Love it! Love it! Love it! Tanya and her team painted by dated oak kitchen cabinets to a beautiful white, my oak banister-espresso brown, fireplaces and ceiling! I would not hesitate to recommend Tanya and her team. My friends want her number, and think she has done a wonderful job. Kitchen Makeovers was reasonably priced, efficiently run, and professionally orchestrated. It is beyond my expectations! Tanya, thank-you for your suggestions on the bathroom and all the extra touches!

Our oak cabinets are 18 years old and in excellent condition but after that time you get a bit tired of the colour (ours was a forest green). We got a few quotes and heard of Tanya through a friend of a friend. Turns out her quote was the best for what we wanted done so selecting her was easy. Job took basically a week to complete and we are totally pleased with the result. Because we had a somewhat dark base coat (the forest green) we were limited colour-wise to going with a darker finish but that's what we wanted anyway so good to go. After several colour samplings (thanks Tanya!) we settled on a darker brown with a high gloss finish to reflect the light. Turned out absolutely awesome!! Couldn't be happier. We'd highly recommend Tanya and her team if your interested in a cabinet makeover!

When I was researching companies to paint our oak kitchen cabinets I came across Kitchen Makeovers and read all the reviews. I figured they had to be good because of the reviews so I phoned Tanya to come and see what we wanted done and to give us an estimate. I liked her right away so before she left our house we had signed a contract with her to do the job. Tanya explained the process of how they work and everything went exactly like she said. They arrived on time each morning of the 5 days it took, cheerful and hardworking crew and the final day Tanya came in and worked her magic. Our kitchen looks gorgous, they did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

I lived with ugly countertops for 5 years and I had enough. I couldn't bare to look at them anymore (imagine a dull, medical facility blue...made my kitchen and washroom look like a doctor's counter). I placed the project request on homestars and i was most impressed with Tania's vision! And i saved huge! Rather than going with expensive granite, she showed me her method of doing a faux granite paint and i can't even tell the difference! It's got that nice gloss window finish, she created the exact appearance i asked for (black and grey with specks of reflective faux minerals to make it sparkle) and it's gorgeous!! now i can finally look at my kitchen and washroom and not get that bitter angry feeling from being unsatisfied with how it looks. Tania is incredibly sweet, kind and her husband is equally nice and very thoughtful. they talked me thru the process, told me exactly what to expect at each stage and I never felt anxious or uncertain. These two are rock stars. If you need your counters refurbished/refinished/refaced, go ask tania what she can do for you. I'm so glad I decided to give it a shot!

Over the past 8 years my husband and i have toyed with the idea of updating our kitchen. We have a very large kitchen and every attempt made became too complicated and expensive. We never ever really felt sure. We finally ran across Tanya's business and met with her. We felt immediately that she was the right fit for us. The kitchen was a light oak and we went black. IT LOOKS JUST AMAZING!!! No one can believe its the same cabinets. Tanya was very clear and true to her words with timing and process. Loved having her and Tianna around, they are truly genuine, hardworking, personable people. I wish I could say that about some of the other trades i dealt with. Do not hesitate to have them redo your kitchen, the only regret I have is that we did not find her sooner. Before we had this done I wanted to move to a new more updated home. I no longer feel that way. So very happy with results.

The cabinets in our home are 16years old and were showing the signs of aging and "wear & tear". Rather than replacing them, I decided to have them refinished. I contacted Kitchen Makeovers for a quote, as well as some other firms. I decided to go with Kitchen Makeovers and was more than pleased with the finished product as well as the professional services provided. The cost was good, the promised time for completion was met and dealing with Tanya and her staff was excellent. I would strongly endorse Kitchen Makeovers and use them again, should I require additional work.

I had contacted a few contractors to come give me estimates on replacing my kitchen counter tops and the cost was somewhat intimidating. After a few of them had stopped by for estimating I really didn't feel the professionalism in any and didn't want to spend that type of money without feeling secure with the product I would be getting. I found Tanya from Kitchen Makeovers on the internet and she gave me a different angle of resurfacing my current counter tops which I didn't know was available.Out of all the contractors she was the only one that actually spent the time to take notes on what we were trying to achieve and supplied us with a reasonable estimate to complete the job. After her first visit we contacted her 10 minutes after she had left to give her the job, very friendly and professional which really made the difference and we felt very comfortable giving her the work. She started on time as scheduled and finished as scheduled leaving us great new resurfaced counters the looked awesome. We made a few scuffs installing the sink a few days after she had finished, I contacted her and she came by a few days later to repair our errors to ensure we were happy with the finished product which I think is great customer service. I would and have already recommended Tanya to others.

Very happy with how our cabinets turned out. Our cabinets were scratched and banged up. So before we listed our home we had Tanya and her team come in and refinish our kitchen and bathroom cabinets in a dark espresso. Tanya is excellent to work with, very personable. We were in a time crunch but kitchen makeovers squeezed us in and got the job done sooner then I could of imagined. Cabinets turned out beautiful and gave our house a new home look and feel. We have just put our house on the market days ago and now have a bidding war going with offers over asking price! I am so thankful I came across Tanya and her team at Kitchen Makeovers. Thanks Guys!

After reading the rave reviews on homeStars and meeting Tanya for an in home estimate I was convinced that her team at Kitchen Makeovers could give my kitchen the facelift it needed. The kitchen cabinets were less than 10 years old and I thought it was a shame to replace them so painting seemed to be the best and most economical option. The rest of our home had been renovated and I wanted to tie the kitchen into the new look of the house and so we went with upper and lower cabinets in white and black. I wasn't sure about my color selection but Tanya assured me that it would look great and she was right. The kitchen now blends with the rest of the home and has a modern sensibility without being sterile. We have since replaced our counter top and backsplash and the kitchen feels completely new. I love the work that Tanya and her team did. They were true to their word and always arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and carried themselves in a professional and friendly manner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tanya to work on your home.
