    Moving

When searching for movers, I found Viktoria services online with very good reviews, so I called and Rocky came to my apartment to give a free estimate. He recomended a flat rate for my move, with no extra or hidden costs, so we set a date which I have to change and they didn`t have a problem in giving another dtae. We moved on Jan 24th, one of the coldest days, and Rocky and Trevor showed up punctally and got right to work (they went for the truck very early that morning to ensure they could start the engine) They did an excelent job, fast and neat, no scratches, work very hard, didn`t stop, very friendly people. The cost was exactly what they said, anything extra. We would recomend they for sure. Andrea and Gherard

    Moving

This really was the best moving experience I've ever had. Rocky and his partner moved my mom's one-bedroom condo. They provided a very reasonable estimate and were extremely professional, friendly, and efficient. They wrapped the furniture well -- even a very unique and difficult table! -- and got everything safely to the new place in good time. Moving is always stressful, but if you want it to go as smoothly as possible, call these guys.

    Moving House and Cleaning Condo

Moved from a downtown Condo to Bloor West Village. Movers were very nice, speedy and took care of my belonging and there was no breakage or damage. Rocky, the manager provided excellent service an gave the option of a set price or hourly service. I also had my condo cleaned and they did a fantastic job... all my 15 year old appliances looked brand new again. Viktoria's service removed so much of the stress of moving. I strongly getting you old place cleaned as it make everything easier.

    Moving

Ok, so I get a call from my mover at 10:30pm the night before moving (apartment to apartment) that he's bailing on me. I'm panicked, so I start researching alternatives on homestars.ca, and get a list ready to start calling the next morning. I wake up early and start leaving messages and emails, little hope for salvation under the last-minute circumstances. I start getting replies saying "we're booked solid, sorry" until Viktoria Home Services calls me back and says they'll be here in an hour. Great! Rocky and Tebor from Viktoria show up just as fast as promised, get right to work, and literally pull my bacon out of the fire. Fast, friendly, professional, working hard with a snow storm about to hit who knows how soon. The bill was super reasonable, no hidden fees that you sometimes read about. I'd recommend these guys in a heartbeat, and since I'm planning another move in about 1 1/2 to 2 years, I know who I'm calling. I was asked to think about writing a review if I was happy with the service, but that was hardly necessary, I'm now their non-celebrity unpaid (and unasked for) spokeman. I told the Rogers guy who connected my cable that night about Viktoria, everybody at work today, and now all you fine people on the interwebz. AAAAAA++++++ In case you can't crack my Davinci Code above... ya, I'd say I'm pretty happy about the service. Thanks Rocky and Tebor!

    Moving

I've had some bad and inconsistent experiences with movers on craigslist and was extremely happy to have found homestars and Rocky & his team. I booked the move only one day ahead and based on my description Rocky recommended an hourly rate booking. The truck showed up right on time. Rocky and his team were hussling all day and dealt with our superintendent well. The move turned out to be larger than I originally described (ended up trashing more furniture) and Rocky was supportive and helpful in finishing the job, whatever it was. Closet boxes were absolutely amazing touch and made moving clothes no hassle whatsoever. Rocky disassembled some furniture and re-assembled it properly in the new house. Furniture was shrink wrapped and nothing got damaged at all!! Rocky handled everything with care. The whole experience was completely stress free for me (unlike my previous moves) and I felt Rocky was looking out for my interests rather than his own. In the end, I was billed exactly the hourly rate without any surprises and this made the whole experience a great one for me.

Moving - 900 sq ft 3 bedroom bungalow from Etobicoke to east Mississauga

We booked Viktoria only 2 weeks in advance of our move Oct 30th from Etobicoke to 15 min away in east Mississauga. A rep came to our home to provide an estimate. It was decided the best for both parties was an hourly rate for 3 men instead of flat-rate pricing. A deposit was not required. Booking was confirmed by email. For this particular move we were not charged travel time from the yard to the first home and back to the yard again from the second home. Another estimate wanted 2 hours travel time for 4 men at $150 per hour. We had been in our home 23 years and had a lot of "stuff". There was no time prior to the move to "de-junk". On our own we rented a 16' POD which sat in our driveway 3 weeks prior to the move to give us space to sort, pack and store items since the house was small with no room to spare. Part of the crew arrived on time on moving day with a 24' truck and assessed everything while the rest of the crew arrived a short time later. I had never moved before, I moved in to that house with only a suitcase from my parents home, and so many people I talked to shared stories of movers that never showed up!! I am fortunate to have only moved once and I am thankfull that it worked out well. The POD company arrived very early, although I had requested a much later pick up time, to pick up a POD that was almost empty. Rocky from Viktoria was very calm and very quickly the POD was filled while we amused and stalled the POD driver. There were a couple of staff changes during the move where for a short time there were only 2 men instead of 3. The final price reflected this fairly and accurately. Also Rocky spent some time on short phone calls and to make up for it, there was a half hour where we were charged for only 2 men instead of 3. Our initial plan was to empty the POD ourselves over the span of a few days at the new house. Thankfully Viktoria was able to empty it for us and stick with us right to the end by also setting up any dismantled furniture and beds. Only one small $34 outdoor table was damaged. There was a faux marble inlay on the top and one 2" corner broke off. No big deal, it was warped from the sun and was probably cracked anyway before being moved. Everything that I cared about was well looked after!! Viktoria works hard to maintain a very good rating on Home Stars. I don't expect to move anytime soon but I would call Viktoria again! Thank you Viktoria!

    Move from apartment to house

We had a straightforward move from 2 bedrm apartment to a 2 storey house. The guys from Viktoria movers were right on time, worked hard straight through, and wrapped up everything well taking special care with our piano. They did a great job in good time - we're very happy with their work and I will definately recommend this company to those looking for reliable, quality movers!

    Moving

We used Viktoria moving company for our move out of Toronto at the end of November. We had a number of different moving companies come by for in-home assessments but stopped looking after meeting Rocky. We continued to be impressed with the entire team on move day. We has quite large sized furniture, and maneuvering the larger pieces out of our 2nd floor apartment with no elevator was no small feat. We did have some hiccups along the way but this team worked through it and never stopped smiling. The move went smoothly in the end, everything was delivered safely, and the team ensure that all boxes were placed in the right rooms in our new home. This is a company that really treats you like family and goes above and beyond to ensure a job is done well. If we ever move again we most certainly would not trust anyone but Viktoria to the job, and will recommend them to friends/family in the future.

    1 BDRM Move

I called Rocky at Viktoria 2 days before my scheduled move date. Although it was extremely last minute, Rocky cheerfully squeezed me in for Saturday at 12PM! At exactly 12PM they pulled in to start the move. I greeted them both (Rocky and Andrew), who are really nice guys. They started with protecting everything with plastic wrap and commenced with loading all my stuff. I had a very tight space to move my king size mattress and couch, but they managed to load it all without causing any damage whatsoever. They were also kind enough to drive me to my new apartment! They final load into my new apartment went smooth (other than a neurotic elevator), and all was done within the price range I expected, no surprises. All in all, I would definitely recommend them to anyone for any moving needs!
