I hired James and his team to move a 1937 baby grand that I am restoring so it was a very important move for me. I have nothing but excellent things to say! 1) James and his team were early, on one of the hottest days of the year! They were professional, and expedient and really knew what they were doing. 3 people to move a grand is necessary, so don't hire a company that promises to do it with less. They did a great job of getting the piano out of the sellers house and into my house within the time frame quoted. This involved navigating a difficult corner and stairs - not a scratch on anything! 2) James had excellent advice for me about the next steps for the piano - which is invaluable in my estimation 3) Tuning after the move a few weeks later, James did an analysis of the piano and provided me with excellent advice about which path to take with the restoration 4) I enthusiastically recommend James for any of your piano needs. I'm hiring him again to tune my mom's piano as a Christmas present for her.

The work was well done with great care, on time and scope as per discussed, with no issues at all.

Was somewhat skeptical when I saw the truck-- open pickup. However James and his very strong 3 young men were extremely careful and very quickly removed the piano from the house. The piano was wrapped and secured in the truck. Getting the piano into the new house was a bit of a challenge as it had to go down a very narrow set of 13 wooden stairs and then through a sliding door. No problem. Took about 30 minutes to get in. No damage to anything. Clean, efficient and courteous. The best quote I got and 4 workers instead of 3. Thanks. Love my piano in its new home.

James responded quickly to my email. The piano had to be moved out from the second floor of a house to the ground floor of another house. James and his team showed up when they said they would. They put down runners to protect the floor and carpets. The actual moving of the piano went smoothly and quickly, end to end. James and the other men were pleasant to deal with.
