After researching 3-4 other competitors and getting quotes, Andre was by far the best choice in terms of product, service and results. We needed to replace our original windows that were leaking water. Andre was the only contractor to truly listen to what we wanted and then present us with more than one option to meet our budget and needs. He was so accommodating, he even kept his shop open to show us the windows, when we arrived at closing time. We took his recommendation and the windows are beautiful, the leaking has stopped and we have got lots of compliments on the change to our home. We are thrilled with the level of professionalism and knowledge of everyone at Oakville Windows and Doors. The crew made the installation seamless. We are so happy with this experience, we are going to be returning customers, soon to get a new front door. Working with Andre and his team is a win.

Referred to this company by another service provider, great connection with Andre the owner, he stopped in right away to have a look and had the installer come to measure for a quote. Friendly, great follow up and the windows are beautiful! What a difference it makes in the front of the home and it is warmer in there already.

We met Andre at the Oakville Home & Leisure show this past summer. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. He came out to our home to do an estimate and suggested some ideas that no other door/window company had recommended. Andre quoted six to eight weeks and sure enough the doors arrived and installed within that time frame. The two installers were very professional, friendly and neat. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for new windows and/or doors

This is the second time we hired Andre to look after our door needs. We were so happy with the quality of workmanship and service for a side door installed a couple of years ago we did not hesitate to use this company again for a front door entrance with sidelight and another side door entrance. We visited the showroom and met with Jessica to look at options. We were pleased with the variety of choices and being able to see the displays really helped us make confident decisions. The projected timeline was met and the installers were courteous and professional. Once again the workmanship was outstanding. A final visit by Andre to ensure our satisfaction was welcomed. We looked at the other reviews on this site and it is no surprise the ratings are very high for this company. We experienced the same results with three door installations and it is a 10 for each door.

We have beautiful front and back doors from Oakville W&D. However, back door let water in, which ruined a few slats of hardwood floor near the door. We called and left a message, which was not returned. We called again and got Jessica (who is pretty good), who said this would be referred to Andre who would follow up and schedule someone to fix the problem: nothing (when the doors were installed in 2014, Jessica said Andre would follow-up, which did not happen). The third time we called was a rainy day (water coming in) and some projects that day were cancelled, so a technician came over and fixed the problem. Simple solution but took a long time to get OW&D to respond, and in meantime part of our floor was ruined (replacing now, as part of another project). Great doors, poor follow-up. We have been waiting since July 2014 to have someone recaulk under the back door, will get another company to do it now (while replacing some windows).

In our experience, Oakville Windows & Doors have been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The owner of the company, Andre, came out to give us an estimate on the replacement of a very large living room window. Andre is very personable, and we immediately knew we could trust his advice and opinion. The pricing was fair and competitive to the other quotes we gathered. The major selling points for us to choose Oakville Windows & Doors was: 1) They employ their own installers and don't sub-contract the jobs 2) Andre's knowledge of the products and confidence in his company to do the job well 3) We like to support local business Overall, we had a fantastic experience as they exceeded our expectations. The window was manufactured on time and installed flawlessly. On the day of installation, Walter and his crew arrived early, worked hard and cleaned up very well. Andre also came out the same day to make sure we were happy. We are extremely happy with our new window and would highly recommend Oakville Windows & Doors. We will be using them again in the future.

Andre came to do an estimate for our front doors. We wanted to improve privacy and maybe change the decoration glass on our doors. He did not try to sell us any product or push us to change the existing front doors, instead he suggested alternative methods that are more economical which we could do our selves. Very honest and greatly appreciated.

We ordered our windows in October, were given a firm first week of December install time.......called them that week. When they returned our call, they informed us the windows would be installed mid January. They were installed last week, the windows are beautiful, but the mullions are incorrect, the job site was very dirty. I was not informed that my custom window blinds would no longer fit, or that there would be wall repairs to be done by us afterwards. We received a meager 300.00 credit towards keeping the windows with incorrect mullions instead of the ones we ordered, which were plainly seen on the order. Or wait again for our windows to be replaced again. Deal with the wait and the mess. As a result, I would not deal with this company again. READ YOUR CONTRACT. Because you have no recourse after you give them the money down. They basically are steering the ship instead of the home owner, who is paying!
