    Home Inspection

    Top notch job! After reading so many positive reviews on the Homestars, we decided to contact Clearview and ask Tom to be our home inspector. He's so enthusiastic with his work and he is very knowledgeable and patient. We put an offer on a house on a Friday. We then called Tom and he was able to inspect the property the next day...a Saturday. He pointed every deficiency and taught us many maintenance tips. Last but not least, he was professional, pleasant and personable. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a responsible and qualified home inspector. Super job, can't wait to move into the house.

    Home Inspection, Infrared Camera, Vermiculite testing

    Great work. Tom was very professional and thorough from the beginning. He went through the home carefully and methodically. He even managed to get into the attic through a tiny attic hatch. Glad that he did because the attic had vermiculite insulation. Overall we were very pleased with the inspection and would not hesitate to recommend his services.

    Home Inspection, Infrared Scan, Air Sampling

    Great Inspection. After reading the reviews on Homestars I contacted Tom to perform his "Plus" inspection, because I wanted the most comprehensive and thorough inspection possible. This included a Infrared camera scan and air testing for mold. I was very happy with the way Tom went through the home and explained the various issues. His report was very clear and gave me confidence in making my decision to buy this home. When buying the first home is nice to deal with someone with experience. Thanks Tom.

    home inspection

    My wife and I had Tom to come and do a property inspection for a 45+ yrs old property. Tom actually came early and had the roof inspection all done by the time we arrived. He provided us with indepth info in regards to the condition of the roof and pictures for evidence. We inspected the rest of the house together along with inferred scan and mold sample. Tom took his time and answered all our questions. The inspection report was extremely detailed with all the inferred images and pictures to show the areas of concern and the air sample came back on time as promised at the beginning. Thanks to Tom's inspcection report were able make an educated decision on the property.

    Home Inspection and Infrared Camera Scan

    Great job Tom! We bought a home that had multiple offers on it and we waived the inspection to win the bid. We knew that some work was needed on this home but wanted a professional inspector to assess and help prioritize the work. Tom was extremely thorough and found more issues with the home than I expected. He also explains things with patience and clarity, in a way that really helped me understand what needed to get done. His report was very detailed and I will use this as a guide to organize and prioritize the work. Thanks again Tom.

    Home Inspection

    We contacted Tom to conduct a home inspection for our 30 day Tarion form. During the three hours that Tom conducted the inspection, he was extremely meticulous and very professional in ensuring all aspects of our house was inspected. He walked my wife and I through our home and patiently explained everything to us, always inviting us to ask questions or seek clarification. Tom uncovered several items that we would surely have missed ourselves and made us aware of things we should look out for in the future. His report was very well writted with plenty of photographs and several informative appendicies. Thank you, Tom, for a job well done!!

    Home Inspection

    Great value for money as inspections was not only beneficial in the decision to purchase a house but the report is also a great reference tool to use going forward in owning the house. Tom was very professional, polite, showed up on time and spent 3 hrs doing a thorough inspection. He too the time to explaining / teaching us about the issues we saw (or didn't see). We were very impressed with the report which was delivered very quickly, later that same evening. The report was over 60 pages of easy-to-read info and contained tons of helpful photos. Overall, excellent experience, we learned a lot and would highly recommend his services.

    Home Inspection and Infrared Camera Scan

    Clearview home inspections was fantastic!! After reading their great reviews we knew we wanted them to inspect our potential new home. After watching Tom go through this house meticulously, we realized that our inspector was very knowledgeable and encouraged questions if I didn't understand something. The thermal camera was was very cool and picked up some hidden items which he easily explained to us. Overall, great inspection and would definitely recommend.

    Tarion Home Inspection and Infrared Camera

    Terrific inspection. My wife and I found the inspections process is very helpful as we found many items that needed to be corrected/repaired that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. We also learned much about home constrcution in the process. The report was very clear to read and understand. We are very happy with the inspection and would recommend Tom's services.

    Home Inspection and Thermal Scan

    We recently purchased a new home and days later, found a significant number of major issues that our first home inspector had missed. Water damage and mold was our first priority issue that had to be dealt with immediately. After making a few phone calls, it was evident that we had to go with Tom from Clearview. Tom was able to come out the next day (he could've been over within two hours but I had other trades in). He was very professional, courteous, and respectful to our home. Tom is extremely knowledgeable and this was evident as he walked us through our home, giving us thorough explanations about everything. A detailed, color report was emailed to us later that evening. When I was unable to print the document (d/t my own computer issues), Tom had taken the time and effort to change the format overnight so I could print it in the morning. He also followed up with a phone call to ensure I was able to print it. With our first poor home inspection and all the problems we subsequently found, we were left quite saddened with the purchase of our new house. However, once Tom came into the picture, we now have a clear understanding of what we are dealing with, and the best part is that Tom reassured us that everything is fixable, so we can hang on to the house we were drawn to and make it our home! Tom exceeded our expectations, he is worth every penny, and we would recommend him to anyone in a second. Thanks again, Tom!
