Leo was fantastic. We met with him, we gave him our design idea and he worked with us to build what we wanted. He provided us with his expertise along the way. He was very professional, prompt , efficient and organized. He produces high quality work with care. He was a pleasure to work with and would recommend him to anyone in need of this type of service. Most of all he was able to build us what we wanted and it looks amazing!

Leo did an excellent job on my stairs. I couldn't be happier with the results. Throughout the job he was attentive to my comments and had helpful suggestions. I have already recommended him to friends.

I highly recommend Leo. I needed to replace a very old railing on my staircase. Leo did a fabulous job. Was so meticulous in his workmanship and neat and tidy. Just a pleasure to deal with.

As someone who had just spent a lot of money on the house renovation, I can unequivocally say that you will not meet a more professional and passionate person in their trade. While the contact with Leo and a loss of quote on the job may have completely derailed our business relationship, it was Leo who stepped up and corrected the whole situation. For this, I tip my hat off to this man as he was only interested in having a happy customer...and you certainly did, sir! Due to a very tight schedule on my renovation and Leo`s plans for a long weekend, he did everything to ensure the job would be completed in one day and with the highest quality possible. As I sat and watched Leo and his assistant (who came with a Ph.D..btw) perform a miracle of a railing job I was ashamed to have minimized this art to something much more simple and trivial. For that, I am sorry. All the railing work including a post were designed and built by this man to an amazing quality. When anyone walks into our home, the very first item is the oak stairs and railings (w/ black metal pickets). If every trades person paid as much attention to detail and quality as Leo does in his work we would be living in some exquisite homes. Unfortunately, that is not the case but we still have some very professional artists who can make something very beautiful out of a 8" x 8" piece of oak. To Gmano Railings and Leo, you will always be my railings guy. Thank you very much from myself and my family for making our home into a castle.

He returned our call quickly, provided a prompt assessment and quote for the job and installed a sturdy and attractive hand rail. His work is professional and the site was spotless when completed. We were impressed with the reviews he had and contacted Leo to give us a quote for new posts and pickets for our staircase. He arrived on time for the quote and gave us recommendations and a price. He was very professional and friendly to deal with. We got a few quotes, but felt that Leo was the most capable of dealing with some complex changes we were making with the railings. We needed Leo to break down the job into 2 portions to accommodate some other work that was being done by another contractor upstairs. He had no issues coming for 2 days even though it was over the holidays, and got the work done as promised. This was greatly appreciated as our other renovations could continue on schedule. He came back for the second portion of the job as scheduled, and completed the work as promised. The posts he built and the pickets installed are gorgeous and we get compliments from everyone walking into our home. He even helped us fix an ugly gap between the nosing and hardwood floors at the top of the stairs that our contractor had made by accident. Thank you Leo for the filler wood you made for us! Leo took care in keeping the dust contained to the work area, and cleaned up daily so that our family life would be less disrupted. I would also add that my husband is extremely picky, but it was refreshing that with Leo, I did not have to hear all the usual complaints he usually has with the work done. I would not hesitate to recommend Gmano Railings to anyone looking to upgrade their staircase!

Leo is awesome. Extremely professional, keeps a super clean job site, and perhaps most importantly....he was extremely kind to my 3 year old son who was home sick during the installation. We reached out to numerous contractors on HomeStars to get a quote....and Leo was the only one who was willing to come to our house and do a proper quote. There were so many other contractors that refused to send someone to the job site unless we agreed to a price based on digital photos that we had to send! Bottom line, we would recommend Leo and Gmano railings without hesitation. Cheers, David

We had Leo come out and quote installing a new railing for our staircase. He was so great and talked through options with us on how the railing could actually be placed from top to bottom to maximize the space on the stairs (the original railing had a curve that took up space on the stairs) He listened to our tastes and had options ready to show us that reflected what we were looking for. Installation was fast and professional and he was always available and in communication with us leading up to the installation date, even sending me pictures of the posts when they were ready at the shop. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and use him again.

We cannot be happier with the work Leo from Gmano Railing has done in our home. Whatever your railing needs, be it a new install, refinishing or updating, Leo is the man for you. We had numerous problems with a previous installer, chief among them being a dangerously unsturdy and not to code railing on our main staircase. Leo was attentive and listened to our story and our complaints about our railing. He identified the problems with our current railing, citing code (which he keeps himself up to date with) and explained our options. He wasn't pushy, didn't push us to replace the entire railing, but suggested choices that were cost effective while at the same time keeping to the style we wanted why ensuring the safety of our railing. Once we agreed on the work and cost (which was definitely acceptable), in the end, Leo rose to the occasion to turn what was a seriously unprofessional job from a previous contractor into the beautiful staircase and railing we dreamed it would be. Leo came on short notice to give me a quote for a new wooden railing for my upper landing, and he accommodated my schedule in coming to build it. The finished product is solid and beautiful, just what I wanted. He also worked creatively to supply and install a piece of nosing that my floorers should have provided but didn't. He has excellent craftsmanship and is also very nice and a pleasure to work with, which makes all the difference in fast paced and sometimes stressful renovations! I recommend him without hesitation.
