A bit late with my review but I had to make sure I posted just how happy I am with the service provided by Archie and his team. In November I had all the windows on the main floor, two on the upper, and the front and back doors all replaced. In addition, I had the back door moved which required brickwork. Sobol was on time and on budget. Exactly what you want from a contractor I had about 5-6 contractors come and quote. Sobol was competitive with the all the professional companies out there. They are not a fly-by-night cheap job type company. They offered good value for my investment. Archie took the time to go over options, explaining where a retrofit vs a brick mould install would be better. He was very accommodating with the number of times I changed my mind on certain aspects of the project and was quick to update any changes to the quotes I requested. His team were very friendly and personable. They kept the project space very clean at all times. My house is finally draft free and warm!! I would absolutely recommend Sobol and will use them for any future projects.

We loved these guys. They were thorough, friendly, and we trusted them. Our patio door looks great and we are so happy with the transome that Archie recommended for us. We will get them back to our place when it's time to replace all our windows!

I contacted Sobol on my neighbours recommendation to have windows replaced throughout my townhouse. As soon as contacted, Archie came over a few days later, was helpful in recommending best options, not necessarily most expensive options. Installation took place in January, during the polar vortex! In spite of the weather, it proceeded without delay. Was surprisingly painless. The team was efficient, courteous and friendly, cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day, and got the job done within the 3 days they were scheduled for. All in all, a very good experience. I would recommend Sobol to anyone looking for windows or doors.

This charming knowledgeable team from beginning to end, inside and out, did an 'A' job. Forecasts / words good on everything! They cared, were conscientious , took pride. Very easy to recommend.

I called Sobol on the recommendation of my sister who recently had all her windows and doors replaced by them. Archie came to take measurements and discuss our needs. I noticed his attention to detail when he spent a lot more time looking at our oddly sized back door, taking many more measurements than other companies did. He provided a very detailed quote a couple of days later. The door and window were ready when they said they'd be and we were promptly booked for installation. The installers did a great job but when I noticed a slight issue with the door sweep a couple of days later, Archie quickly came back to make it right.

This company replaced our sliding glass doors to the deck 3 years ago. They have great customer service, answer all emails promptly and are very knowledgeable. If the project lasts more than one day, your house is left clean and free of tools and construction waste at the end of each day. On the first day of this retrofit, Archiel contacted me to let me know that there was less work than expected and that he would revise the price. It was over $1000 cheaper than we had planned. Many contractors would have been tempted to not do the work and just pocket the money. You can count on Sobol to provide excellent workmanship, attention to detail and high efficiency Energy Star rated windows. You will also find their prices extremely competitive. I recommend them whole heartedly.
