The Steelworks once again produced a fine piece of metalwork that was both elegant and well executed. The level of craft, experience and practicality of fabrication is a rare find.

James was professional and idea oriented which helped in this project of designing a computer control workstation to my personal specifications. He was straight forward in designing and installing tricky metal siding on a kitchen addition to my property which added to the value of same. Very satisfied, all around.

I have worked with the Steelworks and owner James Mcleod many times on large and small projects. James recently completed a custom designed laser cut metal garden gate designed to represent a bookcase. He did a wonderful job. I highly recommend The Steelworks.

James has designed, built and installed bike racks, rooftop railings and rebuilt rooftop signage for a 3 story building. He is able to problem solve and he gets the job done as quoted and on time.

Spirit, attitude and style jump from his work. The quality of the workmanship is something that I also appreciate. The work has stood up to much wear and tear still looks good. THE STEELWORKS kept me informed and responded to my concerns in a respectful and complete way. This is something I appreciate as someone who works with artists, crafts people and professionals on daily basis. I met James Mcleod several years ago when he was the artist for a steelworks art piece for Massey Harris Park. Since that time, I have not hesitated to use his services for both small and large projects. His work is of extremely high quality and even the smallest job receives his undivided attention. I have always been surprised when getting work done by James how cost competitive his prices are, especially considering the quality. He gives exceptional value, service and attention to every job. he can do every thing from railings to large steel projects.
