Inch by Inch isn't just a company name, it seems to be their motto. Tony inspected a new home I purchased and did all the right things. He arrived on time, climbed up onto the roof, took multiple moisture measurements throughout the house, photographed everything and produced a 46 page inspection report onsite. He is very knowledgeable and backs all of his findings with a thorough explanation. Equally importantly, he was professional, likeable and very easy to contact. After renting out my home to tenants for a year, I returned to a disaster that required extensive repairs and cleaning. Even after the cleaning, I felt that my family's health might be compromised by moving back in without having my ductwork cleaned. I called Tony of Inch by Inch and found him very friendly on the phone. His price was reasonable and he was able to meet me on my schedule. He explained to me what he could and could not do while on site and recommended what should be done and what could be done if I wished. His report arrived promptly and when I had questions he was quick to answer them. His software generated a confusing error in punctuation, but when I pointed it out, he corrected it right away. Overall, quite satisfied.

Tony is a very experienced and knowledgeable home inspector, very service and customer oriented. He is thorough in his work, takes time to address any issues he may come accross and to explain everything to the client. We used him two times, first recommended by our real estate agent on a pre-sale inspection (we decided not to buy that house) and secondly on a house that we did buy, based on our previous positive experience. Being experienced in mold detection and having all the up to date technology available was a big plus as he was able to detect a water problem we had and that needed remedy. We would definitely use him again and recommend to anybody, friends family etc.

Tony came out to do our inspection exactly when he said he would be there. We were amazed at the professionalism and the thorough way that he went through every room of our new house. He was there for over 2.5 hours, took dozens of digital pics, and explained everything our new home would need. He even drove me home when the inspection went long and my wife had to go get the kids.
