I bought a 3 story town. Unfortunately this builder is by far the worst ive dealt with and ive dealth with quite a few. Picture every worst customer service, sales and ownership put into one company. My experience stated with Gail. Nice when the sale was made. An absolute fake there after. She will give you attitude and untruthful to brush you off and get you off her back. The builder refers all contact to her most likely because they knew she s rude enough to deter people. Most of the other staff ignore all contact. Service centre trailer has some of the rudest staff Ive met. You will always be wrong to them and will take about 2 years to see them actually move to correct deficiencies. Choose another builder so you wont be 2.5 years delayed just because the owner would rather see you back out of the sale, only to resell at a higher value.

I held of writing a review until after my home was complete. The staff at CGH know the reviews that are being written. Theres not much they can do but try to bend the truth to avoid the reaction of angry buyers who purchased from an old idi0tic man (Jack or do you call yourself John? - make up your mind). After waiting close to 4 years (roughly 3 yrs in delays), I moved in. It was a mess I must say but recently they have turned things around. It may be pressure from City officials or letting got of a few staff members who dont pull their weight. The whole process did involve a lot of L|es and well, angry staff members and sales agent who were not always up front. I would never recommend this builder. Quality is always going to be sub par with contractors. The builder is absolutely embarrassing. Current philosophy of the owner is to delay years in hopes of purchasers backing out, in order to sell for a higher value.

This builder has proven to be horrible in every way. Not only was our home delayed for over a year past the original date, after closing, the builder is completely unresponsive when trying we are trying to address on-going issues with the quality of the workman ship. missing kitchen cupboards, loose flooring, horribly done trim work, paint missing/different colors, issues with lights. When you do get someone in, they do a half job and you have to start all over again with trying to get them back in to do something properly. the site is a total mess all the time, no roads, grass, curbs with some of our neighbours living there for over a year with none of these things - what a horrible decision it was to go with this builder - STAY AWAY

I live in the Parkside/Sadielou subdivision. We moved in Aug 2012. Although thankfully we have not had issues with the house itself, the site is a disaster. We still have not had grading signed off on, the roads have not been paved. There are cracked sidewalks and crumbling curbs. We can't finish our driveways because of that. There are weeds 4 feet tall in all the public spaces. Maintenance shows up once or twice a year. The city has not been able to take over as the site is not considered completed despite of two complete phases being at that location. A neighbor of ours had a major foundation issues and they would NOT fix it. Had to take the builder to court. Two years and a ton of money. Almost lost his house. STAY AWAY!

I bought an urban town from Country Green Homes in July 2014 and I am still waiting!!!!! It was supposed to be ready in 2015. It will be over 3 YEARS of waiting and they could care less. They make up stories blaming City Hall for delays when in FACT it was their own errors. Now, just as we are finally a couple months from completion, they delete major upgrades saying they can't be done. Don't believe a word they say!!!!! AVOID this company!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a town home in Waterdown and I can honestly say that Country Green is a complete joke. It will be about 3 1/2 years between the time I purchased and the closing. Their customer service is non-existent, barely doing what's legally required, informing me of one delay one weeks for the close (there's been another delay since). They're not upfront or honest about the dates they provide, preferring to blame the trades (for a 3 1/2 year delay!?!?) Also, my building will be one of the last unit to close, and the builder has started to cut corners by putting in smaller windows and cheap'ing out on exterior brick (instead of stone). When I complained (to no avail), they could not offer any rational explanation for doing so, they actually said smaller windows were a more desirable feature, pathetic!

Very disappointed from all aspects of this so called builder Extremely long delays, poor customer service from the sales rep to the owner and every one else in between. Its not a cohesive group and almost like no one wants to take charge and be honest with customers as honesty may result in telling buyers they will be waiting for years to come. Quality of the home is like many others. Cheaply built with sloppy work. But hey thats contractors. I gave an 1 star because they actually built my home after 2 years.

The negative reviews are absolutely 100% true. Unbelievably long delays with no reason other than the Builder just not caring and A sales rep who is nice 1 minute and ready to flip the next for asking for simple answers. Unlike a ton of purchasers, I did finally move in. Terribly constructed home. Im not sure if its the contractors and trying to catch up or just no quality assurance on the builders part. Dry wall was never sanded or poorly sanded, crooked walls, no sound proofing and poor insulation. Cheap everything! Would I recommend using this builder? Never. Whatever the sales rep tells you, the opposite is actually true Good luck neighbors

I wish I never have to deal with anyone affiliated with Country Green Homes again. Karma, thats all I can say to each and everyone of you that decided to treat your customers like garbage. You egos need a reality check - you attempt to build homes, nothing more. Youre homes that you have completed are completed junk. Nothing positive to say. Potential buyers - look elsewhere

Hi all! There is no point in discussing even further how disappointed and frustrating this entire process with country green homes is, because there are literally, no more words for this. I to am waiting for my house which was purchased in February 2014 and fear I will not be moving into until probably the end of summer 2017 (how? I have no idea). I would love to chat with some of you. I have created a Facebook group so we can all discuss and keep each other up-to date,. After all, we will be neighbors.. eventually... hopefully.
