    Brick Pointing

    Tony, Crystal, and the Straight Up team were so easy to deal with... clean, timely, always easy to get a hold of and straight forward with answers to questions. Most importantly, they delivered excellent results without moving from the original quote. Highly recommended.

    Replace window sills and Chimney tuck pointing

    Tony was a pleasure to deal with. the job was professionally done and finished as promised. the clean up was amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend Straight Up Masonry to friends and family for all masonry related projects.

    Chimney repair

    Very professional. Gave estimate in timely manner and work was completed as scheduled. I will definitely use Straight Up Masonry for any other work we need completed. I now have total confidence in them. Didn't even know they'd been here, clean-up was so good. Thanks to all three!!

    Removal of chimney

    I called Straight Up and Tony, Crystal and the crew were so professional and prompt. We have a home about 50+ years old. Visually from the ground you could see that the chimney was in rough shape. Tony came out and emailed me a very exceptional quote. I okayed the work to be done with Crystal who is so professional and nice and very helpful. She scheduled me in the following week. I wasn't home because of obligations but when I got home the work was completed as ordered and the area around my home and my neighbours was completely clean of any/all debris. They removed the old chimney and capped it. Prior to the work being done we had rain water drip down the old chimney. Since the guys at Straight Up removed the chimney and capped it the area is completely dry. All I'd like to say, if you need "lasting foundation or beautiful facelift" call Crystal and Tony. I'm actually scheduling them to do additional work in my garage(new pad) and reno the porch. I can't say enough good things about this company. Thank you Straight Up.

    Tuckpointing

    Brickwork needed tuckpointing in some areas. Straight Up identified areas in need and provided fair estimate. Work completed as agreed and in a timely manner. Cannot see any difference between existing and new tuckpointing. Very easy to work with.

    Chimney Re-build

    The chimney on our 100 year old home needed a complete re-build. I contacted Straight-Up after reading several reviews on this site. Crystal had Tony come and take a look within a couple of days of my call. Tony recommended a style and colour of brick which would match well with the rest of our home. The quote was more than fair and we chose to go ahead with the work. Straight-Up made an effort to schedule the work as soon as possible. When the build was finished, Daryl had me climb up onto the roof to see their work.The quality of the build is incredible. Jesse and Daryl are true professionals who take immense pride in their work. They are also very considerate.They even made a point of asking me if it was OK to leave the scaffolding up til the next morning, so they could finish up. And the final clean-up was immaculate. We couldn't be happier with the end result! I would highly recommend Straight-Up Masonry to anyone considering masonry work on their own home.

    Brick wall repair

    Exterior brick repair

    I called 3 of the top companies listed in Homestars for a quote to repair some bricks at my mom's house which had been damaged during the ice storm. Company #1 said the job was too small for them to come by - their minimum job was $1800. Company 2 and 3 came promptly and provided an estimate. We went with Tony from Straight Up Masonry as it was the most reasonable estimate. My mom, who isn't always comfortable with people she doesn't know, found Tony to be courteous and helpful. Work couldn't be started right away as it was dependent on the weather. Tony contacted me to schedule work at the first forecast for a dry and warmer day. He sent 2 guys over within the hour that he said they would arrive and the repair work was completed in about 3 hours. I wasn't at my mom's place during this, but she said the guys were very nice, did good work and didn't leave a mess behind. They even filled in some cracks by her bedroom window sill as part of the service. Thank you to the team at Straight Up Masonry!

    chimany repair

    Our chimney was falling apart. We called Straight Up Masonry and they were prompt, professional and skilled with rebuilding our chimney. Thanks Straight Up - we will call you back if we ever need any masonry work done in the future.

    Brick and Mortar Repair

    We hired Tony and his crew to repair mortar and bricks on our entire semi-detached house in Riverdale. Tony was very professional and personable. His crew were excellent in cleaning up at the end of each day and were back at it first thing in the morning. If you need any type of brick work, I would highly recommend Straight Up Masonry.
