    Frozen Pipes

    I'm not one to write reviews, however the exemplary service that Elie provided on Sunday was something that left a lasting impression on me. Not only was he able to come out on one of the busiest days of the year, but he stayed until all of the problems were resolved (over 3 hours). I had no running hot water in the house due to the pipe freezing and one of my showers was running water and not able to turn off. Elie went above and beyond the call of duty making helpful suggestions as well as bringing out some spray foam to fix a job that my old contractor was supposed to do to ensure the pipes weren't freezing. I would recommend him to anyone looking for honest work from an honest man.

    Clogged toilet

    By mistake while cleaning, I flushed a face towel down the toilet which immediately clogged it. I was in a panic as I had guests coming over for dinner in a few hours. I called around a few plumbing services and they either were not available to come on short notice (it was a Saturday at 5pm) or they were too expensive. I came across the plumbing expert and gave them a call. Not only was Elie able to come right away, but his prices were very reasonable. Elie was here within the hour and was able to unclog my toilet. He was professional and very friendly. Would recommend him to everyone and will use him again in the future.

    Drain unclogging, replace a toilet

    We are a combination medical clinic and pharmacy. Having a working bathroom is extremely important. One afternoon we had an overflow and plunging the toilet didn't help. Water wouldn't stop overflowing from the toilet. After a quick Google search, I called The Plumbing Expert. He recommended shutting off the water while on the phone. He was at my store within the hour. What initially seemed like a simple job turned out to require some larger equipment and a lot more time. Elie was upfront about costs as he proceeded. After unclogging the drain (at 745pm!) he cleaned up and was back the next day to install a new toilet. His work was professional, and everything was completed in a timely manner. I would strongly recommend him!

    Water valve replacement

    Basically had to replace galvanized (rusted) piping and water valve inside the property to allow Neptune to install a new water meter. Called several places - multiple times - some never returned my calls, others refused to do the work. Elie at the Plumbing Expert handled all the details, including parts, labor costs, and appointment, in two short phone calls. Provided excellent counsel while doing the job too (although, I admit, I rejected some of his ideas because I'm not one to upgrade plumbing unless *absolutely* necessary). Anyway, labor/service costs were reasonable (for Downtown Toronto area). Parts (new valve + piping) were over-priced. BUT for the level of service and speed Elie provides I'm inclined to pay a little extra for his good workmanship and customer service. One piece of advice for Elie is to be more transparent with prices. Line-by-line costs for each part and service being performed would be better.

    Thank you for the great review. We answer our calls and always reply to our calls or messages within 24hrs max. We take the jobs other contractors refuse to take because we are confident in our work and do the jobs at a fraction of the price most companies charge. ourparts are calculated at time of install we do not have a flat rate for 100year old homes as sometimes more parts are needed and the pipe sizes were not clear in the pictures we received. We will always recommend to replace galvanized steel pipe as It is not legal in today's code for the safety and health of the public.

    Emergency Plumbing repair

    Elie was amazing. He came on a Saturday night as soon as I called and did an emergency repair on two pierced pipes. It was a very challenging repair and he was very creative and professional in fixing it. He gave me a lot of extra advice and really took his time explaining everything to me. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him, and will definitely use him again.

    Heard this guy was good, and I was right. Professional work from beginning to end. Down to earth and honestly. Can't ask for more. Call this guy and you'll have a plumber for life!

    main valve replacement

    Elie was very professional. he came on short notice to help replace my main water shutoff valve. his quote included everything with nothing hidden. he explained everything he was doing. I would definitely bring him back for any plumbing work

    Hot Water Tank

    Elie was great! He came on time and was very informative, we are pleased with his work. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and honest. He saved us a lot of money, Thank you!

    Kitchen Faucet and Dishwasher Installation

    I called the Plumbing Expert for help installing a kitchen faucet and dishwasher. Elie responded promptly to our request. Not only did he work quickly and did a great job, he was also professional and friendly. We will definitely be using The Plumbing Expert from now on for ALL our plumbing problems/work.     Replace kitchen faucet

    Elie did a great job replacing my kitchen faucet. He did the work within 24 hours of my calling him. The way the old faucet was installed presented a challenge for hooking up the new one but Elie quickly found a solution. He worked quickly and did a quality job. I would definitely use him again.
