Short Story: The plumber that they sent could not even read the water meter properly. Was not able to pin point the problem, and did not even go around the house to do the basic investigation. They charged us $111 for his service, told us they will give us a Refund, but Never did. Be aware of this company. Full story: I called Rooter.Man bc we had this sound of water running behind the wall for a week, without having any leakage. We checked all the toilets and all the taps, all were closed. After two weeks, we called Root.Man - now we also had a wet basement. The service guy checked the water meter and suggested that I had to call the City , Water department since he said "the meter does not show any water running. this water is coming from outside of your house, it is from the street." He also gave us a quote to repair the foundation wall. The quote was for $7,800. He did not even bothered to go and check around the building. So, we called the City of Richmond Hill, and told them as per our plumber, there must be water leakage from the street into our house. The gentleman who came, first investigated all around the house, including the back yard, And guess what? The tap behind the basement wall, was all open. Fully running water. Running water had made a pool behind the wall. Of course he charged us nothing. I contacted Rooter.Man and explained what happened. I told them that the person they sent, did not do any basic "investigation", was not able to pin point the problem, and even worse, was not able to read the water meter properly. They said they are sorry and they will issue us a refund as soon as their managers are back from vacation. No refund, no apology yet. Nothing. We just throw away One hundred eleven dollars.

Good day, after doing a extensive follow up we discovered that the basement had leaked through a crack in the foundation wall after a major rain storm. You demanded a refund to our office staff for the diagnostic fee and threatened us that if a refund was not processed and negative review would be processed. Our staff has been nothing but helpful and co operative, this review is not only legitimate, it is false as there was no service performed by us and it was a clear leak through the foundation after the heavy rain. The hose bib story is completely manufactured. Rooter-Man

Toilet not draining well
Our toilet wasn’t draining well. Jay was polite and efficient. He snaked the toilet, unblocked it, and tested it thoroughly. Recommended a new one due to its age. The price was okay and we were satisfied with the fix.

Drain Replacement
We had a major drain repair that required excavation in certain areas of my home, as well as parts of the exterior. As someone who has gone through renovations in the past, I must say that the crew at Rooter-Man were AMAZING! The crew was focused and worked-hard to finish in a timely-manner. Each day, they cleaned up the work area and left their tools etc. in a tidy manner. They played no music, put their phones away, and zoned out in the job! At the end, they left my property spotless. I cannot give enough praise to rooter-man. I am so beyond satisfied with their workmanship. I felt safe leaving my home with the crew inside doing their work. My wife is equally as satisfied - absolutely no complaints!

Impressed with how the work was done. The workers where informative kept me up-to-date on the process all areas worked on were left clean during and after the job was done as seen in the pictures Very professional I definitely recommend rooterman for any Plumbing or escalation job.

Damaged shower handle but fixed the next day
Installed a shower cartridge but damaged the cover and handle upon reinstallation. Returned to fix it at no cost the day after issue was raised. Still not impressed with the damage and cost for the work.

Amazing service
The second time we have had Anthony do work for us. The best knowledge, service quality and absolute professionalism. Beyond 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend both the company and Anthony.

Cracked pipe
Leak in basement turned out to be a cracked kitchen pipe. Rooter Man showed up within an hour after my initial call. Jay was very helpful, professional and quickly found the problem and after explaining costs etc he fixed it and within 3 hours of my call the leak was fixed! Thank you so much for your prompt and professional service.

Leak in laundry room
I was assured on the phone that I would be dealt with promptly and I was. Alex called me when he was done his previous job and told me his aproximate arrival time. He was punctual, clear in his findings and very helpful. I would highly recommend them. Excellent service.

Frozen Pipes
-20 deg Jan 21, 2019. Immediate response from the emergency number and booked a call. Dzenan was very good about calling with his arrival time and then explaining the problem. He was courteous and informative. Unfortunately, the pipes are plastic and the pipe warmer could not be used. The invoice was sent promptly with a note describing the job. I was able to click on a link to pay. This is a very good system. The only reason I did not give this 10 stars is that I had provided the office with the on-site contact ( I do not live in the property) but the office had not given that information to Dzenan.

Thank you sir for choosing Rooter-Man for your frozen pipe emergency. Unfortunately it turns out that our thawing equipment could not unfreeze your pipes. Please be aware of the weather forecast and the next deep freeze we have please turn up the temperature in the house and let a faucet run ever so slowly so there is constant water flow during the extreme conditions. This should prevent the pipe from freezing. We appreciate this review.
