As we already explained to your husband, slider windows are designed that way to allow water penetration to a drainage channel, from there it drains towards the outside of the house, however, some of the water can stay in the channel until it dries out completely. Malfunction of the drainage can be considered when the water overflows the channel and leaks towards the inside of the house, which is not your case. The situation you describe is not a warranty matter, but if you see the water overflowing the channel and leaking inside the house, just give us a call and we will send our technician right away. All our windows are energy star rated, CSA certified and tested under different conditions. We can provide you with the test results from our Engineering department and all the specs for your slider window.
