    Asbestos boiler coating

    Templar Environmental was one of two companies recommended to us by our fuel oil supplier when it became necessary to have the hard asbestos coating on our furnace boiler removed. There was no contest; the other company could not match Templar on online reviews, speed of site inspection, or explanations. The work was done quickly, carefully, and efficiently; and although we had worried about potential damage to the boiler, our furnace technician came after the work had been done and declared the boiler to be entirely intact and functioning as before. A job well done!

    There's a reason Templar is a Best of Winner!

    No one wants to hear they have asbestos in their home. As we prepared my father's home for sale, we learned from a pre-inspection that the vents had been lined with sheets of asbestos. It was a common insulator in homes the 60s and 70s, however for safety sake we wanted it removed before listing the house. I was given Templar's contact information and once I saw they were on HomeStars (and a best of winner), I felt relieved it was a reputable company. Robert, the owner, took my call immediately and explained how they work. He offered to address this urgent issue the next day. His team of two came with hazmat suits and requested we leave the home while they worked. Three hours later the work was done in 15 vents and photos documenting the work were taken. Thank you Robert and team for the thorough and efficient work! What a relief.

    Asbestos test

    From my first phone call, Robert was helpful, informative and reassuring. He didn't push Templar services but informed me what we should look for in our search for an asbestos abatement company. Visiting our home for the tests, he was very thorough, answered all our questions and offered advice going forward, leaving us feeling confident in how to proceed. The results were returned within a few days. We would highly recommend Templar.

    Exceptional Service

    I was referred Templar Environmental Services by a friend. I was referred Templar Environmental Services by a friend when I had an inspection done and mold was found in my attic. Robert contacted me in a very timely manner and set up a time to come take a look at our attic. He was very thorough and took pictures of the mold and explained what needed to be done to remove it. I was given a fair quote and agreed to have the service done. Within days 2 representatives came to remove the mold. They were prompt, friendly, professional and clean. They showed me pictures of the areas before and after. There was absolutely no mess or trace of them being there. I would highly recommend Templar Environmental Services.

    Vermiculite removal

    Templar was great to work with, removing vermiculite from our cottage ceiling. They were flexible on timing as we were juggling other services as well. The men were polite and helpful. Performed their work efficiently and quickly. And the price was very reasonable!!! I would highly recommend using the Templar team.

    Excellent Customer Service

    My experience with Templar Environmental Services was excellent. Robert came and did a thorough evaluation provided me with a quote and outlined what was required. Gerrard followed up prior to the start of the mold remediation date and reviewed the details. Joe and the crew arrived on time and finished the job with great efficiency. They came into some issues as my home is 100 years old and contact me right away. They kept me up-to-date throughout the day and did a wonderful job. They left my place tidy, and I would highly recommend them for any mold remediation job.

    Asbestos testing

    We had recently started repairs in our 1950s home. I learned after about asbestos in plaster and joint compound. I was stressed and wanted to get testing done ASAP. I had already contacted a different company, but after reading the positive reviews on HomeStars, I felt Templar was more experienced and decided to switch. I called Robert on a holiday Friday. He was very informative over the phone. He made me feel more at ease and booked to see us the next day. He assessed every material that I was concerned about in multiple rooms. He was very knowledgeable and honest about everything. I had the test results in 2 days (all negative thankfully!) Also, Templar's prices were better than the other contractor I got pricing from. Overall, I had a great experience with Templar and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks again, Robert!

    Asbestos analysis

    We wanted to make some changes in our older Toronto home and became concerned that there may be asbestos in our plaster. Robert answered our request for quote promptly. He was very thorough in knowing what we wanted done and why and was very clear in his recommending and explaining the services he offered. He did not try to upsell us. When we decided to proceed, Robert showed up promptly to take the samples, having a look at all the areas we wanted tested and explaining the lab process. He sent us the lab report after a couple of days and we discussed it over the phone. Robert was both reassuring and clear in his advice for next steps. I would not hesitate to recommend Templar.
