    windows and doors

    windows were measured and delivered in a very timely manner. we have worked with them twice so far. great job. We have recommended them to several people, friends and neighbours. I would continue to do so.

    Windows & Doors

    I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the window/door replacement that your company recently completed. From the initial visit by your salesman Bill D to the actual installation crew that showed up and completed the job in the allotted two days. I own a 1927 home and it had many challenges for the crew especially during the 3 door replacements. They assessed the situation quickly and in the end it turned out better than I had anticipated. I now have windows and doors that shut properly and will keep my home warm in the winter and cool in the summer! Thanks to everyone that dealt with this project at Quality Home Improvements!

    Windows and Siding

    Quality Home Improvements replaced our windows and cedar shake siding and did a wonderful job. Friendly, caring service from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was honest and up-front. Windows were beautiful, area around construction was cleaned up and vacuumed. We recommend QHI without hesitation! ~M&L Taylor

    Siding and windows

    We are returning customers of QHI after they installed new windows last year. Now was the time for siding replacement and QHI did a great job……..from service to selection to finished job, we are very pleased. Mike and Kevin were outstanding……Kevin worked a whole day in pouring rain because he wanted to finish the job. We will be return customers of QHI when the next job is decided. Thanks to all, Great job!!

    Windows, Siding & Doors - Coquitlam

    I would highly recommend Quality Home Improvements for any new door, window or siding requirements. They recently upgraded 2 of our rental homes and church with quality products. Their pricing was very competitive and performed the work in a very timely manner. Their on site workers were very cooperative/approachable and removed all debris during the project. Their sales rep Bill Davidson was very good to deal with. Any issues were dealt with quickly.

    window installation

    I chose Quality Home improvements because they offered a good price . The installer came as scheduled, and did the work promptly. I am happy with the windows. However, the installer did carelessly left some mess and did not point out a deficiency on a window screen.

    New window install

    I recently had 3 new windows installed in my home by QHI. The job was unsatisfactory from quote to finish. The salesman assured me that there was lots of time for the install would happen during the 2 week time frame necessary. He also guaranteed that the walls would be left in "ready for paint" condition. When the installer arrived for final pre-order measurements he told me that no, they are not drywallers etc. and it is basically my problem. After a one month delay, the job starts. I pointed out during the process that there were some deficiencies. I was told that I am mistaken and the install finishes. When I contacted the manager and pointed out my concerns and the fact that I had pictures to prove them, a re-install was scheduled. The job foreman contacted me and told me the job was done correctly, then admitted shortcuts were taken but it was OK and finally agreed that yes, it needed to be redone. On the second install, during the window removal, it was discovered that adjacent wiring had been completely compromised and had been left as a dangerous fire hazard. The manager was on site and seemed apologetic and knowledgable about correct building practices but only stayed for part of the job. The completion was again second rate and a third install was needed on one window to complete the job correctly. In summary, while the VinylTek windows are a great product, the install was not left as promised, was 5 weeks later than needed and the installers either not properly trained or just prone to shortcuts when they feel the homeowner not knowledgable about the process. The manager did his best to try to make it right but I would never recommend this company to anyone.

    Window installation

    I had my windows recently upgraded and couldn't be happier with the service or results. From the initial visit to the final followup, the whole crew was punctual, professional, hardworking and very effective. Some problems cropped up with the way my old windows had been done, and the crew dealt very effectively with repairs that hadn't been anticipated. There were other extras as well: all window coverings were placed back and the house was restored to order after the job was done. Bravo! I would heartily and universally recommend this company!

    window replacement

    windows ok, some damage left after installation poor communication between company and client, messages left instead of direct communication, they did not make terms of payment clear and then sent email saying they would take dire action over a 950 dollar payment that was less than 2 weeks after installation.

    Hello Charles. Thanks for taking the time to post a review. It is customary for a contractor to be paid upon substantial completion of the contracted work – in your case, the installation of new windows on April 2nd. Customers are legally allowed to hold back 10% for up to 40 days from substantial completion as insurance in case something goes wrong, but are otherwise required to pay (there was never any mention of a statutory hold back to our office or our sales representative). These payment terms are very clear on our installation contract, which you signed. In the very rare circumstance that our client is unable to pay us immediately upon completion of their project, we take the usual measures to attempt to collect. In your case, a number of polite requests for payment were made by our staff both by telephone and by email. On April 2nd we were told that the cheque was in the mail. Last week after following up again by email and phone, we were notified that the cheque had been put in the mail on April 11th. We just received this yesterday.     Windows, Insulation, Ventilation and Vinyl Siding

    Hey Quality, Thank you guys so much for all the great work done at our house! Thanks to our new windows and insulation we no longer have a draft in our house! I am happy to say I turned the heat down significantly last night & for once was actually warm in our house! We cant wait until the siding is done and our exterior house renovations are complete. We cannot thank you guys enough for how great our house looks. I would highly recommend you guys to anyone looking to do upgrades to their house. Thanks again!
