I am very satisfied with the service and dependability of Daimon and his crew at Ashlar. Daimon is very easy to talk to and strives to make the customer feel as comfortable and satisfied as humanly possible.

Daimon and team did a great job with the patio stone work at our house. They were able to stay on schedule and made a few other fixes that came up along the way. I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking for assistance in this area.

Initially we weren’t entirely sure if we were going to approach a landscape contractor to undertake our backyard project, or potentially tackle it on our own. Being “do-it-yourself” types, we researched what was involved; including material pricing, installation practices, and tools required. Clearly we were in over our heads and needed some professional help. We found Ashlar Landscapes on Homestars along with a few other landscape contractors in order to gather some pricing and lend some advice and design perspective to what we already had established. Daimon without question was the most professional and detail oriented contractor, giving us numerous valuable suggestions on the design and material selection. Daimon recommended us to a few landscape dealers close to home in order to get a better sense of material colors, sizes, and textures, which ultimately let us pinpoint the look we were going for. We requested some minor alterations while the work was being done, which Daimon was happy to accommodate. Daimon and his crew always made sure that the work areas were clean and organized before they left for the day, which we also really appreciated! Our new backyard landscape including a patio with seat walls and some garden beds & planting is even better than we enviosioned. Thanks again Daimon for all your hard-work & dedication!

Patio & Armour Stone We contacted Ashlar Landscapes to design and build a backyard project that included a patio, stairs, armour stones, and some garden bed work. We weren’t entirely sure what we were looking for in terms of a design and material selection. Daimon provided us with several different options and alternatives throughout the process which helped us with the whole decision making process. His desire to exceed his customers expectations was evident in his attention to detail and communication. We were also really pleased with his flexibility, allowing us to make small changes as the job progressed. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product and will certainly engage him again next year to work on our front yard. Thanks again Daimon. Highly Recommended!!!

Last summer we had the pleasure of working with Daimon on our backyard project. We found Daimon to be very professional and proficient at his trade. The project was completed on time and on budget, with a fabulous circular patio surrounded by armour stone as the end result. Daimon was aware of our budget and made great suggestions as to how to keep the costs under control. We would highly recommend Ashlar.

We found Ashlar Landscapes on Homestars. Ashlar was one of four companies to give us quotes for our project. Daimon was by far the most professional, approachable and thorough of the four contractors we met. The project consisted of widening the driveway and landscaping the front yard. We worked with an architect who created the plan, but Ashlar was the company who brought the project to fruition. Daimon suggested changes to the plan as he saw fit. With his knowledge and experience in this field, his recommendations were completely appropriate and often even better than the architect's drawing. Definitely would recommend Daimon's company to others and will hope to work with him again in the future.

Ashlar Landscapes did a great job at our home. They made good suggestions and helped us to decide how we wanted the job done. They recommended the most suitable options for colours, size and type of interlocking and stone. Also, they did the job on time once they started. We understand that their job depends on the weather, so the start date was delayed, but it was not up to them. We like very much the finishing and even our neighbours liked it!

After getting quotes from several companies we decided to use Ashlar Landscapes. Daimon was very thorough with his quote down to every last detail of what would be done on the job. Daimon was very personable and answered any questions we had before, during and after the job. Will definitely use Daimons services again in the future.

We found Daimon on the Homestars site last fall. We called him and he came over to discuss our project for the spring. My husband and I were impressed with his friendly yet professional manner. He not only gave us very good suggestions but also educated us on product and design. He later sent us a quote and we booked a date for the spring of 2011. Daimon called in the spring and took measurements. He completed the work when he said he would and the results were beautiful. We have a new walkway and two garden beds. So many neighbours have stopped to tell us how great it looks. I would definitely recommendAshlar Landscapes (and I don't recommend very many people!) Excellent work, good communication, good value and trustworthy-what more can you ask for?

Daimon installed the front entrance steps and walkway, as well the back yard patio for us this spring. He and his guys were great to work with. We are happy with the result.
