    Duct Cleaning

This is my second time using Canaduct Cleaning. This time Paul came with an associate. They were very thorough and knowledgable, and their prices are competitive. I think they might have expanded the services they offer.

    Answer from pro:

Your are correct, Sarah. We expanded our services to include HRV & furnace/AC coil cleaning. And don't forget, for your mechanical HVAC needs, be sure to contact our sister company, Heating Ontario.

    Duct Cleaning

The technicians came within the given time frame. They were friendly and polite. I appreciated them letting us know they wouldn't be able to remove some of the vents without causing damage to our older home. They also helped move a bit of furniture while I dealt with my baby and dog. I did not see the before and after, but I trust it is much cleaner than before. We will see Canaduct in 4 years!

    Answer from pro:

Just to be clear, Canaduct does not travel to Nepean. With good fortune, we look forward to revisiting your home when we are all 4 years older.

Duct, Dryer, Furnace/AC Coil Cleaning + Sanitizing

Truly amazing performance from Paul and Noam. These gentlemen were not only professional and efficient in their efforts to achieve perfection (which they did!) but they are also very engaging and personable. It is so obvious that they enjoy the work they do. It is so refreshing to meet employees that sing words of praise for the employer, and deliver an honest service precisely as advertised and at a very good price. Great work gentleman. Stay proud.

    Answer from pro:

Can't get reviews any better than this. "He who hath eyes to see, let him see." Tina obviously grasps the full scope and efforts of the team headed up by Paul Barret. There may be an puron leak in the AC which she will address using the services of our sister company, Heating Ontario.

    Duct Cleaning

We had our entire homes ducts cleaned and were very happy with the service. They even checked our furnace and humidifier and replaced the filters which we hadn't done yet for the spring. This saved us the time to go out and buy and replace the filters ourselves.

    Answer from pro:

Aw c'mon Mary, you can bring this score up to a 10. I know you can! We performed a PERFECT service and my mom told me I'm absolutely perfect. Please, please!? OK, enough comedy and begging. An 8 score is great and indeed we are grateful. See you in a few years...you're still on our good-guy list.

    Duct Cleaning

The two gentlemen from Canaduct were very personable, professional and competent. I would recommend their service wholeheartedly. They were also able to offer additional services at a reasonable cost which I will consider for the future. Great job!

    Answer from pro:

Thank you so much Private User. Our technicians and staff, especially Lina, our receptionist (she is so wonderful!!) are most grateful for this review.

    Duct cleaning

Paul was cordial and prompt. They took a photo of the inside of the ducts which I thought was valuable. The service did not take up too much time and I did get the sanitizer as well. Would use them again!

    Answer from pro:

We are so pleased that you stated we didn't take up too much time. On occasion, we receive the complaint that we didn't spend enough time. Go figure. I guess we'll never get it right, so long as we're dealing with the unpredictability of human nature. Oh well. We are confident that we ALWAYS do it right, as all our customers are treated with equal respect and receive due diligence. Thank you so much, Paul (...my namesake!)

    Duct cleaning

They did the duct cleaning as expected, it is not a rocket science and some people do it for cheap and i decided to pay more and get it done from a company who had good reviews on HomeStars, and they did what was expected, what turned me off was when they up sold me for furnace service for $150. I regretted it later on because it took him 5-10 minutes to service which only required using a tooth brush, some liquid and scrubbing on some part, thats it. $150 for that? Now I regret calling them at first place.

    Answer from pro:

It is clear that you were in attendance to WITNESS ONLY ONE (Step 7) OF THE 10 STEPS required to effect a thorough furnace/AC coil cleaning which would require your undivided attendance & attention for about 15 - 20 minutes.  Step 1: While 8" vacuum is hooked up to supply run, inducer & blower motors are blown out with high pressured air, using caution not to damage igniter switch. Burners follow using the same procedure with reduced air pressure. Step 2: AC coil is accessed above or below, gently blown out with reduced air pressure, scraped clean with wire brush, sprayed with AC condenser coil cleaner/disinfectant, then scraped and blown out again. Step 3: Portal is most commonly resealed with a new galvanized steel plate, new screws and aluminum foil tape. Step 4: 8" vacuum hose is brought down to combustion chamber and blower compartment. No damage is effected using reduced air pressure to gently blow clean all wires and connections and computer mother board. Step 5: Upper & lower chamber floors are blown clean with high pressure air. Step 6: HVAC approved cleaning solution is sprayed onto floors, walls, blower housing, on & inside burners, then wiped clean with shop towel. Step 7: Cleaner is applied cautiously to all wired connections and burners. Using a brush, all components are gently scrubbed, then wiped clean with a shop towel.   THIS IS THE ONLY STEP YOU WITNESSED. Step 8: Connections & safety switch are inspected for security and positioning. Step 9:  Front and back surfaces of upper & lower compartment doors are sprayed with cleaner, wiped clean, then refitted. Stage 10:  Furnace or AC is turned on to check that HVAC unit is functioning well.

    Duct Cleaning, Sanitization

Paul was very professional. He explained the procedure with experience and thoroughness. Recommended only the services required, and showed what was still in good shape. His helper (Noam ?) was also very cheerful and efficient. I have used Canaduct before with another crew, and they were equally as professional.

    Answer from pro:

Honesty should not be a rarity in business or in one's personal interactions. We advise ONLY those services that are deemed an "as-needed basis" offering a priority rating as well, and Andrew is obviously astute in recognizing our position. It's got us this far on the HomeStars market, so we'll continue to do what we're doing. My regards Andrew and God Bless you.
