I recently had frozen water lines under my home. Montys was the first company to show up. The service was good and they had me thawed out in 2 hours. I was grateful and appreciative till the next day when I received my invoice. I was charged $ 548 for a 2 hour call to replace a 24 foot heat tape on my water line. The labour was an outrageous $400 ! I was under the house and had cleared the area, had removed half of the pipe wrap when he showed up. I even loaned the gentleman my flashlite to do the job. There was a second van showed up, and had another worker who sat in the van for the whole time. I don't know if I was charged for two men or not, But, a $400 labour charge to replace a heat tape is beyond comprehension. My review is to warn people using Montys, to be sure to get a quote so that you don't experience the blatant cash gouging that I did.

Monty has helped me out on 2 separate occasions now when I was in a pinch. He is super quick to respond and explains everything incredibly well. I would recommend this company to anyone.

We knew that our hot water tank was nearing the end so we contacted Monty's Plumbing to replace it. Monty discussed our needs and suggested options for replacing it including costs, energy efficiency and time to get it done. Monty and his team are professional, friendly, and they clean up after themselves!

It was great. I made the emergency call and Monty was on site in half an hour. He had identified the problem, gave me options for repair or replace. It was great.
