    Washing Machine

    Very Prompt, explained the issue and quoted on the work. The invoice ended up less than initial quote. Very satisfied.

    Fridge repair

    Temperature wasn't working so the control panel needed to be replaced and the fridge defrosted.

    Appliance repair

    Our Kenmore washing machine had stopped working mid-cycle. Louis came out and quickly figured out what was wrong. He had the part on his truck and had the machine back working during the same appointment.

    Oven Repair

    I had included the Appliance Service Centre as a short list of companies I wanted to engage to troubleshoot an oven issue. I found the pricing to be similar to the other appliance repair companies I had phoned for price quotes. However the biggest factor was the Appliance Service Centre worked on Saturday at the same cost as a weekday visit. I found they had good customer service from start to finish. The technician contacted me to provide his analysis on the oven and the cost associated with the next steps. It was one of those decisions where you don't know whether or not to repair or replace the appliance as it was my rental property. I chose to repair due to minimizing the PITA factor and extra $300 it would cost to purchase new. I found the payment transaction to be smooth as well, as a company representative called to confirm method of payment, then I was sent a receipt via email.

    Fridge repair

    This was a great experience. Appliance Service Centre was easy to schedule and there when they said they would be. Great customer service, very knowledgable and extremely fair. When they found that the issue would be covered under warranty I was not even charged a service call. highly recommend this company.

    Leaky Washing Machine

    My washing machine developed a leak during the wash and spin cycles. I was unable to locate the leak however the technician that assisted us was able to identify the issue within minutes and explained step by step what he was doing and looking for. Great service, fast appointment scheduling and on time service.

    Dishwasher

    Was making a loud noise, sounded like the pump was on its way out. Engineer stripped the spray arm cleaned it and all was good. Good company could have charged for a new pump but didn't, carried out the minimum work necessary to fix.

    Service

    Washing machine wouldn't spin- technician able to fix without replacing any parts. Very professional & helpful.

    Dryer repair

    Terry was very courteous, on time and had the dryer fixed in no time at all. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbours as I feel he is very trustworthy and very likeable.

    Quote for Oven Repair

    I had a “wonderful” experience working with this company. After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to call them. They told me they couldn’t book an appointment on the phone and referred me to their website to fill out an online form. There was no mention of a service charge on the phone (although the lady who answered the call claimed she mentioned this. It is not true). They quoted me $380.97 to replace a control switch on an oven and when I decided not to go ahead with the service they sent me an invoice for $99.75! Their website is set up so the customer is able to book an appointment without being informed about a service charge. The customer is expected to click on the “About Your Appointment” tab where they mention this fee. It is the duty of the company to make it clear to the customer that there is a service charge. Not the duty of the customer to fish around their website for this information (or assume there is a charge). Most companies/contractors offer a free quote. This is standard practice. The owner admitted if it wasn’t for this charge the company would go out of business. I offered $20 as resolution (which I wasn’t obligated to pay) but this was counter-offered with $75! I am contacting a collection agency to pay the full price as I leave this comment ($99.75). I am leaving this review to warn customers not to do business with this company. APPLIANCE SERVICE CHARGE CENTRE. BULLYING CALGARY AND AREA CUSTOMERS SINCE 1956.

    The basis of your review is that you hired a company and assumed they worked for free. You've acknowledged that our rates are shown on our website. You claim that we made you book online which is false. You generously offered to pay what you felt 1 hour of a journeyman technician's time worth as well as vehicle costs should be in your mind,$20.Which clearly indicates how much you value other peoples expertise and time. You threatened us with these reviews if we pursued charging you at all so your bully reference is accurate just aimed at the wrong party. There is much more to this story and we would be happy to share it with anyone who asks. We are proud of our good reputation and work hard to live up to it. Yes we do charge for the service we provide. You threatened to and followed through with your promise to try to smear our reputation. Let the people decide who is a bully.
