When the serviceman showed up (later than promised) he quoted more than $1100 plus tax to replace two "premium" springs and tried to upsell for more work too. Another company replaced the springs for $500 including tax and labour. The website and yellow pages advertise "free quotes" but they charged $150 + tax for a service call and did not do any work. Read the fine print and make sure to get two quotes if you use this company.

My father called this company in need of urgent repair to his faulty garage door, which had a cable that was broken. The technician replaced two cables and wheels, at an exorbitant cost of $1450 (taxes included) on the basis of a cash transaction (cost was to be an additional $200 if my father chose to use a credit card). My father was eager to get the repair done in order to take my mother to a medical appointment. After payment, a competitor offered a quote of $378 (taxes included) for the same job. I find the treatment of an elderly person in need outrageous in this instance.

Garage door was shaking and then would not close. Ali arrived within hours of being called and found the problem. Replaced the sensors and bearings and tightened everything - now the door works great. Recommended.

Used this company before very honest. Called them again and didn't let me down, the tech was very knowledgeable he adjusted the door and fixed my problem, I thought I needed a new door. Thank you soo much prestige will definitely use you guys again.

Prestige Garage Door - Broken spring on my mother-in-laws double garage door ended up with replacing all the working parts of the door as well as the garage door opener which was a bit older but in fine working condition. Mark-up on the motor alone was appox. 300% Retail approx $300 charged $950. Had similar work done at my house a few years ago at a fraction of the costs and solid customer with another guy that has since retired mother-in-law text me within minutes of accepting the quote so I spoke to the technicians and they said sorry...too late. It has been paid for yet nothing was installed yet.

The technician was helpful and came out right away it was a late night call. He gave me a price and re-assured me it was the going rate. The next day I got a quote from another company. They could not believe we got charged $2000 more than the job was worth. He only changed a roller and wire and a spring. I gave the technician the benefit of the doubt and did not think someone would take advantage of a consumer. What a joke , do not use this company you will be paying 3 times more.

Called to have garbage door higher a service call guy came to my house told me to give him 150.00 as a deposit and someone would come back to do the work by Oct 1-3rd. I have my invoice that says I owe 350.00 when they come back to do the work but they never came back and took my 150.00.
