Vlad patiently worked with us to design what ultimately exceeded our expectations. Vlad is patient, organized and meticulous. We plan to ask Vlad to do our dining room as well.

We hired Vlad to do some trim work and custom cabinetry in our bathroom and laundry room. He also re-framed some doors in our 100 year old house to make them perfectly square. He did a fantastic job. He is meticulous and takes pride in his work. He is responsive and punctual. We would definitely hire Vlad again for additional projects.

We were in dire need of storage. You know, the closets look like they're about to explode and spew sweater shrapnel everywhere- that kind of storage. . We found Vlad here at homestars and were very impressed with the pictures of his work and equally impressed with the positive reviews he has received. Vlad was great. He called us back right away and he came over very soon after. We discussed our space and our options and ended up with a great plan of attack for our space. The project was to have custom built in shelves, drawers, cabinets and an office area with drawers for hanging files and more shelving. Everything came together beautifully. We are so happy! Vlad installed all our crown moulding, baseboard, shoe mould, interior doors and hardware, closet shelves and rods, window casing and custom medicine cabinet. My wife and I have been living through a complete home renovation for about 14 months now, and we’ve had our share of both good and bad contractors. When we finally approached the finish line, we called and met with a few finishing contractors. Vlad was by far the most experienced and his pricing was very competitive. We had Vlad do custom wainscoting going up our stairs, hang all of the wood doors that we purchased for the rooms, and closets, do the base boards, wainscoting in our dining room, and build a closet under our stairs and build custom cabinets beside our fire place. Vlad took about 10 days to do a job that would have taken me 3 months; he listened to our wants and implemented them into the design. He was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to any one of my friends. Vlad, I’ll have more pictures to you soon. Side note – the best deal I could find on the Lumber and Doors was at Rex Lumber in Mississauga, they had the best selection and the best prices. Thanks, Dave and Cindy

What an amazing craftsman! Vlad blew us away with his skill and eye for detail. He was polite, efficient, stayed right on budget and we couldn't be happier. We had Vlad build us some built-in cabinets and a mantle in our living room. He was able to take our verbal requests and follow through exactly the way we had envisioned the project. We live in a very old home with many quirks. Vlad was able to work around them with unbelievable ease. We would love to work with him again and would recommend him in a heartbeat!

We couldn't be happier with the work that Vlad did for us. The 12-ft wide floor-to-ceiling wall unit and separate desk area turned out even better than we had envisioned. Vlad was extremely reliable and conscientious. He came out to talk about the project the same day that I first contacted him and spent a lot of time taking detailed measurements and going over the drawings meticulously with me in order to give a proper estimate. Vlad stayed on budget and delivered the final product on the exact day that he promised. His turn around time was quite short - we had the cabinets installed in less than a month from when we handed him the deposit. It was very evident that Vlad is extremely conscientious about his work and takes great pride in what he does. His attention to detail shows in the final product, and his experience helped in the formation of our design. Vlad is professional, polite, and kept the work area tidy. Everyone who sees our built-ins asks for his card, and I would highly recommend Vlad to anyone.
