They've taken care of our HVAC needs for over 10 years and were there promptly when our furnace quit and we needed it fixed. Knowing that you won't be left in the cold is important when the temperature drops, and you don't get this kind of service from just anybody... I dislike writing negative reviews because it is important to support local business but I feel compelled to write for my fellow customers. I bought a higher end American Standard furnace from Premier Comfort Heating and Cooling in 2017. While the furnace is great the installation of the furnace was sloppy and careless at best. Furthermore, Premier Comfort Heating and Cooling performed at least four paid annual inspections and never mentioned any problems. My central air died last week. Each company that provided an estimate noted the poor installation of the furnace. The company that installed the new air conditioner basically had to redo the sheet metal. I realize I am ultimately at fault for trusting Premier Comfort Heating and Cooling. That was a sad but valuable lesson.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We have had numerous installs done by Premier Comfort Heating and Cooling over the last years and received timely, professional, and excellent pricing for new products (furnace/AC) as well as thorough maintenance service . The service call was set up quickly and based on my schedule. The service people respected covid protocols and we all wore masks. The explanation of why my furnace wasn’t working and how it could be fixed (part required and why)was professional and clearly explained. They stayed to make sure all was working well. My apartment heat pump wasn't working consistently and was making loud ratting noises. Premier Comfort was the only company to respond to my request who seemed to know about the particular system in my apartment. Unfortunately, the service was poor. I was charged for 1.5 hours of labour even though most of that time was spent by the technician going back to his car to get tools and supplies that he forgot. I understand this can sometime be an issue downtown but three back and forth trips to the truck seems excessive especially when they're on the clock. After all that time, the problem also wasn't fixed and the heat pump still makes very loud noises. I called the technician again after a couple days to follow-up and was told that he would look into the issue and call back with a solution the next day. It's been a few weeks now and I've never heard back. Dishonest on pricing and gouging to customer. I have called for service to get airconditioning starting up again. Took Martin less than 30 mins and told need new freon about 1 lb (but charge for 3 lbs extra $100 for nothing) - I saw the test monitoring. Also need new capacitor - normal price for that specific capacitor device cost between $25-35 (got charge for $98). I couldn't recommend them more! Our air conditioner broke down right before the first heat wave of the year! Being in a quarantine, and stuck working from home with 3 kids (being home schooled) in 40 degrees humidity wasn't going to be fun! Well Martin came by during off hours to make sure we got it fixed. He spent a good amount of time checking everything, and thankfully we had our cold air and sanity back! The price was fair and service was excellent. What more could you ask for!Answer from pro:

I contracted with Premier for a new central air conditioner. They responded right away with a quotation, answered all my questions and had a very competitive price. The installation was done on the exact date promised and the work carried out in a professional manner by evidently expert installers. This was not an easy installation as we have an older bungalow with a finished basement, yet it was no problem for these guys.Answer from pro:

Recently I had several Home Improvement and upgrades to complete. These included the replacement of a furnace and a hot water heater. Additionally I wanted to install a ductless air conditioner. Given that the government currently has several incentive programs in place I thought I would take advantage of those. As usual I called around and got three coats for the work I needed completed. Premier Comfort was by far the most competitive of all the quotes I got. The first installation that I had completed was my ductless air conditioner. The work looked perfect. Martin showed up to do the final inspection and present me with the bill. I gladly paid this bill but was extremely surprised to find out that Martin had given me an additional discount of $300. He said that he was able to save me some money on the installation. Who gives you money back these days, Premier Comfort did. The installation of my furnace and tankless water heater went off as smoothly. I have been using these pieces of equipment for the last several months and am very happy with their performance. Yesterday I called into Premier to let them know I had an issue with the tankless heater. That was at 2 p.m. and by 6:30 p.m. Martin was on my front door addressing my concerns. Once again, where do you get service like that. I would totally recommend Premier Comfort for your next installation job.Answer from pro:

Our air conditioner was not working fully, we were looking for an HVAC company in Orleans and this one was rated very high so I did not hesitate to call them. Martin was able to come same day, he was nice, clean and courteous. He was able to find and fix the problem fairly quickly but then he went on to trying to optimize the function of the unit without asking if that was okay. He spent lots of time researching which meant what should have been a very quick job ended up taking 2.5 hours. He fixed the original problem in the first hour, then went on to do other work that was not authorized. He ended up billing us for only 2 hours, he did give us the first 1/2 hour free. In the end Martin is a very good technician who did go above and beyond to try and optimize our unit, but we do wish he would have asked for permission first before doing the extra work.Answer from pro:
