What started as ceiling asbestos removal (which is already not small) snowballed really quickly into a much bigger job requiring us to move out. Thankfully it turns out they do renovations too, which for this situation is amazing because coordinating another company to come in and re-build what was demolished would have been hard to coordinate, and would have kept us out of the house even longer. Having one team do the whole job end-to-end is a huge plus. My wife was 7 months pregnant at the time, so there was huge risk it wouldnt be done before she was due. Final specs of the job: -Remove 3 full ceilings and half a wall of old asbestos-ridden plaster -Demo a leaky master shower, and mold removal as applicable -Demo second washroom floor tile, and mold removal as applicable -Demo old wooden sauna, and mold removal as applicable -Rebuild everything: master shower, second washroom floor tile, all ceilings and walls and paint -Finish most the basement, which had been torn up from a recent flood.cement leveling, flooring, some insulation and drywall and paint That seems like a lot of work. And they said they would do it in 2.5 weeks. And they did. They started the exact day I wanted them to start, and finished exactly 2.5 weeks later. 2.5 weeks! The whole experience from multiple initial consults with Robert to working with Gerard and his guys Alan and Roger was a solid experience. These are salt-of-the-earth guys who just want to do a really good job. The quality of the work (from what I can tell) is high, done fast and on time, at a cost that was perfectly fair. You almost never get all three without compromise. Templar as a company right now is perfectly scaled. The two co-founders are hands-on enough to manage and schedule their teams work effectively, but its not so big as there is a lot of extra staff and overhead costs that are then passed on to the consumer. It was an amazing experience overall. I took a huge risk with them and it paid off. Would definitely recommend especially for larger jobs like mine. All the best to team Templar!

I spoke with Robert about our need prior to demolishing our home and he is candid and knowledgeable. He referred us to speak to a third party inspector to complete the required report first, and then after the report was done, he was able to review the report and give us a quote on asbestos abatement. The work was scheduled very quickly and completed in good workmanship. He also responded to our inquiries quickly and patiently. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

The home inspector found asbestos lining in my fathers floor registers and to my suprise I found some in my house as well. Robert at templar environmental arranged for the removal within 3 days of calling him. The service was fast and efficient. Now I can breathe a lot easier knowing my family is safe. A few short years ago I noticed a musty smell in my basement. The house is older so not knowing how to manage the issue myself, I did some research and found that Templar Environmental Services was quite positively reviewed. Robert answered my call directly and personally visited my house to locate the problem. He found an area of mould and developed a plan immediately. His team came to the house as discussed and in a timely manner. I found the team to have been not only efficient but proactive in their methods to ensure they resolved the entire issue. Following the job I asked if and how I could paint the area and they advised me of the appropriate way to do it and suggested products that could be used. I followed all the instructions and now after a few years since Templar did the job, I still notice how clean and fresh the area is. Robert and his team were excellent from start to end of the job. He came by for the estimate - confirming the scope and what was needed as well as recommending best practices for asbestos abatement. We had the popcorn ceilings removed in the living , family and foyer, and some unexpected linoleum in the family and kitchen as well. His team was quick and made sure I was satisfied with the work. The price was reasonable and was happy that we removed it from our home swiftly and safely. Thanks again !

Templar Environmental was one of two companies recommended to us by our fuel oil supplier when it became necessary to have the hard asbestos coating on our furnace boiler removed. There was no contest; the other company could not match Templar on online reviews, speed of site inspection, or explanations. The work was done quickly, carefully, and efficiently; and although we had worried about potential damage to the boiler, our furnace technician came after the work had been done and declared the boiler to be entirely intact and functioning as before. A job well done!
