    Kitchen Renovation

    I met Bryan Verhulp, CEO of Ring Electric, at the Ottawa Home and Garden Show. Bryan was discussed various options for my kitchen renovation. After obtaining a few estimates I selected Ring Electric to replace the flourescent light fixtures from the kitchen and install perimeter pot lights, under the cabinet lighting, above counter wall receptacles and a whole-house surge protector. Bryan's team (Derick, Wade, Matt) were super. The work entailed three visits as the electrical changes had to be coordinated with other work trades. The team was knowledgeable, professional and hard working. I would highly recommend Ring Electric to others.

    Light fixtures & smoke detectors

    Two electricians from Ring Electric came to my house to do three jobs (install hardwired smoke detectors, install a dining room chandelier, and install a dimmer switch). The guys were extremely professional, super efficient (in and out in about 35 minutes), and very good at what they do. The positioning of the dining room light fixture had to be altered, and the chandelier itself has a lot of hanging parts. The result looks fantastic, and the guys were extremely patient as I got them to alter all the hanging parts into the position that I wanted them in. One of them even swept my floor afterwards. Would highly recommend!

    Bedroom lights

    I called Bryan for a quote for installing a couple of overhead bedroom lights. He was easy with scheduling, came and gave me a quote on site with email backup immediately. Marty and Ryan came to do the work very shortly afterwards. They were on time, super nice, fast and thorough. I would Strongly recommend - great service. Thanks!

    New electrical panel and replace outdoor outlets

    I chose Ring Electric because of their experience with older homes. The power had become intermittent in my home and I was concerned. I called Brian and he came over as quickly as possible. He determined that my panel was overloaded but also conducted a evaluation of all outlets, switches etc. to determine if there were more issues. To replace a panel Hydro had to be scheduled to turn off the power at the street and then come back to inspect and turn it on after the work was completed. Ring Electric took care of all of this. Their electricians were professional and very thorough, professional and cleaned up at the end of the job. They are also extremely dedicated. The two electricians on the job that day started before 8 AM and didn't leave until after 6:30 PM. They wanted to ensure that all circuits were identified and counted for before they left. I will definitely be calling on the Ring Electric team again.

    Living Room Kitchen Pot Lights

    Ring Electric installed new LED pot lights in our living room and kitchen. The old lamps had to be removed leaving unwanted holes in a stipple living room ceiling! When Ring was finished the ceiling was perfectly refinished, the lights were beautifully aligned with improved aesthetics. The dimmable lights are cool to the touch so they don't heat the rooms and the natural lighting effect is much easier on our eyes and improves colour balance dramatically. The new pots consume much less current than incandescent lights and will last almost forever. A bonus in all of this is that the installers left our home clean and tidy as though they had not been there! And , on top of all that, they arrive on time and when they say they will be there. Clearly, Ring cares about what they do and take the time to get it right. Sound familiar?

    Install outdoor lighting

    We liked Ring Electric after they installed some lighting fixtures for us a few years ago, so we hired them again when we had our backyard redone. This project involved installing a lamppost and two outdoor receptacles, all at different locations in the yard. Ring's crew arrived one day to do the interior wiring and lay the conduit, then came back when the landscaping was almost complete to do the final hookups and testing. Everything was neatly and professionally done; I appreciate the labelling job they did on the circuit breaker panel.

    Spotlights around house

    Just had roof done so I hired this company to install spotlights in my soffits Work was done quickly and beautifully These guys are neat workers and did a great job Neighbours will be calling Ron

    Kitchen Lighting, asst'd small jobs

    Bryan and his team were a pleasure to work with again! The job was completed faster than expected and exactly for the price quoted. The team was efficient, cleaned up the site nicely after themselves, and communicated well with me throughout. They even addressed a minor issue that they spotted that wasn't included in the ticket. Super happy with the service, the products installed, and the improved atmosphere these changes added to my home.

    Rewiring of house, installation of new pot lights in living room, new outlets throughou the house.

    Ring Electric did a brilliant job with my house. In only three days, they completely replaced the old wiring, replaced all of the fixtures, and added new outlets and overhead lights. They took care of the permit and inspections, and made the experience completely hassle-free for me. I was so impressed with the minimal impact to my plaster walls (you can hardly tell they were here). Bryan was extremely fast to respond to all of my questions throughout the job, and the entire team was very pleasant to deal with. I have no doubt that their work increased the value of my home significantly. I would recommend this team to anyone!

    Panel change, lights and repairs.

    Professional installation. Team arrived on time and completed the work within the estimated time frame. No callback or issues. Highly recommend them for electrical work and will be calling on Ring Electric in the New Year when I remodel my kitchen.
