    Knob and tube replacement and panel update.

    Bill, Tim and Danny, were amazing!!! Tim came immediately to help us with a quote and sent us different options to manage our knob and tube issues. We also had to upgrade our fuse box and increase our wattage. I apologize for my lack of technical terms. Please do not think that this represents Knt's worth. We had several quotes but no other company came close to Knt's knowledge, professionalism and communication. Knt feels like family now! I can't express our gratitude for how hard Danny and his team worked to ensure that all of our needs were met quickly and with efficiency!!! Even our insurance broker stated to us that they had never seen such a detailed report from a master electrician, they were very impressed with Bill.

    Replace knob and tube

    KNT is prompt and professional. Any queries, you hear back from them within an hour. Their bookkeeping of the work is meticulous . Very pleased with the job. Would highly recommend them.

    Replace Knob & Tube

    Great installation which was done on time with minimal mess. Our house is now compliant with the electrical code. Very pleased with the team and all aspects of the job;.

    Fast, friendly and efficient service

    On a warm Saturday night in August the power in my home started acting funny - partially out but no other hydro outages in the area. Nothing appeared wrong with the fuse panel and flipping the breakers did nothing to correct the issue. On Monday morning I reached Bill at KNT and explained what was happening. He asked me to take a couple of pictures of the panel and explained my power comes into the house into an override box and inside that box are large "firecracker" fuses that can last for decades. Likely one of mine had blown. He sent out an electrician that afternoon and in 10 minutes the problem was resolved. The electrician even took a look at my doorbell and explained how to fix it too. KNT were the only ones to call me back quickly, they provided friendly, efficient service and estimated the costs up front and there were no surprises. Highly recommended.

    knob and tube removal

    Booked start date half a year in advance and they came as scheduled. Honest and efficient, final price was actually less than original quote, as they deduct cost of work that wasn't required. Installed 2 new ceiling fans, 2 ceiling light fixtures at no extra charge. (Just ask them beforehand and buy what you want put up). Cleaned up at end of each day, even worked through weekend. Amazing patch work and sanding so we just have to paint.(Tip: ask them to give you a sample of the drywall/plaster they cut, so paint store can try to match the paint colour and you only have to paint the patches when they are done.) Co-ordinate final inspection by ESA immediately after patchwork. So, a job i was dreading beforehand turned out very smooth. Thanks, Ryan( until wife had a newborn), Kelvin and the crew, Dan, Tim and Bill.

    Rewire house during renovation

    Danny and his team were highly highly capable, they squeezed me in during a week they were fully booked. Work included building a circuit map and rewiring the home to code. They are polite, capable and hard working. I would recommend them to friends and family anytime.

    KNT - organized, reliable, honest and courteous

    We needed the knob and tube replaced in our 110 year home in downtown Toronto. KNT was very responsive and organized from quote to completion. Tim described their process and they followed it exactly. KNT are very experienced with knob and tube removal. When the job began, they arrived on time every day, covered everything before they began and cleaned up before they left. They only made holes where necessary and they were not too big. When they finished they patched everything flawlessly. When the project was complete they compared the work completed with the quote and we ended up coming in under the quote! The crew was very polite and courteous and were happy to accommodate a few minor requests I made on top of the original quote. Everything was inspected and passed and I received all the appropriate documentation in a timely manner. I found KNT to be extremely organized, very reliable, honest and the crew was very courteous. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get some work done. Thanks KNT.

    Replace knob and tube wiring as required

    Our house is almost 100 years old and required knob and tube work to pass an ESA inspection for insurance purposes. Tim and his crew were extremely professional in providing quotes, completing the work on time and on budget and co-ordinating with the ESA to acquire the Certificate of Completion. The ESA inspector was familiar with KNT and was highly complimentary of their work.

    Pride in Workmanship and Customer Service

    KNT has customer service and workmanship down to a fine art. KNT replaced all my knob and tube wiring in my basement and first floor of my home. I found KNT through HomeStars along with several other electrical companies that specialized in knob and tube replacement. I interviewed three highly rated electrical companies. KNT was clearly the top choice. I was able to meet with Tim for a quote within a couple of days of emailing KNT. Tim provided me with a very detailed quote breaking down of each item with the specific cost within 24 hours of him visiting my home. My wife and I then visited one of his jobsites that was in the final stages. We were impressed with the quality of work. I then contacted 2 references provided by Tim. The references both gave glowing references. When Tim’s team came to my house they took care to ensure they protected all my furniture. The team was very professional and you could tell they took pride in their work. My wife and I are very pleased with both our experience with KNT and the work that they have done for us. In the future, we will definitely be having KNT back to do additional work on her home. I would strongly urge you to contact KNT before making a decision to hire an electrical company.

    Knob and Tube Replacement Project

    We were extremely happy with the work carried out by KNT Electric. Specifically: 1) All members of the company that we can into contact with were extremely professional 2) The work was carried out on time and on budget 3) The staff cleaned up each night, before they left our house 4) The staff were courteous and obliging We received what we expected from the company and they were almost 40% less expensive than the other quotations that we received!
