    basement sewer lines compromised

    After our initial appointment with Stephen, felt very confident in the work that needed to be done. Stephen said that it would take 3 days and upon starting the work, it finished on time. Also when I had to speak in the office Sandy was wonderful to deal with. Work outside and inside was restored to its original state, very clean.

    Awesome service... had issues with slow drains, all good now

    Had issues with slow drains in the house for years... At least once a year the main drain would get backed up, we had it snaked by a few different plumbers, but after a while the backup would happen again and again. So then we thought we would spend a little extra money and get someone more professional to have a look at things. Stefan from Rooter-Man showed up at our door within the hour and did a camera inspection. He then used some other high tech equipment that power flushed the drains with hot water... and wow what a difference, no more slow drains. Stephan explained it perfectly, regular snaking only clears out the large debris, but it doesn't clean out the sludge buildup. Stefan did another inspection after the power flush and the main drain looked good as new again. Should've called Rooter-Man in the first place, instead of always opting for no-name plumbers. And the rate difference wasn't even that far off. Lesson leaned. Awesome service Stefan, thank you again. Definitely recommend Rooter-Man, these guys are pros, you just can't go wrong.

    Bathroom Shower Faucet Leaking

    Placed a call. Claimed they were coming that day but did not come until 26 hours later. Robert showed up and said that I needed a new faucet. He wrote out a work order and quoted a price. I said it was high and he yelled, "Do you want it done or not?" I sheepishly said yes as I did not want to wait any further. He made me sign all the papers including one that said the job was finished to my satisfaction. I balked at that and he repeated "Do you want it done or not?" I signed and he took my credit card for payment. He was there for an hour ripped out two tiles and a bit if drywall. He then went to his van and got a replacement faucet in plain brown box. He replaced the shower and placed all the remaining bits in the box, as I then had to hire someone else to replace the drywall, tiles finish installing the taps. His invoice emailed later described: Supply faucet $201.00, Copper fittings $30.00, Part pick-up (from his van parked in front of my house) $70.00 and 2.5 hours labour (my tenant said he was only there for 2) $451.26. Robert was rude and intimidating and I would never recommend his services to anyone.

As most can understand situations beyond our control arise and at rare times a delay can happen. Our records indicate that a phone call was placed to inform you that we needed to reschedule and it was mutually agreed upon that we would arrive the next day instead. With respect to Roberts timing, Rooter-Man tracks all service vehicles by GPS which allows us to monitor when our plumbers have arrived to your location. Tracking shows Robert arrived to your location at 12:55 and was complete at 3:35. Timing marked on the invoice would be accurate. With respect to signing documents our policy is to fully inform our clients of pricing upfront with a signature required of acknowledgment and approval to proceed with the service. Without a signature service can not be performed. It is unfortunate that your experience was not a pleasant one however we do thank you for your business.     Emergency drain pipe repair

    Looking after an elderly parent (93) in a 65+ year old house and on a Sunday morning the old house p-trap under the floor gave in. The team from Rooter-Man, everyone from the patient lady who took the call , the plumber (Alex) and the two guys who broke the floor and replaced the system, were fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for better service and people, all were great with my Mom, clean and efficient. We are pleased with the cost. I fully and completely recommend Rooter-Man!

    Blocked drain in the basement

    It started with me settling down to watch TV on a thursday evening when I heard my water alarm in the basement go off. Noticed that the floor drain had water around it. I immediately searched homestars and went with Rooter man based on proximity and recent reviews. My call was handled promptly in an extremely professional manner by a female rep. I was in a slight state of panic, but after talking to her realized that the blockage was only when running the kitchen sink and could wait till morning. She set up an appointment for 9 AM the next morning. Promptly at 9:00 AM Alex showed up. His professional and courteous manner immediately gave me confidence that I had picked the right company for the job. He diagnosed the problem as build up of grease and snaked the drain. He then waited for me to do a very thorough testing of water flow by asking me to repeatedly fill up the kitchen sinks and run max water volume. The problem was solved. Alex, did a great job, and while in the home pointed out some items for improvement - e.g. the washer hoses. This was greatly appreciated. So, bottom line, I can recommend highly without reservations.

    Basement drain hydro flush cleaning

    Note: I am posting my review again, this time under my saved profile: It all started on the Sunday morning of labour day long weekend... I found my basement floor drain backed up. I called Rooter-man and Jay was there within 2 hours-he snaked out the drain until the clog was cleared and then did a camera inspection... we found a heavy buildup of grease from the kitchen drain (I didn’t know about maintaining my drains before)... Hydro flush was recommended. So Jay and Stefan were back 2 days later and did a fantastic job! Camera now shows clean drain walls all the way down the line right to the sewer main. The guys were very courteous, informative and neat. Totally worth it for the peace of mind!

    Plumbing

    Basement kitchen and bathroom sinks were not draining, I was very worried. Robert from Rooter-Man GTA came and did a thorough assesment. His truck was like a whole shop on wheels! He had everything required to fix the problem, and did it right there and then! What a relief, everything working again. Robert was highly skilled and experienced, friendly and neat. A fair price and totally worth it. I'd absolutely recommend him. 10/10!! Thank you!

    Great Service

    Called Rooter-Man for the problem with clogged kitchen drain. Alex arrived within an hour, explained everything and started working. He snaked the line diligently till grease blockage was cleared. Extremely pleasant to deal with, has the knowledge and works hard. Highly recommending. Sina

    Bathroom

    Replacement of pipes faucet in bathroom and kitchen. Installation of cupboard surround in bathroom. Job completed was very clean and proffessional. I would highly recommend!
