Review from HomeOwner Review left on 2 Feb 2015Rating: 5 out of 5We really enjoy living in our new, light and bright Mosaic town home. It is well built, and we appreciated all the help and information that the Sales people were able to provide for us as we were going through the decision process to buy, as well as the time between our purchase of the home until our move-in date. The light interior is a joy to live in even on rainy days. We also found that the few items that needed to be addressed upon move-in were dealt with in a timely manner, and in a professional way by the construction staff. Mosaic is clearly a builder that cares about customer satisfaction, and we are truly appreciative of this. A very positive experience.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Being a Mosaic Home owner myself, it was with great excitement that I encouraged my parents, who live out of country to look at the Fremont Green development by Mosaic Homes. To my delight they were equally as thrilled with the service and quality of construction the homes offer. Needless to say the deal was signed and they are slated to move in this spring. Mosaic is a developer who offer homes that pay attention to the little details that count! Whether it be their impeccable landscape design, large windows which flood the interior with natural light, high end finishes and under mount cabinet sensored lighting in the ensuite. Their developments are not just houses, they are homes!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

TJ and I were thrilled with the idea of purchasing a home at York by MOSAIC due to the price related to other town homes in the Langley area. We looked for over a year to find the right fit for us and our budget and are very satisfied with our new home. We especially LOVE our new beautiful white kitchen and counter tops, the archway separating the dining room and living room, the massive mirror in our ensuite bathroom and the fact that our home feels more spacious than a lot of the other townhomes we looked at before deciding York was the fit for us. I would even suggest that the quality of the construction exceeded our expectations. Our Realtor, who has been around, even said he was surprised with the quality of the work and the standards Mosaic clearly follows. We had some flooring with scratches in it and they even noticed the issue and had the problem solved before I even had a chance to voice my concern during our walk through. These are the type of people we have been working with since the very beginning and as first time home buyers with no experience we are very thankful for the way we have been treated. The Homeowner Care Team has been just shy of amazing the entire process of purchasing and moving into our home at York. Even from the corresponding process before the opening day everyone I spoke with was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable with all of our (my) millions of questions. After moving in, we have still had excellent service as our questions and concerns are always answered promptly which is very reassuring. Overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase and would recommend MOSAIC Homes to our friends, family and colleagues!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Mosaic delivered to me the Unit way ahead of the original completion date so I saved some money for storing our goods, and started enjoying the place early. There are at least three things that I like in our Mosaic Home. The vaulted ceiling, the glass windows where we enjoy the mountain view on the Northwest side, and lighting fixtures of the unit. For the past two Sundays my wife and I invited our family and friends for our home dedication. They like the place and the unit and everything in it. We recommended to them to live here as well so they can feel the same way as we do in our new home. The quality of construction meets our expectation. As a matter of fact we haven't seen any issue during the orientation. During moving in we accidentally scratched the main door; Mosaic placed a green sticker on it meaning they will restore it. Good service.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We purchased a Mosaic home back in 2008 at TATE in Langley. From start to finish the service has been excellent, with Mosaic’s homeowner care team taking care of us well after our move in. We’re very happy with the quality, design and layout of our home. This is definitely a company that we have recommended to friends and family, in fact a coworker just purchased at York in Langley another MOSAIC property.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

My husband and I purchased a home at Metro as a pre-sale and moved in, in May 2014. We're very happy with the design of the home. The floorplan is really unique and has lots of storage, which we were looking for. The head office team handling the paperwork was great, and made completion of the sale seamless with a last minute addition of an extra parking stall. We have since referred friends to Mosaic and they're also very happy with their home. I will definitely purchase with Mosaic again in the future.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

This company is awful! We bought a new home in Port Coquitlam believing like most that the product was a cut above other developers. We could not have been more wrong. Every person that we have had dealings with from sales to customer care to trades has been terrible. They will tell you what you want to hear to sell a home, you sign a contract and you're forgotten. We, like many reviewers, have had issues with the our home. Mosaic has promised to fix the issues but to date has not bothered to schedule anything. I regret buying with Mosaic and wished I would have gone with a more reputable builder. If you read this and are thinking of buying a mosaic home, I'll I can say is buyer beware.Answer from pro:

These guys are Bait and switch pros!!! All I can say is not to buy a prebuild from this builder, and warn anyone that may be interested of the issues not repaired."Answer from pro:
MOSAIC Homes has spent considerable time attempting to satisfy this homeowner, addressing their concerns. MOSAIC is confident in all its communications during the sales process. Regarding the tile work, MOSAIC purposefully does not seal some tile work due to the ongoing maintenance burden this places on homeowners. Leaving select tile unsealed allows a homeowner to decide how they would like to maintain their tile work. Lastly, MOSAIC works extremely hard to ensure homes are delivered to our highest standards when a new homeowner moves into their home. At times, this requires addressing completed areas of a home that doesn't meet MOSAIC's standards. Sometimes this work takes place just prior to a homeowner's possession.

At first my relationship with Mosaic was great. Their sales team bent over backwards to get me into one of their houses. I didn't have the deposit for the prebuild they needed and they went above and beyond to work something out with me so I could still purchase. The buying process, walkthrough, and all things related went well. I'm happy with the place, windows aren't leaking or anything crazy like that. However, once it came time to do the year end warrenty work I hit problems. It took 5 months for them to do the minor drywall repairs. I kept hearing about how busy they were. The gentleman who I did the walkthrough with was very knowledgable, and pointed out lots of things that Mosaic would fix at the 1 year warrenty deadline. Now that deadline has passed and besides the drywall which I wouldn't let them forget about they haven't done anything. Everytime I e-mailed to book an appointment the same guy came out within a week but he would look at what needed to be done, not actually do anything. I mentioned exterior paint being damaged during construction, he made a comment that he would have to find exterior paint and that was it. I haven't heard anything. The icing on my cake is this weird sound I get when running the ensuite tap. It sounds like dripping in the wall but there's no proof (not yet) of water leaking. They won't fix it. Overall I'm on the fence. Their after purchase service isn't very good but all my problems are minor, nothing serious. If you bought a home that came with more serious deficiencies I think they would take you more seriously but I don't know. I'm on the fence about recommending them. Their sales team is great and their prices are too, but much like buying a car the real test is the service department.Answer from pro:
