I sent out an inquiry through Homestars to a few companies, a couple amongst the top rated here. John was the one who responded back timely; he understood the importance of timing in our project and was able to fit us in within a few days. Although he did not see the project, he gave me an estimation (and a reasonable one) over the phone which he confirmed and respected in the end. He arrived on time and changed wiring to accommodate a new oven. He also changed all plugs and switches in the kitchen. John and his crew cleaned up after themselves and overall we are very happy with the work. I would recommend John and will definitely use him again.

He took my job on short notice, gave a quote that he stuck to, did the job fast and to excellent standards. I even had a little more to do than when I first contacted him, but they worked fast and efficiently.

John was very professional and he and his assistant did a thorough job. They arrived on time and completed the work on one day. We have not had any problems with any of the items since.

I wanted an ESA licensed electrician to come in and wire an electrical outlet on my garage ceiling. The existing opener was using a very long extension cord. To prepare for a new opener, I wanted to follow code and use an outlet right there on the ceiling. I also wanted a control switch to be able to turn off power to the opener (long story behind this request). I called the top guns. One responded quickly, but was busy with a job and might not be able to come out for 2 weeks. John responded the same day, and came by to do the job the same day. He was very personable, and knew his stuff. In a couple of hours, he did a job that I was very happy with. And his price was quite reasonable, I think.

John is simply put amazing. He promptly returned my email when no one else would even look at me. He promptly came over to give us a very reasonably price on the work that was to be done. Much better than any of the others that came to give us a quote. He and his team arrived on time and completed all the work in 1 day!! 7 Pot lights 20 feet of under cabinet lighting 3 Bedroom light fixtures. Relocated light switch Place was nicely cleaned up and there was no mess!

Very professional service. John checked over my basement wiring which had been installed decades ago by the previous owner. He determined which outlets needed to be improved/changed/ rewired. Also upgraded several upstairs outlets which were outdated or non-functional. All his work passed the electrical inspection and we're very happy with the results

It's been months since John installed my exterior pot lights. Never had issues with the lights or timer, very good workmanship. Greatly admired by my neighbors, one of my friend who saw it also had his home done by John. I would recommend A & J / Babus Elctric and will call John again to replace the standard halogen lights with LEDs.

We emailed John in the am, he called soon after on the same day came that pm gave us the cost and completed the job in the afternoon. He even took time to replace a faulty plug on my extension cord. I called to see if someone could come the next day to fix a light switch that wasn't wired properly to a new light fixture I'd installed. Turned out they could come that night, and the guy who came was extremely respectful -- even asking if it was okay to check an outlet in the bedroom before he went in. Better yet, when he was checking a switch, a previous contractor's crappy work blew up in his face and he fixed it for me, even though it wasn't his fault.
