I find the contractor through church service call and was recommended by the person who used him. I find him to be trustworthy and a person who knows what he is doing. would recommend him to anybody.

We called Max after whistling noise, strange smell and finding that the house stay colder than the set temperature. He came on that day, found that it needs to replace one motor, and came back with a new motor next morning. He performed a thorough job, spending probably for 2 hours, and instructed how to maintain the furnace properly.

Max took my call in the evening and came by the next day. He texted an hour before our appointment and asked if it was okay if he came by earlier. He was courteous, helpful, and thorough. It was a new boiler and the fan was making a screeching noise when it came on and he quickly identified the motor as the culprit. He tightened some screws to secure it in place and that stopped the noise, but he also explained some of the peculiarities of our particular system. He was very thorough and hung around turning the boiler on and off a few times and listening for a while to ensure he'd done a good job. As far as I'm concerned, Max is my boiler guy now.

We woke up to a cold house and realized our furnace igniter was no longer working. After finding Max on homestars, I gave him a call and our furnace was working again 2.5 hours later. Max was courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly, made the repair without fuss and explained exactly what he did. The price was also extremely reasonable. We were very pleased and will recommend Max to friends and family in future

Cold-called Max after reading homestars to repair furnace in an increasingly cooling home. Max came, diagnosed the problem, gave me what sounded like a reasonable quote and did a great job, as quoted. Would recommend Max to anyone. He knows his stuff, very pleasant and honest.

We are so pleased to have found Max, from Aire Max, to repair/maintain our boiler. The first time Max helped was over a year ago when our boiler was "red tagged". Other companies we had called only wanted to sell us a new boiler over the phone. However, Max came that evening and assessed, serviced and tested the boiler to ensure it was working efficiently and safely. So, when our boiler suddenly stopped working a couple of days ago, I didn't hesitate to call Max. He quickly diagnosed the issue with the pump, explained it to me, tracked down the right part and installed it. Again, he saved us money by knowing that it was just one part of the pump that needed to be replaced. You don't want your furnace to die during the most brutal cold spell of the winter. Which is, of course, exactly what happened. Given the excellent ratings for Aire Max I decided to give them a try. I was impressed that Max picked up his phone right away, rather than me having to deal with some call centre. Max was friendly and told me he could come over in a couple of hours. Great! True to his word Max arrived ahead of time and went straight to work. It turned out to be a fairly minor problem and the furnace came back to life. I don't know anything about furnaces. Max could have stayed in the furnace room for hours and given me some elaborate story about big problems. Instead, he fixed the problem quickly and the rate was very reasonable. I'm grateful for that. I'd definitely recommend Aire Max to anyone. Oh, and Max does gas and air conditioners as well. In future, he'll be my go-to guy.

Max showed up within an hour of my calling him. Not only was he prompt - he was professional, courteous and honest. After a thorough inspection, he found the real problem. The furnace did not need to be replaced – only the electronic mother board. He got the replacement part and installed it – ahead of schedule and on budget. I would highly recommend Aire Max to anyone in need of emergency service. Max is prompt, professional and honest. I wish I would have called Aire Max first.
