    Home Inspection

    We bought a new home and we wanted to do a whole home inspection the works. I actually found out about CLEARVIEW and Tom through this site and from the reviews he had. I went ahead and reached out, Tom got back to me right away, and booked time to come. He did a very good inspection kept me in the loop every step of the way. Detailed pictures, using thermal pictures as well, checked the roof and everything. Then explained all the key points and spots for improvements. Pointed out what was high medium and low priority changes. The part that sets him above others I would say is the ongoing contact and relationship where even after I received the detailed multiple page PDF report (very nice btw). When I had questions of new things that would come up or if I needed a recommendation for a trades person he was able to give multiple references which was a huge help saving me time and money. I would highly recommend if you are in need of a good reasonable and quality home inspector look no further.

    Concern with home safety

    I contacted Thomas due to concerns I had with my home wiring safety. I bought my house a year ago and didn't get a proper inspection at the time. Thomas responded to my request very quickly. He explained the options clearly on how to use his services. He showed up on time and was very courteous. He examined each area thoroughly and went over issues for each area right after. He sent me a comprehensive report the same night. I contacted Thomas after a while to get some contacts regarding his report's recommendation and he had the same responsiveness. Overall I am very satisfied using his services and would recommend him to my friends.

    Home Inspection for Purchase of Home

    I really enjoyed my home inspection experience with Tom from Clearview Home. From the very beginning of my experience, Tom was so professional and took the time to explain the process to me. During the inspection, he was very knowledgable and patient as he walked us through the home we were interested in buying - which happened to be my parents home. Being in this unique situation of buying a family members home, we found that Tom was both respectful to the home and my parents, but honest and thorough as well. He did a great job and the report we received at the end was very thorough. I definitely recommend Clearview Homes and Tom for your home inspection.

    Home Inspection

    Tom was great! He came to our home and took about 3 hours to do his home inspection. He explained everything along the way and made some suggestions not covered by the builder to improve the efficiency of our home. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a very comprehensive and insightful report.

    Full Home Inspection

    Thomas was super professional, accommodating and detailed in his inspection. He’s Very knowledgeable and personable in his communications. He also takes his time to really get to know your house and thoroughly walks you through his process. We were very appreciative of his attention to detail, as we are first time homebuyers. We 100% recommend the Clearview team!

    Pool inspection

    Tom was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. He provided us with a thorough inspection and walked us through everything. He took the time to explain things and answered all our questions and concerns. We are glad we used Clearview and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for value for your money with impeccable customer service.

    Excellent Service and Professionalism!

    Tom alleviated my concerns as a first-time home buyer by providing me with a thorough and excellent inspection. He explained everything step-by-step and made me feel assured that I did due diligence before closing on the home. He provided a detailed and well organized report which I can easily refer back to. He also provided thermal imaging for mould testing (extra price but with it) which offered me relief to know my home passed the test! The next time I need to do home inspection, I'm calling Tom!

    Home Inspection

    Tom did a superb job. The form and content of his is report was far superior to other home inspection reports I've seen. Many home inspectors just put in anything under the sun without regard to seriousness of the problem or priority of repair. Tom is able to distinguish between what matters and what does not. He was timely, responsive and informative. I would gladly use him again.

    Very knowledgeable and professional.

    Tom takes the time to walk you through the entire house and highlights all the items he is looking for and why. He also documents it so that you can review it later and answers all questions that you may have related to the inspection. Highly recommended.

    Pre-Purchase Home Inspection

    I highly recommend Tom and Clearview Home & Property Inspections. I am a first-time home buyer who is very unfamiliar with the home buying process. My partner and I put a conditional offer on a home we liked and were given only the weekend to schedule a home inspection. Out of the multiple companies called, Tom was the only one who was able to accommodate our last minute need. He was responsive, professional, punctual, and extremely comprehensive. Tom is a hidden gem full of expertise and knowledge. I work in public health and everything Tom said relating to environmental hazards was accurate, and I learned new things from him as well. His process was methodological; he performed one part of the home inspection on his own, and then reviewed the findings with me right after. He started with the exterior of the building, and then moved from basement to the upper floors. My initial nervousness about the inspection disappeared quickly, and there was never a moment where I was confused or lost. In the end, Tom provided a lot of excellent information that helped inform our decision as to proceed with the home or not. My father, who is a realtor, also attended the home inspection and stated that out of his 30 years in the business, Tom was hands-down the best home inspector he has ever worked with. All I have to say is thank you Tom.
