backyard fence
I would run away from this company. They are very efficient at getting their money but their workmanship is very poor. To me, their warranty is worthless. I have spent an inordinate amount of time chasing after them to repair the crooked gate they installed and in spite of five month's of excuses and promises it has not been done. Don't let their so called association with famous contractors fool you. This is a company to avoid at all costs.

Phyllis, I apologize for any misunderstandings. Any industry that works with wood related products can verify that wood can be very unpredictable, especially when exposed to the elements. We inform our customers about the pros and cons of using pressure treated wood vs cedar wood. Ultimately, it is the customer's decision that we proceed with. Nevertheless, customer satisfaction is very imperative to us, before, during, and after installation. For that reason, we never turn our customers away and continue to look forward to resolving your fence issues.

custom fence and gates
Came recommended by a friend. Great work, great price, great clean-up, great product. Really happy with these guys, so much better than a previous experience. The fence is beautiful, done well and on time and on budget.

Cedar, iron and chainlink fencing
We chose FG Fencing on recommendation of friends who had installed a cedar fence. Our project was very large and involved many different materials, iron fencing with a a double gate and single gate, cedar fencing with a matching iron lattice and chainlink fencing. We were very happy with the final product, John and Nicole were a pleasure to deal with and scheduled the job quickly for us. I originally had concerns with the first estimator I dealt with, I was looking for insight and direction but didn't get what I needed out of the conversation. However, upon raising my concerns John came to the house personally and patiently helped me with the final design questions, his insights were very helpful. I found John to be very professional and the website is a great way to track your project.

Pressure treated fence
The service on the phone was great and a rep was quick to come for a quote (Tony). The job was done quickly and I like that you can check the status online. However, the spacing between the slats was way off on many sections of the fence and correspondence via email was poor. I had a few questions and concerns that weren't being answered and the job didn't actually finish for 2 months because I was still waiting for the problems to be fixed. I also feel it was the rep's job to let me know that I may want to consider leveling my ground prior to the fence being built. I now have it gradually decreasing in height with the exception of one section that levels off.

Some common concerns that we encounter in our industry, do need special consideration, and we need to adjust our installation methods, such as stepping the fence down to accommodate the natural and necessary sloping for water drainage. I'm glad that we were able to meet again and resolve any minor issues. Customer satisfaction is our main concern.

Replacement of Fences & Gates
Extremely satisfied with not only the quality of workmanship but also the superior quality of customer service that FG Fencing extended to us. Our project grew from a simple single section of fence to 5 neighbours all replacing their fences and gates. John Guglielmi and Nicole Anozie were excellent to deal with. Their estimator came out to quote on the initial job and while he was here we asked him for a what if scenario for the whole job. We had the reply the same day. Nicole step in and took care of the administrative side and we were scheduled for a start date. Their on-line system allowed us to follow the progress of the various permits and locates that were required. A phone call from them the day before to confirm the start time was great. Their crew arrived exactly when they said they would. A quick 5 minute job briefing with us to explain what would happen was welcome and the speed with which they worked was was phenomenal. As they progressed I noticed a change I wanted to have them do, no problem said the foreman. I called the office just in case and pleased to hear "already got it, no problem". The old fences were removed, the new ones installed and everything was cleaned up and our property hasn't looked this good in 25 years. No muss, no fuss just a great experience.

Remove old fences and install new wood fence, install new gates ; plus install a new section of steel fence on the property
John Guglielmi provided me with at quote that I thought was reasonable. We had signed a contract early in the summer; but I did not want the job to be commenced until the fall. Prior to the commencement date, I was notified that the job will start 1 day later than the agreed date. The crew of 2 was truly amazing!!! They removed the old fence and set new posts on the first day. On the second day, that completed the fences, install 2 gates in the drive area, 1 wood door and the steel fence. They were very thorough in their clean up. Very, very professional and efficient.

Side-yard Fence
First and foremost, I must say that John was absolutely amazing to work with as he had answered all my questions and concerns prior to have my fence built. I must have emailed him about 20x with questions about fence heights and styles and he was there to answer everyone of them. I live on a corner lot and so the bylaws for a fence are slightly different for a non-corner lot home and John was there to inform me of what I should and should not do with my fence. He told me what I needed to hear, and not fed me what I wanted to hear. What I truly appreciated what that he explained everything to me in a very welcoming and professional manner. You know how there are those guys who know what they are talking about and they treat you like you’re a fool for asking questions? Well, John was the complete opposite to that as he always made me feel comfortable in asking what I didn’t understand. Secondly, and not any less amazing, were the installation crew. They showed up when they said they’d show up and they did an excellent job of building the fence. They too were very welcoming of my questions. Let me also mention that as they were done installing the posts on the first day, they took a few minutes to sweep the sidewalk in front of my house of any dirt that kicked up as a result of digging the post holes! Honestly, who does that these days? Only people that take pride in what they do, that’s who!! FG Fencing did an excellent job and I will be calling them again next year for a fence on the other side of my home. Thanks guys.

Fence Project- wood and iron
Hi John, I just wanted to tell you that My wife and I are so pleased with our new fences. We have had numerous compliments from neighbors and friends. As one neighbor put it- "it adds a lot of class to the neighborhood." You notice a big difference when it's done professionally. Our old wooden fence was really falling apart so we went wood surrounding our backyard and wrought iron running along the front of the house. What a big difference! it looks amazing! Please pass along my thanks to Tony for handling the business side of things and Nicole for keeping me updated. And of course to your professional team ..Attila and the others who did such a remarkable job. You guys are the best! Thanks. Pierre

Chainlink fence
We got a dog in the winter and needed to replace the fence in our back yard. After getting multiple quotes, we decided to go with FG because they had the best pricing and could complete the yard as soon as the ground thawed. The workers were early, fast, efficient and did a great job even with grades. Also removal and disposal of the existing fence was included in the price. We recommend FG and I have to some coworkers who've had bad fencing contractors issues before. Steph and Uta Scarborough

Back yard fence
I wanted to let everyone know how super professional John and his crew are! We had an existing fence on our right side and FG matched it perfectly and also took great care of us by answer all of our questions. The install was only two days! FG cleaned our backyard of all debris. We are very happy and will highly recommend them!
