    Furnace Repair

    It's December, at night, and my furnace stopped working! I immediately hopped on Homestars and started calling down their list in the HVAC category but everyone I called wanted to book an appointment a day or two out. One technician, willing to come out the same night (around 7pm), wanted to charge me $175 to show up and $125 for every 30 minutes after the first 30. He said, having him come out the same night would be subject to his emergency service rates. I can't disagree with him, it's a pain in the butt to run around at night fixing people's furnaces, but I also couldn't justify paying that kind of money. So, I had pretty much resigned myself to a very cold night under as many blankets as I could scour up but something told me to try just one more call. So, I scanned down the list, saw Aire Max, and gave them a ring. The company owner, Max, answered right away, asked a few questions about my furnace (type, was the pilot light still coming on at all, etc). I answered to the best of my ability and he said, 'I'll be over in 45 minutes, I think I know what the problem is and I'll do the job for $120". Max came over that same night, on time, and quickly figured out the issue - my furnace's sensor was dirty. He scrubbed it clean, replaced it and *bam* instant heat. Thank goodness. Given the speed and ease with which Max fixed my furnace it's not uncommon to wonder if the service worth $120? Well, I think it was worth every penny. Max fixed my furnace with speed and ease because he's taken the time to learn his trade well enough that he could diagnose my issue over the phone and he got my business because he's the kind of technician willing to make a call in the evening for an affordable rate. Now, before he came over I looked up my issue online and actually figured out that there was a good chance it could be the sensor. Unfortunately, I don't know what the sensor looks like, I wouldn't have known where exactly to find it in my furnace, and chances are, if I'd risked doing it myself to save a few bucks, I could've actually made the problem worse. So, instead of mucking up the job myself I called a professional. I'd like to close off this review by thanking that professional again. Thanks Max! My furnace is still working perfectly over a week later and I greatly appreciate your time, effort, and skill. You saved me from a night of freezing. Best wishes for 2013.

    Replace fire place remote control

    Looking some body to fix my fire place through the internet,find "Aire Max",call them and after set up an appointment,technician came on time and found out that remote must be replace same day part was ready and now fire place working fine.happy to have a business with this company

    High efficiency furnace American Standard

    Aire Max heating&cooling did excellent job for replace my old furnace to new high efficiency furnace,installation was very nice and neat,after job was done,they clean every thing and explain for me every thing that I must to know for operation,new furnace is very quiet ,thanks Max

    furnace repair

    Aire Max came and fixed a water leak in my furnace. He identified where the leak was happening, ordered a part, which came in a few days later. He installed the part and made sure the furnace was working to my satisfaction. It has been a month and the furnace is not leaking and working well. Overall, Max was on time and got the job done. Thanks Max.

    HVAC: Air Blower Not Functioning

    We have a QVM9 combo heating / hot water unit, attached to a High Velocity Unit (Furnace / Air Blower). One day we woke up without heat. The QVM9 appeared to be functioning and supplied hot water fine. The issue was the Air Blower was not starting. After calling around to a few companies luckily we decided to give Aire Max a call. The technician, Max, was very eager to help and arrived at our home within 30 minutes. After working with the unit for only approx 10 minutes he had tracked down the issue to a board on the Hi Velocity system. He was able to resole the issue a short time later and even contacted distributors in case the board would need to be replaced should issues reoccur. I highly recommend Max and will definitely be calling him again for my home heating needs. Thanks a lot Max and keep up the good work.

    Furnace and Gas Fireplace Service

    I called Max to service my furnace and gas fireplace based on the rave reviews I read on Homestars. I'm glad I did. We were having problems with the furnace not coming on even when the temp in the house was way below the thermostat. Max was very thorough with his inspection, did a cleaning, fixed up the hoses running into the drain and the humidifier. Everything works great now! He also did a cleaning of our gas fireplace and checked for leaks. Max is very professional. He cleaned up everything when he was done, arrived exactly when he said he would and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Max to any of my friends and will call him again in the future.

    Gas fireplace and boiler service

    There was no heat getting to the second floor of our 90 year old house which is heated with hot water rads. We needed the system checked. We had also been putting off having our gas fireplace fixed (it was not working at all) because a technician had told us we needed a new part and it was a big expensive job. We called Max. He came the next day right on time, found that both problems could be fixed relatively easily. He was very professional, did a great job and it cost much less than we feared. Excellent!

    repair gas insert

    Max is exceptional! Friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. He figured out what was wrong with our aging gas insert--a problem missed by several other suppliers--, fixed the problem fast without the expensive part replacement mentioned by others. We're grateful we called Max. He took the time to really explore the unit and saved us a bundle of money. After a thorough cleaning of the unit, he left the fireplace unit glowing beautifully and sparkling like new. Thanks so much, Max!

    gas fireplace to clean & check

    What a pleasure to have Max Malek come up to check the problem on my gas fireplace which had stopped working a few days earlier. Firstly,he responded asap to my email message and made an appointment to come see me a day later.How often does that happen. Normally,you won`t even hear back from a company until 4/5 days later. He knows his business well, and within an hour had cleaned the fireplace thoroughly and identified the problem. There was not one bit of dust left after the vacuuming & cleaning.But the best part was the reasonable cost. Other companies I had phoned wanted an exorbitant price to just enter your home,before diagnosing anything.All in all,if you want superior communication,excellent work ethic, and great prices,CALL AIRE MAX for all your heating,fireplace,& A/C needs!     Water leaking from furnace

    We had water leaking from furnace. Found Max on the internet and after reading many excellent reviews, gave him a call. He immediately answered and even though it was Sunday he was at our place in one hour. He is very kind and friendly and most importantly was able to see what was wrong and fix the problem. We would definetely call hime again for service in the future.
