We were looking for my daughter's first home and thought we found the perfect place. Really glad we had picked Shawn to do the inspection. He let us know everything that was wrong and right with the house, and whether it was serious or not. Because of his inspection, my daughter did not buy that house,and we couldn't be happier! Will be using Shawn again for the next house. Clear reports, with incredible detail. Highly recommend.

Shawn came in a did a home inspection for a house that I was about to purchase. Thankfully he was able to pinpoint key issues that would have been extremely dangerous and expensive for me to fix down the line. I would have had no idea that these problems existed if it wasn't for him. He was also able to explain all these problems to me in a way that I could understand so I could understand the severity of the issues. I will definitely be using his services again in the near future and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a house.

Shawn performed a home inspection for me and similar to other reviews, he was on the roof when I arrived at the house. Shawn was very thorough during the inspection and provided a detailed report that addressed the condition of the intended property. As a result of Shawn's inspection, I thought it best to "walk away" from this house. I'm glad I had Shawn's evaluation to make my decision with confidence. Shawn Janes was referred to us by a friend and we were very pleased with his work. He was already inspecting the exterior of the house before we arrived. He was extremely thorough and examined every inch of the house. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions very clearly. We received a comprehensive easy-to-understand report a few hours later via email. The report outlined both major and minor issues, and commented on which issues he would recommend to be fixed early to avoid potential consequences. He was also extremely quick with responding to my emails and phone calls. I would highly recommend him to any home buyer.

We had Shawn do a home inspection on a house we were going to purchase and thanks to his thoroughness we backed out and saved ourselves the headache of buying a lemon. We then found another house in a different area and used an inspector referred by a friend and it was a horrible experience. Shawn definitely takes the gold. You would be foolish to go with someone else.
