I called John and on the same day, in between jobs, he popped in to see us for an estimate on a small job that needed to be done quickly. His price was reasonable and he did the work right away! He then had to rush off to two more jobs, but he is extremely knowledgeable, courteous and his son Tim is the best apprentice. Thank you John and Tim for helping us out in a pinch - we'll be calling you again (with more notice) for the next job!

We live in a condo with concrete ceilings. Electrically challenging. John, added the necessary conduit to install our fan and kitchen light. He also installed pot lights in our bedrooms. Most importantly he made sure we were completely satisfied with his work. Would highly recommend. Thanks John.

I concur with the reviews below... John (Ion) was helpful, friendly and patient throughout our project, even when frustrations with other contractors on the job arose. Gave us a very competitive quote and provided a copy of his licence and insurance unprompted. He was upfront about not having installed a control panel like ours before (Hayward P4 ProLogic), and he paid for an ESA consult beforehand to ensure he was getting it right. Passed the inspection with flying colours. Would highly recommend. Thanks John.

John was great in his installation - well-mannered, patient, and calm. We messaged briefly and he even confirmed when he would be coming. He was on time and very quick. I would recommend him for any quick installation you have.

I called John to provide a quote to replace my electrical panel. While looking at the wiring John realized that there was an issue with the wiring as a surrounding metal stud had become electrified! Without hesitating John grabbed his tools and meter and started to diagnose what was causing the issue. After about 1 hour he was able to figure out that a screw had been put into the framing and had pierced a wire causing the entire area to become electrified. I truly appreciated the fact that John did the 'right thing' by helping me during a very scary situation. He did not ask for money or refuse to help - he just did it as he knew that it was a dangerous situation for my family and I. Did I mention that he did this on a Friday evening at 6pm - when most people would have just wanted to go home! The kicker is that his quote to change the panel was very competitive. I would go to John again without hesitation based on the quality of work and his personal ethics.

John was an absolute dream to work with. He diagnosed the problem as a wiring issue even when the manufacturer insisted that it was a faulty part. Saved me money on the part and took down my chandelier, fixed it, and put it right back up again. The kicker is that he charged less than what I paid for someone to put it up in the first place! I am definitely a customer for life

I wanted to install a dedicated socket for a microwave . John was very helpful. He came on time and extended a line from the Panel .. All his work was very professional, he gave me good advice regarding the home and even fixed a few things for me , which he didn't have to fix. He was truly helpful and kind. I found his quote to be very competetive .

John didn't charge us when the job didn't go as planned due to circumstances beyond his control. He worked hard to make it work, but when it was time, he was very fair and didn't charge us. In my experience this kind of integrity is rare, and I really appreciated the way he handled it. Thanks John!

John did a great job at installing a new electrical panel and breaker in my grandmother's old house, and added some new wiring as well as did a lot of troubleshooting. He made sure to check in with me when we continued to have issues (with the city power) and was available to help until our issue was fixed. John's prices were reasonable, and he was quick to call me a great furnace repairman when we needed one. John was easy to reach on the phone and by text, and returned any missed calls immediately. I would definitely recommend John Babus.

Despite the fact that we have solid concrete walls the electrician was able to re-route, replace and install new electrical cables that met the condo standards. He work was neat and we didn't have to deal with any debris. He was able to work around our schedule and we weren't inconvenience at all. He was also able to suggest less expensive parts and his suggestions saved us a lot of money.
