    Mould removal from multiple rooms in a bungalow

    I called Templar in to do a very difficult job where mould had spread to multiple rooms. They arrived promptly, analyzed and set up a near immediate start-time. They handled the job in a most professional manner. The mould was removed completely, which was no small task. It had spread to some walls, closets, around windows, and in cupboards. The team who did the job were not only diligent, but careful and kind, in deference to the family living in the home. I was very impressed by Robert, who came to do the initial analysis, and Gerrard, who came to do in-depth investigation and who oversaw the team's work. The treatment and education of the family living there was sensitive and compassionate. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs such work done. Professionalism and integrity are to be found here.

    Asbestos removal

    The company did a great job at my church. So I used them for my mom's house. They came on time and did the job and left the basement clean. The heating company needed to know who did the job for the safety of their workers. And were glad that the removal was done by professonals

    Furnace Room

    Our 60 year old furnace finally needed to be replace (i.e. died the week before Thanksgiving) and before it could be removed, the asbestos on some of the duct work and furnace needed to be removed first. I call a few companies and Templar wasn't first on my list because I was going with reputable local companies. When one of those companies inspected my place and said they couldn't complete the job in our time frame as they had other jobs lined up. They recommended Templar because they worked with them before. I gave Robert (Templar) a call and he got everything lined up and squeezed our job between other jobs because the temperature was dropping outside. David (an employee of Templar) did a fantastic job. He made sure everything was done to our satisfaction and then some. Talk about good customer service!! There is no doubt in my mind that I would call them again should I ever need their services again in the future.

    Basement demolition and mould removal

    The work the crew did was as expected, with Dave outlining what was to be done and a high level of responsiveness to questions. When there is demolition, there are always surprises and my surprise was a leaky pipe. The crew did what they could to mitigate the problem, which was to turn off the water. All good. What was a bit of a problem was the fact that I, as the homeowner, was not notified directly of the fact that the water was off. Another family member who didn't really have the scope to understand the implications of it all. When I got home late from work, I was surprised by this news. I called Dave and he immediately responded and explained the situation, apologizing for not having told me directly. All other interactions were very good.

    Asbestos testing

    We were renovating a kitchen in an early 1900’s home and had a couple different layers of plaster in the home as well as some evidence from a leftover USG plaster bag that there was the possibility of asbestos in one of the layers. We called around to see who could come out quickly on or right after the labour day weekend and give us 24 hour results for a good price and Robert was quickly our best option. He came on time and was happy to take samples of whatever we wanted done from our home. One sample did have to be recollected but he quickly came back out and made sure he got another one in to the lab so we could again have next day results. In the end he was also fair on the price when we overlooked testing a layer of plaster and he came out for a third time to make sure we were fully satisfied everything we wanted tested was done. We also appreciated that he sent the original copy of the asbestos report from the lab to us that we could see everything for ourselves. Thanks Robert!

    Trustworthy and fair price

    Robert is an honest, trustworthy, professional and his services are fair priced. Two samples were not tested during the initial analysis, but he was kind enough to sample it again at no cost. Arrived a little bit late during our first meeting, but everything else was excellent.

    Asbestos abatement

    Removed popcorn ceiling that tested positive for asbestos, removed insulation and reinsulated. Completely satisfied with services received.

    Mold Assessment

    Robert from Templar Mould provided a very quick response and assessment of mold around a pipe in our basement. He considered the mold to be not a very serious case (in accord with another assessment that we had on the previous day from a different company). He pointed out the options that we could implement on our own if we wished. Based upon these two assessments we decided that no professional company action was required. We much appreciated Robert’s honesty and expertise. In an area such as mold removal, where seniors such as us could be easily misled, HomeStars provided us with two companies that supplied objective assessments that were not at all self serving.

    Asbestos Removal

    Professional workers that care about doing quality work. The work was done very fast without a hitch. I'm extremely happy to have found them. Best asbestos removers in Toronto and the GTA.

    Asbestos abatement

    I was very pleased with the work done by Robert and his team. They were very quick on scheduling an appointment to assess the scope of work and provide a quote. When the team came to remove the asbestos they were punctual, knowledgeable and very professional. They worked very hard. We were not at the house the days that they performed the work but were provided with updates to the progress. Air quality tests passed without issue. We have already recommended Templar to our neighbours and will continue to recommend them.
