    front patio and walkway

    Daimon was incredibly customer service focused very helpful with the design and problem solving that always goes along with these types of projects. His team did very good work, was very responsive to our needs and often went beyond the call. Overall, they were very professional completing the work on time and on budget. We are so pleased with the results. Would highly recommend them.

    Back yard renovation

    Ashlar Landscapes removed all existing pavers from our patio and the original stone surrounds of our two small gardens, replacing with ones of our choice. All work was carried out skillfully and professionally and always felt they were open to questions and suggestions. Ashlar Landscapes came recommended to us by our neighbours and we, in turn, would highly recommend them to others.

    Front and back yard walkway/patio and landscaping

    Last summer in the front of our house we had a garden, walkway and porch installed with natural stone. The side of our house we had river rock and stepping stones and the backyard we had a stone patio installed. Daimon and his crew were well organized, professional and provided frequent updates and made sure to contact us prior to the installation date to ensure we had everything we needed. Daimon listened to what we wanted, made well informed suggestions and provided us with places to go and visit to make sure we liked the material prior to purchase. Daimon visited the site daily and provided us with updates from the day as well and let us know what would happen the following day We made frequent changes/requests and he made sure everything was done and once the job was done, time was spent cleaning up the place and making sure everything was put back to the original location. I would highly recommend Ashlar Landscapes and when we require additional work we will definitely give them a call back.

    Backyard patio and retaining walls

    This is a long overdue review. This is the second time we have worked with Damon and his team. This time the project involved a rebuild of our backyard and retaining walls. Damon, as always provided great insight and expertise related to design and materials. He is a pleasure to work with and we would, have and will continue to recommend Ashlar Landscapes.

    Back yard landscaping and stonework

    We are extremely happy with the work done by Daimon and his crew – leveling of our yard and installation of a retaining wall, re-sodding, installing a new flowerbed and lifting and resetting stonework. I was sold on Daimon and Ashler Landscapes from the day he came by to review the project and give us a quote. We received several quotes and his was extremely reasonable. More important to us, throughout the project he made excellent suggestions and was able to clearly explain why he would or would not do certain things. He did not try to sell us something we didn’t need and did not cut corners on quality. He was extremely patient and supported us throughout the process. Any issues or concerns were quickly addressed and resolved. His team was amazing – respectful, hard-working, timely, and experienced. We highly recommend Daimon and his team and look forward to work with them again on our next projects.

    Front and backyard landscaping and stonework

    Damon and his crew did an excellent job on our landscaping work. Damon provided suggestions for shrubbery and tree arrangements based on the layout of our home and recommended work that should be/ should not be done. He was quite responsive to our inquiries and has a patient demeanour. His expertise in horticulture was a great benefit when laying out the shrubbery for our landscaping, The only issue we had was that most of the shrubbery that was planted died shortly after. However this is not Ashlar's responsibility but their vendor's. The upside to this was Ashlar's one year warranty on all plants, trees, shrubs and Damon has offered to come back in the spring and replace all the dead green work. He already replaced 2 plants and they died but he said its not a problem he will do everything in the spring. It was a pleasure work with Damon and Ashlar and we would highly recommend him to others.

    Backyard patio

    We were very impressed with Daimon's professionalism and workmanship. During the course of the project Daimon always returned our calls and emails and was extremely pleasant to work with. We received quotes from other landscaping companies but found that Daimon's quote was the most reasonable for the work that was required. Also, Daimon willingly accepted the project while other landscapers declined due the smaller scale of the project.

    Front and back yard landscaping

    We have just recently finished an addition to the back of our house this summer and now came time to clean up the yards. We had used Ashlar landscaping about 5 years ago when we originally purchased our house so we called Daimon up again mid season as we liked his work previously. He was able to fit us in late summer and did a full rehaul of our front and back yard. For the back yard, we had our patio relaid, slightly bigger, privacy fence and new garden beds. The front included a new, much larger landing from our door with different sets of stairs and walkways as well as a new raised garden bed. We looked to Daimon for suggestions and recommendations and after some discussion, his team were right to work. In the end, the final product is amazing and really accents the new look of our house. As with his first project on our house, his staff were on time, left the site tidy and were very respectful of our neighbours. Thanks again for all your great work.

    Patio, walkway and landscaping

    Once again, Ashlar Landscaping did a very good job for us. They had done the walkway and steps to our front door a few years ago and we hired them again to do the walkway on the side of the house, our backyard patio and some landscaping. Daimon worked with us to design and cost the job and his experience helped us make some difficult decision for the side of the house. His crew was very professional, always on time, worked hard and paid attention to detail. The final price was exactly as estimated, there were no surprises. We are very pleased with the result and especially the patio which looks exactly the way we wanted. We will definitely hire them again if needed and highly recommend them.

    Interlocking and landscaping

    Ashlar Landscapes did an amazing job on our interlocking and landscaping project for both the front and backyard. Damon has excellent design ideas. Our seat wall in the garden bed adds a great touch to the whole design. Daimon consulted with us on all matters and always made sure we were fully satisfied as the project was executed. The crew was fantastic; very polite, tidy and hardworking. With no hesitation, we strongly recommend Ashlar Landscapes.
