Roof repair/replacement I saw their sign, and after having my roof done by some hacks that charged all kinds of money to just have more leaks a year later, these guys did it all right. Showed up in uniform, very personable, professional and detailed oriented. Didn't work 5 jobs at once and delivered on time. I would have no hesitation recommending Oxxo as the absolute best roofing company in the city for price, quality and pride in their workmanship. The best part is they leave your place looking cleaner than when they arrived. They work for hours and hours on end with no break to ensure that they beat the inclement weather and are truly a class act. You will not find a better company to trust with your home. Thank you Amilcar and Chris, my house is in great shape thanks to you and your men!

When our roof needed to be replaced I called oxxo roofers. Their quote was the best and I knew they had done good work on other homes in the neighbourhood. They did not disappoint and far exceeded all of my expectations with respect to communication about the job and when it would be completed, how efficiently it was carried out and the clean-up after the job. It was also refreshing to see how well the crew worked together and respected one another. Thank you to Amilcar and his team for a job well done.

I have no words to explain the excellent work that OXXO roofing done on my roof, a team stunts were very organized and attentive throughout the safety of work .i resive estimates of 22 companies and only the roof OXXO liked me, gave me a good price and did a good job for a professional unlikely event that I personally hired OXXO .... thanks you have just as my headache .... recommend to all who need OXXO roofing company, thank Amilcar and his team .. .

From the initial quote to the final shingle Amilcar and his team were professional, respectful and courteous. Our old roof needed to be removed, slightly repaired and replaced. As well we had the OXXO team install a skylight and replace eaves troughs. Not only did the team begin a few days earlier than expected they completed the job in 2 days leaving the house and yard clean and without damage. We have since referred OXXO to many of our friends.

Oxxo Roofing was referred by a friend. They were very responsive to my enquiries, from original quote to job completion. Always at the end of the phone. Corrected deficiencies without haggling. Willing to learn and willing to please. Job was done quickly and Job site was always clean. I'd like to slag other roofing companies I have used in 25 years of home ownership but I'll settle with saying that working with Amilcar was by far the most pleasant.

Oxxo did a great job. Very reliable and gave us a good price. They came on time and cleaned up their mess. They are good people. I would highly recommend them.

I wanded to say to sr.EE midtown the accidents happen does not mean that they do know what they doing... Amilcar and Cris they are young but professional ...they did a GREAT job on my roof ..answered all my questions with education.. fineshed the work on time,clean no mess excellent... I called OXXO ROOFING 11:00 pm because my sister was with water at home, 11:30 pm they were at my sister's house to fix the work that had been done by others...thank you guys continue your excellent work....

new flat and shingles roof.Amilcar and Cris and his crew worked hard to finish the job professionally and on time.The crew worked diligenlty through out the day without any unecessary banter or blasting music and answerd any of my questions in a respectful and pleasant manner.This says alot about the owner who was always easy to get a hold of and very straightforward. Now only a thing i didn t understand because people that say still exists that OXXO no and a good company some thing stranger if it passed..... Congratulations OXXO and continue with good works!...

THE GOOD.... - Amilcar and Cris (owners of OXXO) used the sales tactic of providing the lowest cost quote to reslope and redo my flat roof. As you’ll see, I ended up learning the hard way, “you get what you pay for”. - Very prompt in returning my phone calls THE BAD.... - The job start date was delayed by a couple of weeks and the re-roofing job ended up taking about four days to do (it should have taken only two) - The problems started when it rained heavily overnight in the middle of the roofing job - Because they didn’t tarp the roof overnight, there was leaking inside the house - They offered to get the interior damage fixed by contractors they knew, while wanting to be immediately paid for the roofing job - To OXXO’s credit, they accepted my demand to go through their insurance company for the repairs and that I would hold back payment for their reroof work until the interior damage was fixed; I needed to holdback payment, as their insurance company told me that they wouldn’t pay 100% of the damage - After the overnight rain and leaking incident, OXXO finished off the flat roof and claimed the roof was now water tight - As you can see in Picture #1, there was water dripping into the eaves from UNDERNEATH the top flat roof layer. - In other words, there was water now trapped inside the flat roof because OXXO applied the top roofing layer while the roof was still wet after the rainfall, sealing in the moisture; OXXO just said this will eventually dry out AND THE UGLY.... - After the completion of the roofing job, within a couple of months there were 2 more leaks, which OXXO’s insurance company refused to cover. The insurance company would only cover the first leak during the OXXO installation. - I didn’t ask OXXO to come back and fix these 2 leaks, because I didn’t want them near my roof anymore….they’ve done enough damage - As a result of these new leaks, I got two independent roofing inspector reports which indicated: a) The top flat roofing layer installed by OXXO was not adhering to the plywood (See Picture #2) b) Many flat roofing joints were coming apart because they were not torched down properly by OXXO (See Picture #3) c) Where the newly installed flat roof meets the shingles, rather than overlapping the joint with new shingles and a water/ice shield, OXXO just simply caulked the joint d) There is staining on the stucco exterior because of leaking from underneath the soffits (See Picture #4) - Here are two quotes, one from each of the two roof inspection reports 1) “The roof has deficiencies in its application consistent with poor workmanship leaving the whole roof in need of replacement” 2) “With these conditions the roof will always have problems and leak, especially where rubber butts to shingles. For the above reason, roof should be replaced” - I’m now out-of-pocket over a couple of thousand dollars to temporarily fix the roof and repair leaking damage - On top of those out-of-pocket costs, I followed the two roofing inspectors’ recommendations and replaced OXXO’s roof. - I chose new roofers through Homestars again…it cost me a lot more than OXXO but again “you get what you pay for” - The new roofers showed us (See Picture #5): a) The “new” plywood installed by OXXO was covered in mould because of water trapped inside the flat roof. Recall, OXXO had applied the top roofing layer while the roof was still wet after the rain damage b) OXXO had simply installed the “new” plywood on top of the old roofing layers. OXXO said they would strip the old roof layers back to original plywood which they obviously did not - Luckily I end up not paying OXXO for their hack job. Having their insurance company take so long to settle a claim allowed me to holdback payment to OXXO, long enough for the subsequent roofing problems to appear. - On a final note, Cris from OXXO called me with a swearing barrage and a threat to sue for payment for their defective roof.

The quote from OXXO was the least expensive of the four quotes I received. Better than that, Amilcar and his team were polite, fast, clean, did quality work, and charged exactly what they quoted. When one piece of the work wasn't done quite how I envisioned it, Amilcar said "no problem" and re-did it on the same day with no argument or issue whatsoever. FANTASTIC!
