    Thorough duct cleaning should take longer than 1 hour

    Hired this company to clean our ducts which hadn't been done since we moved into this house 8 years ago. From the start of the appointment, the two workers were rushed and didn't stop to explain anything or tell me how the process worked. Everything felt unprofessional and hurried. When I asked why the rush, the technician said 'well, we do 4 of these houses a day'... Then I was presented with the cost of service which went from $199 starting price (and yes, I expected to pay up to about $500 with extra vents, furnace clean, etc) to a whopping $850. I was also upsold on the antimicrobial cleaner for $125 and really didn't feel like I had much of a choice in the matter. Money aside, the work was done incredibly rushed and they were finished all vents (30 in total), furnace, air conditioner, and dryer vent in an hour. They also used the extremely loud vacuum suction when my 6 month old was in my arms as I was walking through the house to get away from the noise. They were wearing ear plugs themselves, do you think they might want to hold off on the piecing noise until I was finished walking through my own home with my baby? It was unprofessional not to mention dangerous for my kids hearing. Anyway, I honestly felt taken by the whole experience. Wouldn't recommend.

As a service provider, we can expect that at times, unfortunate situations occur, however, if something unexpected happens, we try to find a solution to our client’s satisfaction. Our technicians are trained to be as careful as possible. We use powerful truck mounted units and I agree, when cleaning, the equipment is noisy (because of the rotating suction process). I apologize for my staff’s lack of judgment in not refraining from using the cleaning equipment while you were walking close by while your baby was in your arms. I would very much like to address this very unpleasant situation with the technicians that were sent to your home to ensure that this behavior does not repeat itself.     Duct Cleaning

    Clean Air has my highest recommendation. It's the attention to detail that separates good from great! My girlfriend suffered from congestion as soon as we moved in to our new home due to the dust. Aside from being personable and professional they did a through job. They communicated their process every step of the way and I am very satisfied by there service.

    Air duct cleaning

    I had such a great experience with 1 Clean Air ! Who knew how dirty your vents can get ? I have two fluffy cats that get fur all over EVERYTHING and my husband just recently quit smoking so the smell was still very present. But this team somehow got rid of all of that ! I feel like I'm breathing in fresh mountain air every day now ! So friendly and respectful too. Above and beyond. Life changing. A+. Will be recommending to all my friends.

    Duct cleaning service

    I found this duct service outstanding from other services that do relative work. I noticed a huge difference in dust build up and the whole process until payment made me feel comfortable and easy. Thank you!

    Carpet cleaning

    Carpets were very dirty and now are spotless. The crew was very friendly and the price is reasonnable. Incredibly satisfied, would recommend this company to anyone I know. Thank you to my neighbour for recommending this company.

    Amazing service

    Amazing service tge quality of the air at home changed after they cleaned my ducts. No more sneezing or dust on my tv. ;)) Kids are breathing clean air. Thank you

    air ducts

    For a quick review, I have to say these guys are good. Service is quick, I called in Monday and Jason was able to book me in the same week for Thursday. I was afraid the service would affect my new flooring and they put some carpets down and I appreciate that. The house was clean when they left. definitely recommend.

    Commercial carpet cleaning

    I have to sa this company can work fast and efficiently. I ask for a commercial estimate and the same day it was done. Following week, I was booked for my carpet cleaning afterhour in my store. They will be cleaning my carpets every second month with the quality of their work. Guys were plaisent and they care about us. They address all the concerns had. Thanks, will recommend for sure.

    Love the service Duct & Carpet

    Pretty easy going, efficient and both crews were nice. Cleaned duct first thing in the morning and carpet right after. Seems like they were timed. They gave me advice on how improve the air flow in the ventilation system because I don't receive a lot of air in bedrooms upstairs. Was referred by my neighbor and was great service.

    Not that great

    They cleaned only the vicinity of each register but didn't fish in a Skipper Ball to clean the trunks. When I raised my concern, the technician says that's just how he does it every time, 4 houses a day. !?! They also did not bother to cover the registers that were not being worked on. The $50 extra to clean the evaporator coil was not worth it. They did the cleaning through some access holes, and did not bother to unscrew the access panel. When I opened the panel a few days later, pieces of plastic bag were lodged in the coil. (Presumably from the old and worn out garbage bag they placed around my filter to block the airflow)

We just need to be careful when saying ‘’skipper ball to clean the trunks’’. This step is always part of our cleaning process and it is possible you didn’t notice. Here is our cleaning process and we might understand the reason we could miss this step. Our trained technicians begin with a pre-cleaning inspection and consultation. Next, we use a HEPA-filtered vacuum to systematically cleaning the ventilation system. The vacuum is connected to the main trunk line to collect dirt, dust and other contaminants lodged deep within the system. We always clean the supply and return registers and grills. Remove wall, ceiling and floor registers. Clean all air ducts using a variety of agitation tools dislodge the dirt and debris with our powerful duct cleaning equipment. Then we vacuum the interior surfaces of the Furnace/Air Conditioner. When the technician remove the whip, and switch for the skipper ball, it is a three seconds step and it is possible we don’t see the step. We have technicians that have been working for us for more than 20 years and they are quick and so efficient. Most of our crew do mostly three houses a day and sometimes four houses a day. I felt bad when I read you did not like the fact we used a garbage bag to maximize the power suction in the system. We always take a new bag if damaged but keep the item when it is in good condition because we like to take care of our environment. Regarding the plastics pieces left in the system, we never had any issues with a comparable situation before and knowing that, we would send a crew the following day to fix it. As for the panels, we usually create our own access a little higher on top of the coil and we also connect our vacuum hose at the same place. I sincerely apologize for the way you felt with the service and this will certainly help to improve our services.
