their home!

Can't tell you how happy I am with my reno. From the first meeting with Matt, he "got" that I was looking for something different - he understood I was thinking outside the box so he suggested bringing in Wheeler studios for the custom cabinetry. We took down walls, vaulted the ceiling and the space looks fantastic. The team was excellent, led by Greg. Very responsive and were able to roll with last minute changes and ideas that were not planned. And came in ahead of schedule. I would use them again in a second.

We are very grateful to the team at CCR for understanding our vision, sharing creative ideas and overall professionalism throughout - our master bathroom looks amazing! From the start, Matt was thorough and transparent with expectations and provided several design options. Once the project began, Brandon managed every aspect ensuring we were satisfied at the end of each day. The crew were always clean and polite. We had a two storey addition built by CCR in 2019. CCR renovations was an exceptional company to work with. It was important for us to hire locally. Our first contact was with Matt, who was as logical and straightforward as I was. He presented his quote with all the details I wanted, and many more details than any of the other contractors that we had considered for the project. He and his team were there to guide us through each phase of the 3 month project, often calming my anxieties about the next step. Although the job started in late September, a couple of weeks late, due to the excavators being delayed, the job was still finished before Christmas. CCRs team was extremely courteous, and I must say that they went out of their way to make us, the clients, happy, by going over and beyond the contract stipulations. I believe this shows how much they really care to provide a quality final product. We are thrilled with the results, and we have hired them to complete a new deck for us this year.

I am actually sitting at the island in our new kitchen as we have just finished our renovation using CCR and we could not be happier with the results and the overall experience. From the first day, Matt was great in walking through our ideas and developing a comprehensive budget and plan to accomplish what we had hoped for with our main floor renovation which included removing load bearing walls and installing a new kitchen. The entire team led by Greg was an amazing group to work with. Always happy to explain what was happening, make suggestions to improve the design, and always ready to put that extra effort in to make things happen. The project was very close to budget, only went over based on our personal changes impacting the costs. The timeline was on target and they worked hard to get us in before our temporary living accommodations finished. We came into renovations expecting it to be extremely painful but CCR made the entire journey easy and painless.
