I have been living in my current residence for over 15 years now and never needed a security system...until my neighbour's house got broken into. I most of all wanted to protect my family from any intruders so I called MHB after searching online. They designed a unique system for my family and actually took the time to come to my house to do it. I was so amazed at the knowledge they had about designing a system and which equipment would work best in each type of situation. Installation went smooth and the guy even cleaned up after himself..which my wife was happy about. I actually have recommended them to my mom and friends.

I had an excellent experience with MHB Security. Everything was explained, installed on time and any issues or questions I had about my services were answered promptly. I would definitely use MHB Security for my next house.

Previously I wrote a poor review of MHB. I would just like to add that since then, we have resolved our issues. After reading the review I got a prompt response! As mentioned before, the sales and installation was never a problem. The guy who came to install the system was very efficient and knew his business pretty well. We got brand new equipments. No problem with that. The total cost that I mentioned is what I am going to pay in total over the contract period. You can definitely rely on MHB's products and sales.

Just had an ADT Security system installed through MHB Security. It was a pleasant experience getting it through them since they had a professional sales manager come and look around our house so he could design the perfect system to suit my family needs and that would also be within our budget. We signed up withhim the same day to save our promotion. Surprisingly one of their packages online was the best for my house so I did not have to pay anything overtop. I also got an upgraded free 4 button remote for my wife since the sales manager thought it was a must for her but we couldn't really afford to pay anything except the monitoring cost, so he added it in for free. The installer was very nice and professional anddid a neat and clean job. Overall I would recommend MHB Security to those looking for a security system.

I had previously written a poor review of this company. After corresponding with Hamid, the sales manager the issues I had with the company were resolved. The alarm system received was a good deal for the price. The installer who came was fast and efficient. Will definitely recommend.

I was recommended to MHB Security by my brother. My brother had purchased an ADT system from http://www.mhbsecurity.com/promo.html and he was happy about the deal so I checked their website. They seem to offer lot more ADT equipment then any other company in GTA,. I also had checked on BBB site and found that MHB Security has been in business for the last 10 years and has a highest A+ customer satisfaction rating. They had great reviews on internet by their previous customers so I called them and got their two-way wireless system. Their sales manager and their installer was very professional. The only problem was that appointment was not available the day I wanted, but it was available next day. I think they need to hire more people if they are very busy. Other then that, I am very happy that I got an ADT system with them.

When we are trying to protect our home, we need to see what devices are needed to protect the house in a decent manner. I am also an MHB Security customer who signed up with them for ADT system last month in York region. I would not blame MHB Security for charging for the York Police registration or guard services as every other company was charging the same anyway. But they did give me an option like if I take a couple of less devices in the package, they will pay for my Police registration but I needed every thing so decided to register for York police and paid that. When I started my research about home security system I found out one door and 1 motion sensor is not enough to protect the home in a proper style. I have 5 exterior doors and 5 big slider windows in the basement. My house is pre-wired. What I read on the internet is that all exterior door should have contacts and big slider windows in the basement should have contacts as well. Motion sensor should be used as a backup in the basement and on the main floor to be an interior trap. A wall-mounted keypad is needed to control the system. On my main floor I have casement windows, as every body knows casement window can not opened from outside unless burglar breaks the glass so I did not need contacts on my casement windows. I then phoned AlarmForce and was surprised to see they only give basic 2 door and 1 motion for free and each extra contact was $69 and each extra Motion was $99. AlarmForce was also charging me $5 per month for the guard response and Police was not an option with them as I had learnt from CBC Market place news that AlarmForce can not even send Police. I checked with Cubb, Chubb is another great name compared to ADT. Chubb was charging $690 for the installation and it was still the basic 3 door , 1 motion and 1 keypad package and I was still supposed to pay for the extra equipment and sign up for York Police or Guard services per month. I then stumbled upon MHB Security website, I saw so many good reviews and few bed ones about MHB Security, they seemed to offer lot more then any company and their offer looked to good to be true so I called them and spoke to Customer service agent. He then showed me their hardwired package that had 10 contacts that can cover my all doors and slider windows and 2 hardwired motion sensor. I booked the appointment with them, Mr. Firth came to my home. He also gave me 2 options, either pay for the York Police registration or choose guard. I selected York Police as it was best option. In the end, I am very happy customer of MHB Security for my ADT system as not a single company was giving me as much equipment as they did for me for free, plus their rating at bbb site is A+ that shows their sincere business. Their free Hotel coupons were the bonus which I am planning to use this summer.

I'm a customer of MHB's. I've always graviated towards ADT between the major alarm companies, and when I called around, MHB offered one of the best deals. When I was doing my research, I noticed a lot of chatter on forum websites, both for and against them -- the problem, though, was that all of the posters that were engaging in the discussions had less than 5 posts. They were all fake. All of them. Countless stories on either how MHB saved a a 9/10/11-year old, or how they killed a puppy...it was ridiculous. In addition, you might notice (by clicking on the username of every poster below me (and possibly above me too) has only made one comment: a rave review for MHB. More fake comments... Then, I came across this website <http: />, which if you'll pay attention gives ADT/MHB only 5 star reviews, and every other corporate alarm company 1-2 stars. Imagine that -- a completely fake website (a whois DNS search yielded that it had been registered anonymously...). I called them anyway, and took note whey they told me about their one-time 189 "police fee" (which, interestingly, is worded on the contract as "activation fee"). It =made me wonder how the police would feel if they felt that their interests were being misrepresented... I couldn't help but wonder -- is this the kind of company that I want to enlist to protect my home? Ultimately, I signed with them anyway. Nobody else was offering as much equipment as they were, and even though I had to pay the $189 scam fee, I would have paid that money to somebody else in one way or another anyway. Also, I'd be paying this guy to set me up, but ultimately ADT would be doing the protecting. Hamid [last name removed--Ed] has got to be the hardest working man in the business. It's tremendously sad, though, that he's had to resort to these kinds of tacticts to try to attract business -- especially because when you take away all the smoke and mirrors, you have a fairly solid product offering.

We had phoned [competitor name removed--Ed], ADT corporate, [competitor name removed--Ed] before we decided to go with MHB Security for our ADT monitored system. MHB Security is an ADT dealer and offered us a better deal then any company. The monthly was standard, we had chosen two-way voice system with them, but we did get a lot more free adt home alarm equipment through MHB Securit. [competitor name removed--Ed] seemed like a better deal in the beginning but once we realized, they only offer 1 door and 1 motion for free and I have to pay a lot more to get complete protection. Plus we never own the system with [competitor name removed--Ed] as we have to return the system after 3 years while with MHB Security, once we finish the ADT contract with them, we can keep the entire system and lower the monthly with ADT, or we can decide to go with any other alarm company for cheaper monitoring after 3 years. We did not sign up for Camera package with MHB Security as we were better off buying the camera through them for $14 and adding it our package. Whoever is looking for free adt home security system, I would recommend MHB Security to them.

I had initially spoken with someone at their office to book an appointment for a home alarm installation. Days later when the representative arrived at my home for the appointment, he informed me that there was a fee/charge involved with the "promotional" service advertised in which I was unaware of, and had not been advised via telephone prior to the scheduled appointment. Due to this discrepancy, the representative fairly resolved this fee/charge issue by waiving it as he realized it was an error on their end. As a result, I signed the 3 year contract, had the installation completed by their sub-contracted technician (on another day), and have had no problems since.
