    Dryer Repair

Our dryer started making a racket at which point we called ASC. They sent out a tech, Louis, who arrived on time and assessed the problem (faulty rollers I believe). We arranged another appointment for the actual repair for which Louis also arrived on time for. The dryer was fixed and my family is pleased to be wearing significantly less moist clothes. Louis was both personable and professional throughout the process. I would definitely recommend using ASC and will use them myself if and or when my next appliance starts giving us grief.

    Fridge/freezer repair

Another excellent service call! This is the second time we used them and both were excellent. Our fridge/freezer was no longer cold. I was able to give them a description of the problem and the ice build up on the vent. From this, the serviceman brought the appropriate part and was able to quickly and effectively fix our problem.

Several issues with after claiming to have repaired Dryer

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Appliance Service Centres attempt to repair a dryer. Visit 1: Repair tech claimed to be able to fix the issue, but when unsuccessful claimed it was a faulty replacement part Visit 2: Repair tech unable to repair the dryer, and requested another visit with a another repair tech to help diagnose the issue. Visit 3: 2 Repair techs were unable to repair the dryer Visit 4: Repair techs claimed to have repaired the dryer Visit 5: After two weeks the issue reappeared, and indicated that they could not repair the issue now and would have to buy a new dryer

    Answer from pro:

Bad experiences are unfortunate. You've had one and to be fair and not mislead people the total cost to you was $0. As multiple issues accumulated it was your belief that our tech should have forecasted these in advance. You exchanged emails with us using very slanderous terms to hilite your displeasure. As stated we collect no money from you as a way to appease you. Months later you booked an appointment online with us (the horrible company). Because we had noted all this on your file we politely refreshed your memory and elected to refuse service. Your response was to reply with more slanderous insults and then post this review. We will remain professional and upstanding to leave it at that.

    Washing machine repair

We received excellent service from Appliance Service Centre. On the morning of Dec. 23 we noticed a tear in the rubber seal of our front load washing machine. I went on line to book a service appointment thinking it wouldn't be fixed until after Christmas. They had open appointments on Dec. 24. Darcy was at our house at 8am on the 24th and had the seal replaced within an hour. He was very friendly and professional. We will definitely use this company again!

    Stove repair

Great job on getting the stove fixed. Either i would have to get a new stove at $900 including gst and delivery or get existing one repaired. They warranty the work for a year so if everything goes okay its good for a year. Hope i donot have to call them but if required will use them again.

    repaired fridge

John came quickly. He was very friendly and professional. He was able to fix the problem quickly and he cleaned up afterwards. A job that took him 45 minutes had been on the " honey do" list for the last 6 months. I should have called sooner.

    3 appliances worked on.

I had three appliances go wrong at the same time. Darcy showed up and fixed two of the three in rapid succession and told me to buy a new fridge because my compressor was going and that would be an expensive fix (especially considering fridge age). I was amazed that he was able to go from dishwasher to washing machine to fridge by three different companies. I will recommend these guys to friends and use them in the future.

    Maytag Maxima Washer Repair

To clean out the filter before the pump requires taking the top off the washer, then the control panel, then unscrewing the door and door locking mechanism, removing the gasket and then finally taking off the front panel. You can then simply clean out the filter... and then you have to reassemble the washer. Somehow I knocked off a wire during reassembly and the door was shut in a locked position. My prompt, cheerful, brilliant service guys from Appliance Service Centre quickly found a loose wire in the door locking mechanism and voila! I had a working washing machine. Next time, I'm just calling them and saving a LOT of time, grief and cussing at every Maytag engineer involved in this design!
