We had a few renovations done in our home and wanted to upgrade our service and install a few potlights etc. - larry upgraded our service from 100 amp to 200 - they installed potlights in our kitchen and dinning area - potlight in the shower aswell - replaced a few sockets and installed GFCI outlets in the washrooms - moved a light switch - and installed a chandelier Overall, we are very happy with the work done, once our basement is finished, we will call Larry again.

Larry and his team were punctual, efficient and very professional. They completed the job in a a timely way, cleaned up after and were obliging and pleasant all the way through. Larry returned calls promptly and made every effort to accommodate my timeline. I was extremely satisfied with the work and have no hesitation recommending Larry to anyone looking for a professional electrician.

Larry and his crew did some extensive work on our home including: - re-wiring & removing all knob & tube - installation of 15 + potlights - hardwiring smoke/co2 detectors They were prompt and always followed up with a call to ensure we were happy with their work. Have already called them again to do extra work on the kitchen and would do so again.

Larry and his crew did a good job. We called them to come veiw the job, and while Larry came to veiw the job, his suggestions and experience had given me enough confidence to choose them to work on our house. They upgraded our service from 100 Amps to 200 amps, they removed the knob and tube wiring in the house, rewired the house, installed outlets and GFCI outlets in the kitchen and bathrooms, installed light fixtures and a few undercabinet lights. They had given us such a detailed quote and to my happines, they did every item on the qoute.

My wife and i recently bought a house and the home inspector informed us that 50% of the house was knob and tube. we got onto homestars and got quotes from various electricians from this site. amongst all of them hc electrical had a reasonable qoute and we were confident in their skills. overall they did a good job, we are glad we made use of their services.

Larry was very impressionable from the day he came to quote the job. He knew what we wanted to install in the house once the knob and tube had been removed. He assured us that he has worked in houses similar to us and that was evident in the quality of his work. He and his assistants did a good job. The work was done to code and the house passed inspection. They did not make any holes in the walls, nor was the house dirty when they worked. HC Electrical is a company i will refer to all homeowners wanting to remove knob and tube and rewire the house. Thanks guys.

I am very glad in my decision to used HC Electrical to wire our newly renovated 3 bedroom house and basement. Their quote was the best option from the different contractors we approached. He and his assistants wired the house, installed pot lights in our living room, dinning area and living room. He also installed some dimmers and timers. There was some delay during the renovations from the other contractors and I was concerned if the wiring will be done in time for christmas. Larry and his assistants arrived much earlier and left later to ensure the house was done on time. Larry communicates well and kept me updated on the progress being made, he made some good suggestions whenever I still needed to decide on what fixtures and smoke detectors to use in my house. Overall, it was a great experience and i recommend him to anybody.

Larry and his assistant rewired my light socket which was located on a very tall ceiling. He managed to get it working through an ingenious method of using putting together a hybrid light socket, using the old socket as a base and the new one as another part. I would highly recommend HC Electrical services to my friends.

I decided to make use of HC electrical services after receiving several other qoutes on the job. Not only were they propmpt and communicated well with me and my wife on the questions we had, their qoute was also within my budget. I had work done on the first and second floors of my house as well as in the basement. They also installed a new panel. I am most impressed with their work, they did not make any holes in my walls, they arrived on time as arranged and larry overall left a good impression. The quality of his work is exceptional.

In June my wife and I purchased a 100 year old home that was in need of MAJOR renovations. The home was 80% knob and tube wiring and therefore a complete re-wire (including a new panel), new lighting and other work was necessary. After meeting with and getting quotes from 8 of the top 10 electricians on homestars we decided to go with Larry and his crew. Larry knows his stuff (i.e. the building/electrical code) and was the most courteous and professional contractor we had working on the house (we had 4 different contracting teams working on the house). His prices are competetive and his work is exemplary. He was always on time, did amazing work, and had all of his work completed in advance of our very tight schedule. In fact, Larry and his crew did such a great job that I've had them come back several more time for new projects related to new lighting, powering our kitchen island and other matters. I normally do not go out of my way to post reviews on sites like this but HC did such a great job that I felt I owed it to him.
