I spoke to herb on the phone, he came out took a look and emailed me a quote. His guys showed up when promised and did the work in the time promised. the work was done perfectly and we had absolutely no issues. it was that easy. I usually don't give reviews on this site but I have to give credit where credit is due.

My job was completed back in April 2010. Herb was amazing to deal with. He is very personal and professional. The installer arrived at our home on time (even earlier than Herb told us). He had the two columns installed on time. He even gave us advise on what type of paint to use, etc. We are very happy with the work and would recommend to anyone looking to install exterior columns.

While his company was not the lowest bid, his detailed quote with sizing, and pricing along with their client education gave us confidence in our due diligence. On the day of the install, the courteous Capital Columns and Trim crew showed up on time and worked according to schedule. At end of the project, the worksite was immaculate. Definitely a worthwhile investment. We’re generally not the type to give referrals but we’re so happy with the gorgeous work done by Capital Columns and Trim that we’d definitely recommend them.

After which we booked a personal visit for measurements. The salesman was quite friendly and very informative. We were considering vinyl railing for the porch and instead went with no maintenance PVC porch railing which means less work for us which we appreciate. Their column selection is elegant and the quote for both was satisfactory to us and the install went ahead without incident. Herb was professional and knowledgeable and gave us many options to consider at the price range we were looking at. It was great to realize the choices he gave us. We went with Permacast column and Square wood for Outdoors & Indoors The day of the install the crew was well-mannered and professional, spotless, and did a great job. They drew me in at every step of the way making sure there were going to be no surprises. I would without doubt go to them again.

In my opinion, Capital Columns and Trim’s team gave me the greatest price for products and services based on the prices I received from other companies. Since deciding to award my business to Capital Columns and Trim I did not regret it. The workmanship’s superb. The time they took to finish the job was less then they originally said which was amazing. I am very happy with the product. When they finished the work, they tidied up afterward. Good and Tidy. We were so impressed with the pricing that we requested something additional work after work had already begun. They immediately acquired & installed the changes we requested. Capital Columns and Trim was is the only company that we didn't have to clean up after. They cleaned up when they were finished the work. And they used drop cloths to contain the mess. When Herb finished the installation they walked me through the beautiful work. We’ve had a few companies coming through my house lately, Capital Columns and Trim was the best.
