Canada's weather has always been mercurial and brutal. This year however proved to be a lasting and agonizing menace for our basement. Endless floods and water seepage made us anxious and worried about all the costs that would incur. After contacting Homestars for an expert in waterproofing, we were set up with Benchmark Waterproofing. Their work ethic is impeccable and diligent. They are honest, hardworking, punctual and considerate. Oh, they also offer lifetime warranty for their work!

To anyone who has a damp or leaking basement. We just had ours done by Benchmark! No more wet basement & guaranteed for life! and I can see why. They put 3 layers of protection on my basement wall and a concrete "curb" on the bottom cauce our basement was drug out and the floor was lowered, for a full basement. We had 3 other quotes for the job. 2 of them told us we needed a sump pump installed. We didn't want that! Then the 3rd one wanted to charge us extra for an engineer because our basement floor was lowered. Then Tony from benchmark came & gave us a quote, no sump pump, no engineers, no hassles just fixed and quaranteed for life. I was in construction for 15 years and I have seen good, bad, and ugly work. Thankyou Tony and Benchmark for the pleasure of seeing an awesome job on my basement wall. You guys were incredible! I bought my home a year ago. Shortly after I had moved in leaks developed from my rear wall block foundation after a regular rainfall. The previous owner said he waterproofed the the corner himself. So I called Benchmark Waterproofing and they sent their Waterproof Consultant Tony who suggested that it was necessary to do the entire rear wall and both corners wrapped around by 2 feet because a block foundation is hollow inside. I took his advice and now it's been 8 months with no leaks. I'm glad I didn't cheap out and listened to his sound advice. He was a great communicator and answered all my questions i had throughout the work. I have a lifetime warranty that came with the job. Workers were great and cleaned up well. They re-installed my interlock perfectly. Thanks for a good job

Benchmark waterproofing took on a job that other companies I consulted would not attempt, as it was too complicated. They were communicative, reliable and did the work quickly (as quickly as a very difficult job could be done) and well. I am very pleased with the service we received.

I recently had water coming into my unit and had Benchmark first asses the situation after which they gave me a very competitive estimate. Having looked at other competitors Benchmark was by far the best estimate. They did a great job waterproofing and cleaning up the process very nicely. Benchmark Waterproofing was contracted to waterproof a portion of a property of mine. They faced tricky conditions, and an unusual foundation to repair. The work was carried out as per our contract, and the site was left clean and tidy upon completion. I have not had water seepage in the basement ever since. I definitely recommend you call this company if you require any waterproofing needs.
